The Right Opinion
Time to Get Mad
Why aren't you mad as hell yet, America?
What will it take?
At home, unemployment is stuck above 8 percent. Twenty-three million are out of work. Millions of others have given up looking for jobs.
One American in six is on food stamps. Small businesses are terrified of Obamacare.
The economy ran out of gas four years ago and the president still thinks the only way to get it going again is to fill up the tank with trillions of dollars of debt and make successful people pay for the tow truck.
Overseas, we have a dead ambassador and three other dead Americans in Libya. Dozens of our embassies are being threatened by mobs.
Iran is building a nuke. Syria is mired in a bloody civil war. Egypt's new democracy is turning against us. And our Middle East policy -- if that's what it can be called -- is based on apologies and weakness.
Meanwhile, what does President "Eye Candy" do this week? He goes before the United Nations and can't bring himself to even mention the words "Islamic extremists." He's still blaming the attack on our Libyan embassy on a stupid film.
As the Middle East burns, Obama says he didn't have time to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu or other world leaders in New York City. Yet he had plenty of time to do the Letterman show and drop in to see Whoopi and the gals at "The View."
How much worse does it have to get before a majority of the American people wake up, throw open their windows and scream, "We're mad as hell and we're not going to take this crap anymore?"
In the movie "Network," news anchor Howard Beale said people first had to get mad before things would change.
So let's get mad, America, and change presidents. There are fewer than 1,000 hours between now and the election that can save us from four more years of Obamamisery.
Mitt Romney is the change we need -- and the only chance we have. But in their perverse way of thinking, the Obama Gang wants the American people to believe Romney is a bad guy for creating wealth and being a successful businessman.
Americans are supposed to be angry with Romney for paying "only" 14 percent in taxes or reducing his federal tax bite by giving $4 million to charity in 2011.
But there's no reason for the American people to be mad at Mitt. He's a good guy, a great American, and he's eminently qualified to repair the damage Obama has done to the country.
But if Mitt's going to win, he's got to have a Ronald Reagan moment.
My father turned his fortunes around in the 1980 New Hampshire primary after the moderator of a scheduled debate in Nashua ordered his microphone to be turned off.
My father's angry response -- "I'm paying for this microphone, Mr. Green" -- became a symbolic act that established his image, showed his strong character and led to a landslide win that knocked George H.W. Bush out of the presidential race.
Mitt Romney needs to have his own "Nashua Moment" -- and have it soon. A perfect time for it to happen would be next week (Wednesday, Oct. 3) in front of 50 or 60 million people during the first presidential debate.
Mitt needs to show us how angry he is at what Obama has done to America. He needs to show us he's as "mad as hell" and can't take it for another four years.
Come on, Mitt -- get as mad as the rest of us.

"Mad hatter, madman Ahmadenijad, mad about you,"---yes Michael we are there with you, and the Heritage Foundation!! I sing Tea Party songs while walking, to/from work. I step onto my soapbox to preach about the benefits of FREE PEOPLE & FREE MARKETS. I've written more than 600 handwritten letters, to liberal Senators, and Congressmen/women. My wife is almost ready to send ME, to Chicago, if I don't ratchet things down, here in bankrupt, entitlement-state, New Yark!

Michael Reagan and most conservative shills are the clowns trying to distract attention from the disaster known as the Romney campaign.
Yesterday Romney provided another gaffe. Stung by criticism that his (Ryan's) budget numbers don't add up to his promised results, he tells the crowd "“By the way, don’t be expecting a huge cut in taxes, because I’m also going to lower deductions and exemptions,”
Those deductions include socialist programs for home ownership such as mortgage interest deductions, charitable giving deductions, health insurance deductions for business and etc. Now it's time to get mad. Where's Mac?

Deflect, Deny, and Counter Accuse, the playbook of the insane liberal mind, on full display by the Sodomite from Yakima. What you fail to do in your delusional rant queer Greg, is come up with any facts to argue against the points of the article. Name calling and fantasy arguement wont ever be seen as anything other than delusion from you. You are a waste of skin, the human race, and America would be better off without your treason.

Kathy, Stay mad and encourage everyone you know who thinks the way you do to make sure they vote in Nov. I am not sure anything we say will convince the liberals that we are going down the wrong road.

I speak of this all the time and now just talk with people who are of a like mind. My motto is now and forevermore "DON'T TREAD ON ME!" Because this administration and its feckless leader have done so to us Americans it's time to strike at the heel.

Mr. Reagan is quite right, it is about time we ALL had a Howard Beale moment! Mr. Reagan is also quite right that Mitt Romney is now our only chance to repair the damage that the President and his liberals have done, (intentionally by the way), to our country! Mitt Romney is NOT the candidate I would’ve chosen to run against the President this year, once again the Republican Party gave in to the fear that they have exhibited since Barack Obama was elected. The party continues to be afraid that someone who stands up for conservative principles can’t get elected. The party leaders in Congress have consistently exhibited their fear of the President and his liberals! Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy, Price, and the thoroughly incompetent Hensarling in the House, and McConnell, Thune, Barrasso, and the thoroughly incompetent Kyl in the Senate, have consistently compromised with the President and his liberals since the beginning.
If Boehner were really, “mad as hell”, he would have impeached the President by now, there certainly have been enough incidents where the President has violated the Constitution to warrant impeachment! If McConnell were really “mad as hell”, he would be on the Senate floor on a daily basis, demanding that Harry Reid be removed from the Senate and prosecuted for preventing passage of a budget! Unfortunately, for the moment, we are stuck with the current Republican leadership. We are also stuck with Mitt Romney as a candidate, I truly hope that if he is elected, Mr. Romney will govern as a true conservative and not just play one on TV. Having Paul Ryan on the ticket is a plus, but we should keep an eye on him as well. I would remind everyone that Paul Ryan voted for the Budget Control Act of 2011, which is without any doubt, one of the most pathetic pieces of legislative twaddle that I have ever seen! If Mitt Romney wins in November, there is a chance for America to avoid becoming like Greece is now, if the President is re-elected, we WILL be where Greece is now BEFORE his 2nd term ends! We all need to become “mad as hell” and stay that way until the politicians in Washington remember that they work for us!

Michael, Romney may listen to you but the chance of one of us little people out here in fly over country getting his attention is pretty small. So, call him. For years the Congress, the Supreme Court, and the WH have been corrupt. How else do you explain no term limits on Congress? And reaching across the aisle compromising with the left? Voting along party lines? Exempting themselves from so many things that affect us little people. The subsidies, the pork, the lies. The GOP may be the lesser of two evils but it is still part of the evil. We're not being represented but we're being overly taxed. It's time govt is shrunk down to about 10% of it's current size. It's time when people on the dole who won't work have to stand in line to get bags of flour and blocks of cheese. I for one am tired of spending part of my right to life supporting other people, especially since the giveaways by both parties are mostly just the corruption of them buying votes. It's time we took our country away from the slugs, leeches, pols, liberals, marxists, unions, yadda yadda. I would hate to see this country burned down but from fire comes new growth and there are lots of us that think we have suffered enough. How can I explain patriotism to my grandchildren with hollow words devoid of action. America is lost, the govt stole it from us, it's rightful owners, and it's getting very close to being time to take it back.
