Re: Leftist Who Hate Trump … Hate Grassroots American Patriots1

“I am a plumber. We are surrounded by haters in New York City, and I wonder how much thought the urban elite have given as to where they would be without all us grassroots Trump supporters who basically make their life possible. Maybe we should have a Trump strike for 48 hours and watch the outcome.” —New York

“So, I am forwarding this article to all those arrogant Biden/Harris supporters I know, just to remind them that they depend on all us Trump voters for their subsistence.” —North Carolina

Re: Profiles of Valor: MajGen Smedley Butler (USMC)2

“Excellent article on my ancestor. One thing you could have added was the fact that he saved hundreds, and possibly thousands of lives, during his command of Camp Pontannezen. It is also worth noting that Smedley had wanted a battlefield command which was denied him because of his outspoken criticism of the military tactics.” —California

Re: Howard University’s ‘Safe Space’ for Hate3

“This was an outstanding summary of Kendi’s hate charade, mandatory reading for anyone in academia who believes this racist tripe is acceptable on any campus.” —Massachusetts

Re: Trump’s Misfire on Ukraine4

“At first glance, Trump’s negotiation with Russia make no sense. Trump may have gotten this wrong, but I’m willing to give him a little rope and reserve judgment until the whole negotiation scenario plays out. Russia and China cozying up with each other does not bode well for America and the West. Driving a wedge between them may be part of the overall strategy. Trump has stated interest in the rare earths and minerals that Ukraine has; this may be a way of securing them and keeping them away from the Russia/China alliance.” —California

Re: Thursday: Below the Fold5

“Musk’s idea of a $5,000 household dividend will do nothing to curb inflation. Instead, monies clawed back should first go toward shoring up Social Security. Second, and just as important, our veterans should get the care they need. I just received a solicitation for a donation to a veterans assistance organization. To me, this relegates veterans to beggar status. Illegals get put up in luxury hotels while many veterans are homeless. There should be no need for agencies soliciting on behalf of veterans; they should be thanked and cared for because of their service to our country. Take care of those two items first, then put the rest toward reducing our $36 trillion debt.” —West Virginia

Re: What the Elbridge Colby Fight Means6

“The populations of Iran and China both want to live in peace, but have not moved against a tyrant that interferes with that goal. We can blast them into oblivion, but the people, properly trained and with the proper incentive, can take care of the problem for themselves. China got close around the Tienanmen time and Iran got close a couple of years ago with student uprisings. A little training and a lot of encouragement can change the world. Every illegal on the path to deportation should have a book on how to fix their own country. The courage is there but the knowledge is not.” —Washington

Re: A Black, Queer, Bisexual Woman to Play Jesus7

“When George Frederick Handel produced the first performance of ‘The Messiah,’ he wanted a particular soprano for a solo part because of her wonderful voice, even though she was notoriously immoral. It is said she was so profoundly affected by the Gospel in Handel’s arrangement that she repented and turned to Christ. The anti-gospel of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ is not likely to have that effect, but we can pray that it arouses curiosity about the genuine word of God.” —Minnesota
