So what if our country goes bankrupt. And, while I am at it, how about means testing social security for the rich. I do not have that much, so I deserve it. And let the rich pay social security taxes on every dollar the greedy pigs earn. They don't need the money. And, I want more medicare benefits.

Mr. Alexander, you've asked what the most important battlefronts for 2012 are and, in my opinion, such a list is woefully too long to post. I guess the best place to start would be to return to the Constitution as the guiding authority for all three branches of government.

Next, begin a HUAC hunt to eradicate leftists from public life. These gutter-citizens used to be generally scorned by the mainstream of America, but somehow they've managed to gain respect.

I am reminded of that movie about Judge Roy Bean which starred Paul Newman. In it, early in the settlement's development, prostitutes abound, but they're seen only as just prostitutes. As the town grows and they begin to marry, the women start behaving as though they have moral authority for the town and, if I recall correctly, there's a moment when Newman's character reacts to the irony of the prostitutes now behaving as though they're moralists. Such are the leftists--they pretend to the moral high ground, but their claim to it is baseless.

It has taken them roughly 100 years to accomplish this in the U.S. Today, they have successfully infected every corner of American life.

The key battles for 2012 are:

1. Stopping the socialist in chief from making appointments claiming the Senate is in recess when they are not - ALL peoples and ALL elected should fight and contain this abuse of power before he thinks he can get away with anything.

2. Stopping obammacare as it's totally unconstitutional and gives the IRS total access to your accounts - they can take what they want andd feel you can pay for your healthcare. Please remember the 1st section of obammacare allows for the hireing of 2600 additional IRS agents.

3. Getting rid of obama, reid, pelose, murtha and every other socialist form both parties.

4. eliminating ALL taxes imposed by obamma and his democratic socialists.

That should be enough for at least the first half of 2012. We need a major conservitive poclicy shift to stop the further encroachment of the socialist agenda.

We need to get Obama out of the White House and re-establish this as "One Nation Under God" as was intended by our forefathers.

My feeling about the biggest battlefront is the special interests. Elections should be funded by the people only. Every year at income tax time a certain amount of income should go to funding campaigns. No matter which office you are running for each specific one whether that be assembly, senate, state or federal level, should be given the exact amount of funds and limited to one year before the election. My money elected you, you work for me, not the unions, big corporations, etc.

With all the problems you mentioned, and you are still not convinced Ron Paul should be our president? For one thing he is honest. In Washington that is an extremely rare attribute. He is the only top tier candidate serious about our deficit. He is also true to the constitution you claim to be so important. If it is so important, why not support a candidate who will uphold it? Fine column! Speaking of the "relentless assaults of those who would replace the Rule of Law with the rule of men," have you seen the Dept of Justice website lately? Look at the quote at the top of the page. It makes your point quite well. The dark color scheme is also troubling and foreboding.

It should be clear by now that we may end up with Barack Obama again as president or we have a Republican president who will not reverse the statist course our government has taken. The way out of this situation depends on the will of the US Senate as much as any other way.

Then, our challenge in 2012 must be that of building a conservative senate. The people of every state in the union must be turned toward voting for only those candidates for the Senate who are most conservative.

We must cut (really cut not just cut down on future spending amounts) spending and the government by 10% immediately. There has to be a freeze on government hiring for 5 years. Attrition will cause the government to shrink. Yes, it will hurt now but not as much as it will hurt if we keep on the same path. The government needs to set the example of living within its means.

In the coming year, without waiting for the election, there has to be a way to stop Obama from running the US like dictator in a banana republic. What more does he have to do before impeachment proceedings are begun. Is the Congress going to continue to look the other way every time he defies the rule of law and the Constitution to the ruination of the country?

What is the main battle we face? In summary, the same as for all men, for all time, we fight to be free from the control of other men and determine our own destiny. I have long believed in your battlefield analogy and I would suggest the enemy is breaking through our lines not because they have superior ideas, but because most of our side do not realize they are even at war. The rise of Tea Party activists is the most encouraging sign I have seen in my lifetime and the momentum must continue.

The main battle is to get American Patriots off the couch an into the game. We have superior numbers and can outvote the other side if everyone would show up.

IF we can fire Obama and enough Democrats and replace them with the right people we should first repeal all of the Socialist policies they passed, then begin dismantling the socialist bureaucracy they have built.

