Re: Trump 2.0 — Attack of the Disruptors1

“This is a great overview of Trump 2.0 and the challenges to his administration’s agenda. The Left is relentless, but for the moment all they can do is flail their arms and file lawsuits with Democrat judges.” —California

“Let’s hope SCOTUS will reject these activist judges so Trump can fulfill his agenda. As (former) Prince Charles and now King was fond of saying, ‘Things are going swimmingly.’ It is up to SCOTUS to step on the left-wing judges.” —West Virginia

“It is such a pleasure to read your thoughts on our political storm. Logic, clear thinking, and common sense serve to provide sensible decisions and solutions whereas personal appeasement and ego simply clutter the prospects of forward motion. The function of our legislatures is meant to serve the will and needs of the American people. Our political philosophy is to do so in a manner that enriches the lives of Americans, but not at the expense of the remainder of our world.” —Georgia

“For those of us paying attention to the actual details, the corruption and abuse of power exposed by DOGE is unfathomable. How did our government get so far out of control? And they are just getting started. Shame on ALL members of Congress, past and present, who allowed this to happen. Your names belong on a wall of shame.” —Massachusetts

“Trump/Vance 2025 is a joy to behold. Trump’s choices for his administration are proving to be America First Patriots who will fight for our rights, clean up our government, and truly Make America Great Again. It is time for ALL congressional Republicans to pursue this cleanup with equal vigor!” —Ohio

Re: Why USAID Has Been Gutted2

“Many of these programs need to be cut back and/or eliminated altogether. What is getting done should have been done 25 years ago or more. Most of these programs have not been looked at for decades, so there has been giant amounts of waste and overspending. This country has no right to tell other nations how to do things or how to live. The USAID program has needed to be culled for many years.” —California

Re: Democrats Dogpile DOGE3

“I don’t know whether to laugh or puke when I hear Democrats claim it’s ‘unconstitutional’ for President Trump to cancel spending that has nothing to do with any of the powers enumerated to Congress in the Constitution. They claim he’s violating the Impoundment Control Act of 1974. Question: Can the president refuse to spend funds for violations of the Constitution? If a law was passed appropriating money to pillory congressional Democrats, is the president required to spend it for that purpose?” —Minnesota

“‘If there’s one thing that gets Democrats’ goat, it’s cutting the power and bureaucracy of the federal government.‘ More so, it’s the federal government power and bureaucracy that enable the Democrats to line their coffers and pockets with paybacks and kickbacks from scores of unaccountable government agencies and individuals. Of course, entrenched Democrats are majorly upset. DOGE exposes not only their profligate spending on progressive woke nonsense but also the corruption and fraud that bestows their personal financial gain. Americans must strongly support President Trump and DOGE reining in abusive federal government spending. Our future national security and welfare depend on it.” —Florida

Re: How DOGE Is Doing It4

“During my 37 years in heavy industry, 20 of them were in our defense products group marketing and executing federal contracts. As a program manager, every contact awarded to us included numerous terms and conditions — Federal Acquisition Regulations and the FAR Clause. Every single contract for material goods or services includes specific clauses for termination of the contract either at the Convenience of the Government (T for C) or Termination for Default (T for D) after the organization fails to satisfactorily respond to a Show Cause letter. The clauses were required on every federal contract for goods and services. Rather than an EO, issue an order to every program officer to follow the FAR Clause to suspend spending accordingly.” —Texas

“I have seen negative comments from people — even family members — bemoaning the fact that Elon Musk is an 'unelected billionaire’ who is disrupting (or maybe taking over) our government. I wonder just what these folks think is motivating Elon to do this. Surely it isn’t for money — he already has more than the government (taking the debt into consideration), and he has accomplished more than any government division you might care to name, except maybe the military. (Elon doesn’t have an army.) The real issue is that liberals cannot believe that anyone would try to reduce the government, which they think of as their mommy. Somehow, these folks need to be convinced that the government is NOT their mommy, and it needs to stop wasting their money.” —Florida

Re: About That Russell Vought Freakout5

“Nixon chopped $235 billion from the budget and suffered the wrath of Congress. Republicans hated him just as Democrats did. Larry Kudlow and Art Laffer frequently speak of impoundment, which Nixon did and I wish Trump would do as well. Many presidents have done so. This led to the change from Zero Line Budgeting to Base Line Budgeting, which Rush Limbaugh explained in his newsletters and spoke of occasionally.” —Minnesota

Re: The ‘Religion of Peace’ Claims Another Victim6

“Europe is merely following the plan of the New World Order. Nations cannot have an identity and they cannot have a culture, as these create a sense of nationalism and patriotism. Those in Europe now identify as European and no longer as German, Finn, French, or what have you; their identity has been taken from them, which was the very intent in the creation of the European Union. This plan for a one world government has been in operation for a very long time, at least as far back as 1849 and the creation of the Fabian Society, which spawned the UK Labour Party. The Fabian socialists had very long-term goals — planning a hundred years in advance!” —California

Re: Are Nondenominationals the Future of American Christianity?7

“Living out one’s faith is a life journey — everyday. My life is filled with like-minded souls who will stop what they are doing at the drop of a hat to help someone in need, or take a ‘timeout’ from their own schedule to spend time and inspire others. It is a very strong connection to living out the Gospel, because one must be closely connected to our Creator and open to where He leads — much more than just on Sunday mornings.” —Washington
