The Patriot Post® · The Trans Mafia Came For Rowling
Everybody hates a bully, except for perhaps the bully. And in today’s Western culture, there is no bigger bully than the Rainbow Mafia. This group exists not only to promote sexual deviancy as normative but also as ethically moral. Indeed, for the Rainbow Mafia, the only immorality is the failure to embrace and celebrate sexual deviancy. And this has become especially true when it comes to the “T” in LGBT, “transgenderism.”
In the past, the mantra of the alphabet community was simply “live and let live.” Its members wanted to be free to live their lives and let others live theirs. In short, the buzzword of that era was tolerance. This was before sexual behavior morphed into an identity-based state of being. That cultural transition opened the door to the present insanity, which has taken over and is redefining and eliminating the fundamental elements of society: men and women.
Transgenderism seemed to hit the West like a tidal wave. Like the Borg from Star Trek, the bullying message from the Rainbow Mafia was: Resistance is futile. It certainly seemed that was true, as any resistance triggered a woke mod crying out for the cancellation of the one who dared even to question “transgender” ideology.
The bullying cancel campaign aimed to intimidate and silence any dissenting voices. For the most part, it has been highly effective. Thankfully, a few brave figures have dared to stand against this “transgender” tide and continue to call a spade a spade.
One of those brave individuals is J.K. Rowling, who, despite her beloved Harry Potter books, has been targeted and smeared by the Rainbow Mafia as a bigoted “trans-exclusionary radical feminist” or TERF.
Rowling was labeled a TERF back in 2019 over her objection to the notion of replacing the word “woman” with the phrase “people who menstruate.” She wrote at the time, “Dress however you please. Call yourself whatever you like. Sleep with any consenting adult who’ll have you. Live your best life in peace and security. But force women out of their jobs for stating that sex is real?”
She followed that up with another cogent observation: “If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives.”
Four years on, the bullying of Rowling hasn’t stopped. If anything, it has only gotten worse. Yet Rowling has stuck to her guns. One of the main reasons for the bullying is her feminism. By the Left’s “logic,” she is supposed to be an ally of gender-bending deviancy. However, if anything, the Rowling smear campaign has only further entrenched her against the insanity.
It’s not only Rowling. Millions of others have had enough of the bullying and are standing up against the madness. Indeed, Donald Trump’s sweeping election victory even has The New York Times writing, “Transgender Activists Question the Movement’s Confrontational Approach.” However, the Times author was hesitant to blame the trans-activists. In referencing Rowling, the article stated, “A few angry critics posted videos of themselves burning her books,” as if that was the extent of the abuse she’d endured.
In response, Rowling decided to set the record straight, posting on X some of the details of the abuse she and others have suffered from these trans-activists. “By standing up to a movement that relies on threats of violence, ostracisation and guilt-by-association, all of us have been smeared and defamed, but many have lost their livelihoods. Some have been physically assaulted by trans activists. Female politicians have been forced to hire personal security on the advice of police. The news that one of the UK’s leading endocrinologists, Dr Hillary Cass, was advised not to travel by public transport for her own safety should shame everyone who let this insanity run amok.”
She further noted that now that the political landscape has shifted, these trans cultists have “started wondering whether calling left-wing feminists who wanted all-female rape centres ‘Nazis’ was such a smart strategy.” She added, “Maybe parents arguing that boys ought not to be robbing their daughters of sporting opportunities might, sort of, have a point? Possibly letting any man who says ‘I’m a woman’ into the locker room with twelve-year-old girls could have a downside, after all?”
She concluded: “Mealy-mouthed retconning of what has actually happened over the past ten years is predictable but will not stand. I don’t doubt those who’ve turned a blind eye to the purges of non-believers, or even applauded and encouraged them, would rather minimise what the true cost of speaking out was, but ‘yes, maybe trans activists went a little over the top at times’ takes are frankly insulting. A full reckoning on the effects of gender ideology on individuals, society and politics is still a long way off, but I know this: the receipts will make very ugly reading when that time comes, and there are far too many of them to sweep politely under the carpet.”
Thankfully, it does appear that these bullies are losing. But as Rowling notes, letting them slink away into the darkness will not solve the problem.