IF we get to the point where we have stabilized the direct threat to the Republic, the next thing I would do is begin working on removing the extensive ministries of propaganda and begin restoring Truth. This would involve gutting the department of education and all government involvement in higher education. All Colleges must be forced to survive in the free market, not propped up by the student grant/loan ponzi scheme; we are paying for the tools of our own destruction. We must also somehow re-institute teaching Biblical principles and correct American History to our youth and all citizens so there can be a proper understanding of how to be a freeman, not a ward of the state. Without a moral, literate citizenry, our form of Government cannot survive.

These people are deeply entrenched in the status quo and realistically, this type of change will be impossible without God's intervention. Our government is a reflection of the citizenry and right now we are honestly getting what we deserve. The more people turn from God, the more they will look to government as their savior and the faster they will run towards the destruction of their freedom. We must humble ourselves, pray, seek His face and each turn from our own wickedness. I continue to be amazed by the fact that our country voted Obama in 3 years ago. I truly fear for our country if we do not turn this thing around. And I feel sorry for our children if we do not.

I am into my fourth book on Obummer and the latter says, "even if it conclusively determined that Obama is illegal, the congress and the courts do not have the will power to remove him." The battle to strangle the US economy has been waged by mostly Democratic special interest groups for over 40 years now. It has one key common denominator - increasing the cost of products and services through regulation from unelected government agencies. All in the name of helping save, improve, protect, ...take your pick of nice sounding words and phrases.

Cheap energy allows people to spend money on other goods and services, which creates jobs for other people. More and more people become employed to provide other goods and services creating a snowball effect. Here is the part the government likes - all these people pay taxes. Tax revenue increases. Combine this with responsible spending and our financial problems will be greatly diminished.

Elect responsible Conservative candidates with the intestinal fortitude to do what is best for the American people.

The ability afforded federal agents by the Patriot Act to snoop on Americans without warrants, and the ability the recently passed NDAA provisions 1031 and 1032 gives them to go around the due process clause of the fifth amendment in arresting and detaining American citizens, is most alarming, and even more so seeing that the overwhelming majority of Congress and the Senate voted for both of these assaults on the Bill of Rights. If the protection of our right to privacy, and our right to not have our life, liberty and property taken without due process of law are removed, what is left?

I am involved in operating a supermarket and hardware store in the High Desert of So. Calif. Three others and I do this in obedience to God, we hope and believe. Our service couldn't be more basic: the daily needs of food and hardware, and our involvement with our community couldn't be more "grass-roots".

What we see happening to our culture is very distressing. We see and experience first-hand the dumbing down of our citizens, and their descent into gross self-indulgence, ignorance of our nation's history, and lack of awareness and especially thankfulness for what they have been given by so many who have given their lives, either in death or terrible injury. Young people slouch through our store, pants over their butts or bellies bulging, oblivious to anything around them except their I-Pod or Phone. Mothers drag dirty kids around, sometimes with a male alongside, who may or may not be the father of one or all of the kids. Many, many people use food stamps and WIC vouchers, distressing our cashiers and others who must wait on these lost and ungrateful dependents who feel entitled to these benefits paid for with OUR money. And since food stamps and welfare benefits are now on a combined ATM-like card, the cash side can buy the beer and cigarettes that the food side cannot.

At the other end of our business spectrum, we are fighting suffocating government control in this already-socialist state of California. There are 700 new laws taking effect in 2012 alone!! If others fortunate enough to live in "sensible" states want to see where the US is headed, just come to California for a preview. Workers Compensation, health insurance, "fees", taxes, and new rules are heading North full steam ahead, while sales are heading South as people leave or lose income, mostly due to the socialist policies coming at us.

We couldn't agree more with Mark's confession of his struggle to keep the wolves at bay and stay thankful for the God-given mission. It's a challenge directly from the Spirit.

All of this is to say that we believe that the "colossal battlefronts", and the "smaller battlefronts" need to move ahead, but the underlying rot of the culture will ensure their failure unless this ultra-colossal battlefront is addressed along with the others. If we do not break the stranglehold of the education-union-entertainment-lawyer-Ruling Class cabal; if we do not start to truly educate our children; if we do not dismantle bureaucracies that keep people dumbed down and dependent -- forget the bigger battles. If we do not honor the miracle of this nation's founding on God-given principles inspired by the Holy Spirit, we are doomed.

We grow more and more convinced that it's too late, but the Holy Spirit tells us to be thankful, as Mark stressed, and to fight the battle as we can. We do get tired and have dour spirits at times, but we are committed to keep up the fight.

We who are blessed to live in this nation are OBLIGATED to do our part in this battle, even to the point of shedding our blood.

