Why Fentanyl Is Killing So Many Americans
October 26, 2022
About this video
Over 100,000 people in the United States died from drug overdoses and poisonings last year. Of those deaths, around 70% were from synthetic opioids, such as fentanyl. In 2021, Texas law enforcement seized around 342 million lethal doses of fentanyl, enough to kill every man, woman, and child in the United States.
Samantha Aschieris of The Daily Signal argues that responsible actors like China need to be held accountable for their malicious relationship with Mexican drug cartels. The Biden administration’s seemingly open-border policies have only exacerbated the flow of these deadly narcotics into the U.S.
