Re: Why Everyone Hates McConnell

“Those Supreme Court wins are a big reason why progressives hate Mitch McConnell. But think about where we would be if Merrick Garland had been made a Supreme Court justice.
That said, it is time for McConnell to retire. Of course, since Kentucky has a Democrat governor, McConnell’s retirement would mean he would be replaced by a Democrat — not good. So maybe the game is for him to remain in the seat until the next election and for Republicans to get to work in Kentucky to pump up a good candidate to replace him. One could hope that is already happening. Tough decisions to be made. Meanwhile, Senate Republicans need to replace McConnell as the minority leader.” —Virginia

Re: Climate Cultists Causing Chaos

“Besides creating a hazardous situation in the desert, the road-blocking Burning Man protestors have wasted hundreds of man-hours of other people’s time, held them against their will, and cost them a significant amount of wasted fuel. After the criminal charges, they should face a class-action lawsuit for damages from everyone in that long line of vehicles.” —Minnesota

Re: The Great Transgender Sports Walk-Back Begins

“For a party that claims to support women, the Dems seem to narrowly define that as consisting solely of being able to murder your baby from conception through birth. They’ve done their best to destroy a lot of gains females have made, especially in sports, and yet their brainless minions continue to go along with them. Apparently, none of them see their daughters as being marginalized, hurt, or humiliated by having to accept a guy in a dress as the competition. It’s heartening to finally see pushback on this issue, since the only way to make the point is for the women involved to stop meekly going along with it. It’s also rewarding to see it coming back to bite the Dems when it never should have started in the first place.” —Pennsylvania

“The issue reported here is ‘fairness to women.’ That’s fine, as far as it goes, but it needs to go further. The issue actually is ‘privacy and safety for women.’ When one male declares as female, the privacy rights and safety of all women disappear.
Women’s prisons are full of women — duh — but let one male convict claim he is now a woman, and he gains entrance to the women’s prison. Therefore, every female inmate loses privacy rights and safety. Every state that mandates open toilets and open public showers to all ‘genders’ cancels the privacy rights and safety of every female in that state.” —Tennessee

Re: Censoring Conservative Pronouns

“People who make the choice to call themselves by non-traditional, non-normal pronouns ARE abnormal. Anybody who is so upset about the way they are made by God is abnormal.” —California

Re: Tennessee Gun Control Confab Concludes — 2A Rights Not Infringed

“None of the proposed legislation would have properly addressed the cause of the Covenant attack, as the contents of the shooter’s manifesto were never released. It’s difficult to address a problem if you don’t know its cause. Fact is, those proposing legislation never noted how it would have prevented that attack or any future attack.” —Kentucky

“The worst laws are those regarding the ‘gun-free zones’ where most mass shootings take place. Those preaching on the coffins of the dead are the same ones seeking to pave the road to their socialist utopia over the bodies of innocent victims.” —Washington

Re: Biden’s Deadly AFG Surrender and Retreat — Never Forget

“Biden’s ill-mannered and ill-timed decision to abandon Afghanistan for political motives was unconscionable, resulting in an absolute debacle. That it was aided by incompetent and unprincipled senior Defense and State Department officials who prematurely abandoned Bagram AB and billions’ worth of state-of-the-art U.S. weapons and equipment must also be taken into account and not forgotten. The resulting self-inflicted damage to our nation and our Afghanistan allies is most serious and grave and merits impeachment of all complicit. Yes, ‘elections have consequences’; in this case, none more so than the 2020 presidential election.” —Florida

Re: Bidenomics: More Food Stamps, Higher Prices

“Non-elected bureaucrats should never have the authority to write a check on behalf of lazy politicians.” —Washington

Re: Friday Short Cuts

“Keith Olbermann has been a narcissistic liberal blowhard for decades! Why anyone would pay ANY attention to what this thumbsucker has to say is beyond me. And to have the audacity to call out Riley Gaines on her ‘stupidity and lack of accomplishments’ takes it beyond the pale … or should I say ‘pail,’ as in a receptacle for my vomit.” —Missouri