Where to begin when listing our "critical" battlefields? So many of our national policies are an affront to the One who blessed us with Liberty, we might do well to consider what might be His priorities:

1. Murder of the unborn is considered lawful.

2. We use "false weights and measures" in our currency which is an instrument of debt though we are told it is a store of wealth.

3. Many of those who take an oath before God to support and defend the Constitution are liars.

4. Those who elect liars to places of power are unworthy of being free men.

5. Our system of justice is perverted by those who prostitute themselves to promote a political agenda.

6. Our culture now tends to call evil good and good evil.

7. We have forgotten or failed to defend the truth that, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord".

The assault on the SECOND AMENDMENT is # 1 to me - without the means of self protection from despots (government included)OUR REPUBLIC is doomed!

"We The People" have the most important batttle for our nation, our bill of rights. our nation. To turn the focus of this nation back to NOT the financial crisis, NOT the drought conditions or other natural disasters, and NOT to "saving the environment", rather back to worshiping Jesus Christ. The most important battle is defeating the Obama Regime. Then reducing the size of Government, weening the leeches from the public trough, both gov.employees and private citizenry. Then we can work on all the laws and regs that discourage the free market. These things will automatically reduce spending to a manageable level..

My mosy important issue? Gun control. With Mr. Obama back in the White House come 2012, and should the Democrats come anywhere near regaining control, I see a massive push toward the banning of many firearms, if not all.

As Mr. Obama has bypased the Congress on more than one occasion, it would not surprise me if he tried a gun ban of some sort by executive order.

It’s time for our elected officials to tell these federal judges to enforce their own edicts. What’s unconstitutional with the other two branches of government (lets add the states here as well) declaring a judicial decision unconstitutional? The founding fathers never intended for the federal judiciary to have the power they abuse today.

A conservative estimate would be 75% of federal judges need to be removed, NOW.

I want to see a conservative candidate for president go hell bent for leather to remove progressive (marxist) judges. The progressive ‘skuballa’ has not come from the legislature, it has, and is still gushing from the federal benches.

2- No retirement packages for memebers of Congress.

4- Pass a Balanced Budget Amendment.

Most important job this year is retiring Obama from the job of President of the United States.

The citizen is not up to his repsonsibilities. He is lacking in moral fibre, undisciplined, has little verve, the basic desires control him and not the reverse, his energy is bottled-up and his mind closed to anything beyond his rooms. He might as well be in prison.

This inadequate, cowardly man is a product of the policies and teachings of the servants of governments over more than half a century. These governments are made up of politicians who have sold their souls; they have no honour left.

My concern is the decline or religion and its positive values in our Country. No prayer in schools, and many other religious items being challenged or removed. I think we will need to elect a President that cares about America and the needs of the american people. We presently have a president that is leading us down the tubes and cares less about what the American people want or need. If Obama is re-elected, I am afraid that we will be in for a big fall that we will not be able to withstand.

Task number one MUSt be removal of the current occupant of the White House.

Second, we must restore the rule of law and abiding respect for our constitution.

Third , we must control congress's propensity to spend taxpayer's dollars in order to assure another term through buying of votes.

Fourth, downsize governmen to a workable size - say 25% smaller - with responsibilites clearly outlined AND ENFORCED. Bring govnement bureaucrat salaries and benefits at least in line with similar positions in the Private Sector.

Fifth - Either a complete re-write or elimination of the IRS Tax Code with replacement by some form of flat tax.

The primary front is as you suggest, the economy. A major part of our economic problems outside of government spending is our energy policy.

Since Obama has gone into office, gigantic natural gas resources have been discovered, and are starting to be developed.

There is enough natural gas to convert every coal fired power plant, auto, bus, and truck to natural gas and supply our country for a century. That move alone would also lower our pollution by more than the standard environmentalists are seeking.

We have another development, the Keystone XL pipeline project, which would make 20,000 construction jobs immediately available, eliminate our dependence on middle eastern oil, and provide a reliable energy source until we can utilize our own resources.

The states where the shale oil developments are taking place have the lowest unemplotyment rates in the country. If we were to work agressively to become energy independent within 5 years, millions of US jobs would be created, our balance of payments problems would improve, as would our strategic position.

We are prevented from achieving these goals by a president who is pushing the failed energy policies of the past to "Invest" in a "Portfolio" of hand picked Green energy projects. He is following that policy to appease a small minority of environmentalists, who are among the democrats "Special" interest groups.

It is time we had a government that represents only one special interest group; citizens.

