I am a regular contributor to your organization and I am also a conservative independent voter so I definitely lean Republican but I am not a Christian and I resent the statement that non-believers are all going to vote for our current idiot in charge. I have lived my life in what you would consider a Christian manner but I also strongly believe that we need to leave religion out of politics...all religion. That being said, I respect your beliefs but I don't believe all Christians are good people just like you should know that all non-believers are not evil. Have so much respect for what you are doing here and will continue to contribute to you but just wanted to vent.

This is what I've been saying all along. I do NOT believe that Obama is a Christian, despite his desire to have Christians believe that. And I don't believe that he's a Muslim... though I have noticed him going out of his way to give Muslims the opportunity to draw that conclusion, with plenty of "tangential support" for that conclusion.

Obama is more than willing to trick gullible Christians, and gullible Muslims for that matter, if he can get away with it. But he is really a disciple of the particular belief system known as "Secular Humanism." This, despite claims to the contrary by its adherents, is a religion, every bit as much so as any other religion. They generally claim it to not be a religion due to the lack of a "God figure" in that belief system, but there IS a "God figure" in what they believe... it just happens to be that the "God" they believe in is THEM.

It is possible to be an atheist or an agnostic without being a member of the "secular humanism" faith, by the way. Someone who arrives at those positions through pure intellectual rigor is not a "secular humanist," and though I may disagree with their conclusions, I can respect them.

But the "secular humanist" faith is just that... a FAITH. By contrast, you can question anything when discussing real science. Real scientific concepts are not only able to withstand scrutiny, but are REQUIRED to be able to withstand scrutiny. You'll never see a real scientist claim "the debate is over, this is the only explanation" for anything where there is not 100%, unimpeachable hard proof.

This is NOT a Christian statement, and no true Christian could mistake it for one. Obama says, "He [Jesus] was a manifestation of God's love for us. I believe you summed up the matter of Obama's faith fairly, but the key is his narcissism. Obama, in my opinion, is very content with his socialist/marxist upbringing. He now wants Americans to have the same experiences and values that have made him the wonderful person he sees himself being today. He doesn't hate America. From careful observation, and from actually listening to what President Obama has said over the last few years, I have come to the conclusion that his "faith" is the same as all other communists/socialists/Marxists throughout the past 150 years. One must be careful at how they look at the definition of Christian by a large majority of the population who believe there is a God hence they are a Christian, but rarely, if ever, attend a church service on a regular basis.

Any person who aspires to be the President of the United States, must have a strong Christian character, whether Baptist, or Catholic because of the conditions and the decisions forced upon the position of President. In other religions, it is works leading to faith, or faith that leads to compulsory works.

I am not an American although there are times when I wish that was the case. However, I served alongside your forces for many years without recognition or decoration, which is as it should be given the nature of the work. I also happen to be a Christian and rather traditional. Under normal circumstances, I would not presume to comment on US politics and the presidency although I take a keen interest in both. I take the view that if I can't play the game then I can at least sit in the bleachers.

The vexed question of Pres. Obama and his religion has gone on for as long as he has been in office. I recall that in the middle of the initial argument about his eligibility and claims that he was a Muslim, it was said that he regularly attended a black Baptist church in Washington.

My quotations of the Bible tend to come from the King James version and one of the first lessons I learned was: “Judge not, lest ye be judged.” The attribution to the president of what appears to be a perfectly normal and natural statement, especially about loving our neighbors as ourselves, throws a spanner in the works. Is he a Christian or as many suspect an Islamic or even pagan posing depending on the situation. As a friend of mine who passed your article on to me and is a very reputable social scientist said, the man is certainly a narcissist. Frankly, I would think that extreme narcissism and Anti-America is Obama's religion. I see frequent references to the liberal media as the "mainstream media," including today's Patriot Post. We do you DO that? The liberal media is NOT mainstream. Rush Limbaugh still uses that term also, but he also uses the description "drive-by media." To take our sin debt punishment on Himself being put to death for our sin, not His. The perfect lamb of God. Believing, and loving Him for His sacrifice makes us a Child of God's, and spending an eternity with Him in heaven.

Regarding Heaven, given that we in the USA are wealthy,( even the poorest here are wealthy compared to those who live in the slums of India or the bush of Africa) we will have a hard time fitting through the "eye of a needle". So, as it stands now, the vast majority of those who believe they are saved are just fooling themselves.

Furthermore, patriotism is a symptom of be consumed by the world and all it's things. It is purely a worldly thing. Christ and Christians are not of this world. "My kingdom is not of this world" When the devil tried to tempt Christ what did he offer? Unless you are seeking eternal life in Hell, reconsider patriotism.

Are you worried about taxes, give unto Caesar what is Caesars'... The monetary system belongs to the government along with the money. If you have faith, you will not worry about tomorrow because you know that if God the Father provides for the birds he will provide for you to. So don't store up wealth or think about money. I don't think President Obama hates America, at least intentionally. I don't think he understands the roots of America; the Christian, church thinking that makes up the foundation of America. Because of this and his orientation toward socialistic programs he has unintentionally moved us further down the path of a "welfare state." Unless we understand the basis for developing the "light of the world. A city on a hill" (quoted by several presidents) we are going nowhere.

Too bad intelligent folks, who do not worship another human being, have to nail this "0" by pointing out all that which is accurate and true about him. As far as Obama or any one else making a profession of faith in Jesus Christ, if it is not a heart belief in the fact that Jesus was born to die for sinners (for we are all sinners as stated in Romans 3:10-12, and Romans 3:23), and a heart's desire to turn from that sinful state and live for Christ, then one day they will stand before a righteous God and hear the words..."I never knew you: depart from me,ye that work iniquity" (Matthew 7:23..read chapter 7:13-23 clear through).

It is not for me or any one else to judge Obama or any one else. It is God's Word that will be the final judge at the Great White Throne judgement. It is my prayer that God will take the blinds from their eyes and help them see the truth of where they do stand in regards to Jesus Christ. He will either be their true Saviour or their just judge.

May I also say that ANYONE can say they believe there is a God. I believe there was also a great man named George Washington. However, he is dead, and is no longer doing anything for our nation. God is NOT dead. He arose from the grave, as was witnessed by many. He sent His Holy Spirit to dwell in the believer's heart, to encourage, strengthen and comfort us. He is alive and well today as He was on the day of His resurrection. He continues to work in the hearts and lives of people. To believe in His birth, death, and resurrection is to believe in a living God. He is 100% God and 100% man. God laid aside His royal robes and came to earth as man, so he could go to a cross, suffering the punishment for our sin that we so rightly deserve and die for us undeserving sinners.

Head belief and HEART belief are two separate things. It can mean the difference between heaven and hell. The Bible says in Romans 10:9-10: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine HEART (my emphasis)that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the HEART(emphasis mine)man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Verse 13 says: "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Please think on this, and make yours HEART belief.

You said that Obama doesn't worship Allah. I disagree. Since he started holding office he has not ONCE held the National Day of Prayer, but has held (and observed)Ramadan in the White House three years in a row.So if he doesn't worship Allah, then maybe he's a secular humanist; meaning he worships himself, thinking he IS the Messiah!

Because he knows who we are and that our God is stronger and more powerful than any god that he can manufacture, including himself. He and they are afraid of us and and our belief in our