We need to keep Obama from taking credit (with the help of the media) for increasing jobs and for the debacle of HARP 2, his newest idea to take money from the rich and give it to others. Such a blatant grab for votes makes me nauseous! He can't be allowed to do this! Where are the Republicans??

1. If we want Obama out of office, we must all get behind the Republican nominee, whoever he is. And help get people to the polling booths.

2. Elect more conservatives to Congress and state and local offices.

3. Get our own households in order.

The most important battlefront will be getting the supreme court to start ruling on these worthless antiAmerican laws that obama is putting in place. Americans MUST defeat the Obama Administration this year. The attack on the Constitution is unending and must be stopped.

Although it is not in the forefront of issues, I believe that the most damaging to our Constitution and our Rights is "runamuck" Judges. Yes the Economy is very important, but what does it matter if we have a fabulous economy if we're not free to experience it. Even though the media made a big "TO DO" about Gingrich's comments on holding Judges accountable and abolishing the 9th Circuit Court--He is correct about that and about taking the Judges head on. The Judges are accountable to Congress--they are not isolated and unaccountable, yet they operate as if they are.

Everything that's happening to our Country and Government is frightening. Shariah Law being valid in the US Courts is coming soon,

All Patriots should learn about the FairTax and get behind its enactment. The Founders abhored direct taxes and did not originally allow them. Alexander Hamilton was for taxing consumption to support the limited government they envisioned (Federalist 21). Considering the tax mess we're experiencing today, they would support the FairTax as the best method for getting our tax collection system in order and the only viable process for reducing taxation in the long term.

Two imperitive's for 2012 have to be realized or this country will not survive into the next presidential election cycle. Replace gutless congressional officials with a hard driving zeal to once gain make America what God and our founders intended it to be.

The most important imperative for 2012 is to rid our nation of the evil that emanates out from the White House by the election process or impeachment proceedings that should have begun earlier this year.

It is most important for Republicans to unify behind one candidate. This continued in-fighting is giving ammunition to Obama's re-election bid and making it more difficult for us to reunite. Our candidate may not be perfect but he will be better than Obama. This intra-party struggle is hurting our chances.

The most important issue in this country is spiritual.

The problem is we have forgotten our God, the Lord Jesus Christ. Patriots are still clinging on but, assaulted on every side. Abortion, disarmament(2nd amendment), government schools(no Bible), LBGT(proper term-sodomites), government handouts to those who refuse to work, retirement schemes totally out of touch with reality(congress members and so on), and every other nonsensical thing that is happening in government circles. Our eyes are being distracted from setting them upon our Saviour, seeking his mercy. You see, our responsibility as Christians(the higher calling of a patriot)we have failed miserably. We now have a society of agnostics(no-nothings) who believe in their own opinions as their god in all matters of FAITH and practice. Nothing is higher than their own opinion, no matter how wrong it is. Talk to Christians and you will find a large portion of them think along the same lines, disagreeing with the Book they profess to believe. How will a nation recover from sin? All nations that forget God SHALL be turned into hell! We need to begin to repent in our churches and ask God for forgiveness and direction in what he wants, not what program we want. The future looks less than bleak to me but, I know this world is not my home. Jesus Christ said "OCCUPY til I come". Why is it slothful bums have decided to take over Christians rightful place (no, not 'camping' illegally)? Preach the gospel(do you remember it?). It is truly politically incorrect!

6. Stop paying people to like us.

In response to Mr. Alexanders dearly departed friend who served and suffered for his nation during the Vietnam War era. I have observed over the years that many brave Americans feel duty bound to put themselves in harms way in payment for what this great nation has provided them during their formative years.

On the other side of the coin, many cowards choose to hide behind the authority of elected office to belittle and besmirch the honor of the heroes that have given their all. Two recently elected cowards come to mind and both happen to be smug, arrogan, hypocrital, lying left-wing ideologues bent on destroying the perfect societal experiment. As for the latest coward, and cowards below him, let's go to the polls in mass to pick these curs up by the scruff of their neck and apply size whatevers to their backsides in a symbolically swift kick out the door. I am very concerned at the signs that Obama is setting himself up to be a dictator over us by circumventing Congress, and going against the Constitution. Return to CONSTITUTIONAL Authority and Rule of Law. Replace Congressional liberals/socialists with men and women who live by their oaths and defend conservative values.

You mention in passing our third arm of Government- the Federal Courts. Gingrich has been pilloried for suggesting that judges might be called before Congress to explain their actions. He really ought

to be applauded His Contract with America 2012 Section 9 and appendix are worth everyone's attention. I say that after 49 years of practicing law in Wash. and New York. It appears that the populace at large holds the view that our federal Court system and the Supreme Court can manipulate the Constitution or indeed ignore it as they please and their constructed decisions will have equal standing with the Constitution's and Amendments" provisions very words and are definitive and beyond attack. Even the Supreme Courts self serving delcaration to that effect did not come intop being until Cooper v Aaron (1958) 358 US 1. The bald assertion in that case wasnot necessary to the decision but is merely dicta. it does not accurately state the the rule of law of he earlier case relied. As the cited Contract document asserts determinations of the Supreme court do not have the same standing ass the language of the Constitution and Amendments. The Court has overturned about 100 of its own rulings on Constitutional issues. Gingrich posits a a lot of history and a lot of mechanisms by which the Courts can be restored to their proper limited function. The piece is well worth reading. I attended the same law school( class of '57) as our present attorney general. Even wehnI was there I was taught that the most effective and swift way to " social justice" was through the Courts and

It seems to me that the primary battlefronts are the same as they have been all along; we've just lost sight of them from time to time...for too long. They are overcoming ignorance of the history of our nation and ignorance of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. In large, these are malignant ignorances, borne of a willingness to be so. They are closely linked, not separate as some would believe. The writings of George Washington, Patrick Henry, John Adams, and a multitude of other of our founding fathers attest to this truth.

Some years ago, I heard a well known preacher tell of a Gospel tent meeting in the 1950s, at which a famous movie star visited out of curiosity. A Bible student asked her if she was a Christian, and she replied that she was because she was an American.

Now, even though the formation of our nation was reliant upon the doctrine of Christ and of the Bible, the two things are different things, of course. The point is that the movie star's statement shows that our nation and Christianity were still considered indistinct even as late as the mid-twentieth century.

The domestic enemies of our nation thrive upon these ignorances. They depend upon them. They build upon them. This is truly a battle for the souls of men, and especially of our youth.

My two most important battlefronts are the Leftist/RINO assault on our 2d Amendment rights as Americans and the 1st Amendment right to speak and worship as we please in the name of Jesus Christ, praising Him aloud and preaching His Holy Word as it is given to us by the Holy Spirit.

I feel there are two extremely important battlefields that receive very little attention. The first battlefield is the battle for the family unit. Children "learn" that generational welfare IS a way of life. They are "taught" to be passive and allow the government to support them. They are not held accountable for their actions as there is always an excuse made or a reason given for their unacceptable behaviors. Too many government regulations are jeopardizing parental rights and parental authority. Family services can intervene when reports are made concerning parents who punished their child by spanking. (I DO NOT condone beating a child, and there IS a difference between the two. I KNOW that with most kids there is a direct connection between the bottom and the brain!) The idea that the definition of marriage can be decided by a "judge" (even after the majority of citizens have voted OPPOSITE of that judge's decision) REALLY terrifies me!

Schools are another battlefield. Much to the dismay of many of the teachers,children are NOT learning what they need to learn to be productive, viable, successful citizens. Our history classes are full of distorted "facts; lies are being passed on as truth; students are not taught to respect our country, our founding fathers, our flag. The almighty "state test" has become the focal point instead of educating young people, and teachers are helpless when it comes to changing that. We are dumbing down our curriculum so everyone can feel "successful". Pardon me, but real life does not always afford or guarantee success. Where better to learn about failure than in school?

I know that politics, terrorism, wars, socialism, communism are all viable battlegrounds, but people, if we don't get control of our families and our schools, our demise will NOT come from without.........it will come from within.

The most important battlefront for 2012 is the keyboard under my fingers. From here, along with a few steady, true, like minded writers I send letters to the editor to our local free paper, The laconia Daily Sun,defending our God given rights from university professors and progressive liberals. Battlefronts everywhere!!

A major battle will be to keep the elections from being stolen through amnesty and non-citizen or dead citizen voting, George Soros's computerized voting machines, and/or Obama using his police state powers (HR 1897 just passed) to round-up right wing conservative voters and returning Vets and detain them without due process (remember Janet Napolitano determined early on we were on the Homeland Security terrorist watch list). America must get true conservative, country-loving Americans elected to the Senate and the Presidency/Administration or we are done for as a free country. Obama may even be revving up a war, Israel-America vs. Iran, for the purpose of keeping his job. Presidents usually aren't unseated during war times.

Another battlefront is the economy. It can be cured by putting an end to spending. We must repeal Obamacare (a bill of new taxes and intrusions into citizen's lives) and stop stimulus spending and bailouts. We must get publicly elected people to do the job of the Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury. Our money is being highjacked by traitors to this country. We must also stop the jobs from going overseas. Maybe a 25%tax on the imports from those companies. For every company leaving, the folks left behind need to be assisted somehow to form a new company doing the same business. People need to be encouraged to Buy American, even if the cost is slightly higher. I just received an email regarding American Suppliers for the home building business. It was determined that buying American built materials to build a house was only about 1% higher than buying foreign made materials. A list of the suppliers for everything, sinks, nails, fixtures, etc going into a house is furnished on a website.

We must stop the military and defense industry from being stripped to the point America is indefensible. And, we must throw our enemies in sensitive government jobs out! We have Muslim Brotherhood members in positions requiring top security clearance. We have one in the state department. We have one or two in Homeland Security.

We need to close our borders to stop terrorists and drug trafficing. We need to stop immigration for a while until we have a need for workers.

We need to stop encouraging multi-culturalism and allowing diversity to be more important than safety. Remember the General that said on TV after the Fort Hood massacre, that diversity was more important that weeding out potential traitors/murderers. I always though UNITY was more important than diversity. "United We Stand, Divided We Fall."

We must bring our allegiance back to the God of our founding fathers and to our constitution. We must stop the slaughter of the unborn and we must go back to "Don't Ask, Don't Tell. We must protect marriage as God ordained...a covenant between a man and a woman. If gays want to live together, that is their business. If companies want to provide benefits to the significant other of a gay employee...as they do spouses, that is their business (but it's not marriage).

We must get rid of the regulatory agencies/commissions that aren't needed. We don't need an National Education Agency and an Environmental Protection Agency. The things they do can be accomplished at the states and local levels. With regard to work the EPA does, some local governments will be lenient with codes and restrictions and some will be strict. Businesses and people will relocate accordingly.

We need to do something about the Department of Energy. Maybe get rid of it and let local governments rule. We have got to tap our national resources and stop the dependence on foreigh countries. We need to build new refineries.

We may be able to do away with the department of commerce. We must get lean with federal jobs...pass them on local governments.

We should abolish the current income tax system and have a flat rate for all. But not enact another tax until the first is gone!!

It is so tiring to think how far down the road we have gone toward destruction ... and how much must be constantly watched and fought to get our country back!!

First on the agenda would be the defeat of Obama in the election in November. Then we have to appeal and overturn Obamacare. I believe a flat tax would help our economy. We need to take our country back and run it according to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

I believe we must narrow our focus to 'Constitutional Government' issued. For now, we need to subordinate all the social issues until we regain control of our government. We must pressure our closest link to the federal government, our Senators and Representatives, to take back their co-equal authority and responsibilities and not pass these off to the administration. They have willingly allowed the executive branch to usurp many of their authority and failed to challenge the Courts when they clearly rule contrary to obvious constitutional law. We have got to respect the Constitution before we can solve any of these other problems.

The MOST important thing in 2012 is to defeat the current, dictatorial regime(s)in the White House and in both chambers of Congress.

The "Most Important Battle Fronts of 2012" are these;

1. Get Barack Hussein Muhammad Obama & his Hypocrite spouse out of OUR White House, A.S.A.P.!!!

2. Clean out the Congress, the Senate & all other departments in this present administration, of ALL Obama supporters & those INCOMPETENTS hired by Obama! Ie. Holder, Cho, Sustein, Oh, Napolitano, Kagan, Sotomayor, Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, McCarthy, Feinstein, Boxer, Rush, Cardin, Mikulski, Conyers, Cummings, Rangle, Waters, Kerry, Clinton, Biden, Frankle, Fwank, (Frank) Dodd, Laughtenberg, Nadler & anyone else you can think of! Please add to the list!

3. Pass "Term Limit" legislation for ALL Congress Persons & the Senators. Two, (if your competent) Four Year Terms. Just like the Presidency!

4. Halt ALL TAX PAYER FUNDED, Federal Foreign Aid to All the 150 countries out of the 192 on this planet that we give Foreign Aid to. That includes our REAL, TRUE ALLIES. We can explain to them why later.

Take that 14.5 BILLION TAX PAYER DOLLARS PER YEAR & make Damn sure that EVERY Good, Decent, Legal, Law Abiding, Hard Working, Justly Retired, American citizen has decent food on their table, decent clothes on their back, a decent roof over their head, a decent job, a decent education, decent transportation (even if it's public trans,) & decent medical coverage. (NOT OBAMA-SCARE)

Then put those same Americans to work (you work, you eat. If not, that's your choice. Live/die with it) fixing our decrepit, decaying Infra-Structure. Ie. Roads, Bridges, Rail Ways, Air Ports, Dams, Oil Drilling Sites, Oil Refineries, Alternate Fuel Companies, (Not Solyndra) Hospitals, Maritime Ports, Public Buildings, Federal Buildings, State Buildings, County Buildings,(Nothing Elaborate) etc.

5. Make our Armed Forces, our National Defense & our Entire country, the MOST POWERFUL, MOST UP TO DATE, MOST RESPECTED, MOST FEARED, (if you're stupid enough to challenge us) MOST GENEROUS to our TRUE ALLIES & the BEST TRAINNED Military/Defense/Nation in the world.

6. Put Arizona Sheriff, Joseph Arpaio in command of ALL Prisons in our country. Give him the Executive Order to empty EVERY Jail/Prison of ALL Death Row inmates. You'll have one month to do so!

Give that Death Row Inmate the choice of his/her demise.

C. Lethal Injection.(The Sissy Way Out)

Dear Patriot Post, thank you for another great article and a reminder to all of us that we are only free because of those willing to stand in harms way. And with today's battle close at hand and the enemy camped among us, only through diligence and devotion to our principles can we sustain each other in this "Crisis".

The most important battlefronts of 2012 are the ignorance of the citizentry and the lack of efforts to provide clear abd concise explantations of the basics of a free enterprise system of government. the candidates need to go back to the Ross Perot flip chart method of providing the public with an explanation of how capitalism workds and how it is the root of the exceptionalism of our great country.they should not be hesitant of declaring America a s being the most successful government/society in history, and then illustrating how that came about and must be protected. the baszic elements of the Consitution needs to be explained. Pride in America must be revitalised.

I think the onslaught of the homosexual agenda is a real threat to our religious liberty, freedom of speech, freedom of property, and freedom of conscience. Just ask the homosexual activist "Where is the line between having a legitimate opinion opposing homosexuality and being a homophobe. There is no line. To disagree with and oppose their agenda in any way makes you a homophobe. They will tolerate no disagreement with their agenda. American was built on and has had differing opinions on every issue throughout our history but this will be no more if the homosexual agenda continues to advance. They want those who oppose them to be in the closet.

I am always happy to say that I'm not a member of the "society of them who've been shot at", but I chose service over grad school in 1957. The draft was idle, we had no active wars - plus I was technically 4F due to polio in 1945. I faked the physical and got into Marine Air, but realized I'd never get through physical training. I went to Naval OCS and went surface Navy (less physical demands). Three years of destroyer life in the North Atlantic, Med, and Persian Gulf - not shot at but Mother Nature was a pretty good opponent.

This is not meant as a boast, but perhaps it is. We should not only honor those who have been shot at, but also those willing to go even when there is no need. Here's to all who have chosen to serve, and to those who served well even if drafted. Pilots aren't drafted, they are volunteers. Here's to Roger. But I tip my glass to the drafted grunts as well. And, if I may be proud, I'll take a wee sip to myself for finding a way to serve my country, no way I could have gotten through escape and evasion pilot training with the polio leg - but I found my place.

One last thing, on pilots. Destroyers served in part as "plane guards" for the carriers. We steamed behind them to collect the "misses" from the water, we steamed alongside them to provide an orientation for the pilot to make his turn from downwind to upwind. Films don't really show the danger of each carrier landing, they would come over our masthead and turn their wings to near vertical to make a continuous turning approach. Even the most seasoned of seamen would catch their breaths at that time, then one could feel the joint release of breath when the tail hook caught. The ordinary squid was in the cockpit with the pilot, and rooting for him.

That is the sense of service, the unity of the men in their support of each other, whatever their assigned duty.

Having served in the United States Army, I fully understand the concept and context of 'Combat' and 'Battle'. What I don't understand is the application of these terms to a bunch of lip service, yammering, dithering, as well as any number of other examples of attempted reasoning in futility in the face of blatant attack that we face as a nation and populace. The very definition of 'Fight, combat, battle, et al...' defies the aforementioned incessant dithering and yammering. Let's work to get the nomenclature correct in the future. The Founders didn't engage in dithering and yammering to win our freedom and liberty. They engaged in actual combat. Killing the enemy with weapons fire...not words.

Restore our basic Christian morality and the need for everyone to have a decent paying job. Only then will our country be grat again.

What really aggrivates me are the people who use the cop-out of 'Not Having Time' to research topics. This is nothing more than laziness and half-hearted patriotism. I work full time, and am involved in various volunteer pursuits, as well as a family man. I just give up an hour of TV time, and then sleep a couple hours less a day and use those gained hours to research political issues. It's all a matter of priorities. There is no excuse for not being informed these days. You either are a Patriot, or you are not. There is no middle ground any longer.

First and foremost, the biggest problem is the violations of the Constitution. That will be the hardest problem to remedy. Second, government spending. Third, entitlements. This is part of the Constitutional issue since entitlements are unconstitutional.

I live in Carson City, NV. One reason we moved here was my wife's cousin. Her second husband was one of the youngest AF pilots at 20. He flew F100's with a nuclear target of Leningrad. We have many battle fronts that we must face and defeat in 2012 and beyond. We first must be defenders and guardians of our Constitution and bill of rights. We must be vigilent at all times. We must usher out all those within our government who would disavow and trample on our rights and freedoms.Now, until the 2012 elections, then we must vote out the socialist Obama and his regime. ALL our elected leaders must be held accountable for their actions, jailed for their actions, or, hanged for their treason. Liberty was hard fought for by our forefathers and we must continue the fight. We have an obligation to monitor what is taught our children in schools and by other means. We have examples today with the so called patroit act that is very flawed and is a great cause for concern. We must demand that voter rights are not abused, simply by not being intimidated by union thugs and others. Photo Identification MUST be respected and demanded at the polls. Any LEGAL citizen citizen can get an I.D. with proper documents. Lastly, regardless of party affilitation, we must remove RINO'S and socialist democrats from their cushy jobs.

With American corporate cash reserves at or near peak levels, doesn't it stand to reason that if Obama really is trying to lead us down the road to socialism, then at the very least he's doing a piss-poor job of it?

Defeat the progressives in the House, Senate and the President in order to turn this countryaround with social and physical conservatism. Get our citizens back to work with lower taxes on business. No more crony capitalism, if companies are to big to fail, private or governmental break them up into smaller groups that are small enough to succeed or fail without government intervention like all other businesses. Then capitalism will work for all the citizens. Get corruption and fraud out of politics and balance the budget. This would be a GREAT START.

The first objective must be the defeat of Pres Obama. While I lhave my own preference regarding who would be best ,I think that any of the current contenders excluding Paul and Huntsman would be an improvement. Forest Gump or Gomer Pyle would be a suitable replacement inasmuch as they did not get a Juris Doctor Degree from Harvard, Yale or Princeton and did wear the uniform of our country in its defense.

It is my prayer that our exposure to Socialism during the current administration (though it has been in process for many years) will not be like a positive exposure to AIDS. However like HIV , it will be a lifelong battle in itself.

My concerns are these:

1.rising energy costs leaving less for necessaties such as food, clothing

2. requiring everyone to have health insurance

3. EPA regulations, which hurt all of us - including Agenda 21 and sustainable development ideals

4. NLRB agenda siding with unions vs right to work

5. failure of Congress to rein in wasteful spending and balance the budget

6. socialist ideals that are being advanced by this current regime, and loss of individual freedoms

7. the push for government intervention/control in every aspect of our lives - cars, lightbulbs, banks, mortgages, food we eat, education of our children,

All of Washington needs to be replaced. They need to cut their pay, have to draw social security, and live like regular Americans. We vote them in office to work for us the American people. The United States of America needs to return to the standards of conduct that our founding fathers establish at our begining. We need to return to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, study them in the context of what our founders believed. We need to teach them in our schools. We need to teach from the same book that they used, the Bible.

The first and foremost principal is that we are "One Nation, under God." We must ensure that He is the center most point in our government, our homes and our churches.

Other people from other nations flock to this country because of what we had become. We are the envy of the world. We got here because God lead and directed our founders and we served Him. The new people coming to enjoy what we have, have brought with them their gods and they are in direct opposition to our God. They are welcome to come and enjoy what we have, BUT they must not destroy what we have.

The Tenth Amendment, states rights and sovereignty. The states and the people have all the rights according to the Constitution. We have to convince ourselves of that fact. The states should do what they have to do and ignore the Federal Government. states should use nullification.

Undoing all the damage the Obama Administration has done to America's liberty and economy.

1) Reduce the size of the Federal Government

2) Reduce the regulatory power of the Feds to the limiting power of the Constitution

3) End the perks of elected officials - make governance positions unpopular - no more than one time "at bat" in any position

4) Increase freedom, increase personal responsibility by reducing transfer payments and programs
