We need the black boob, not the Asian anarchist.

The Democrat Machine will never admit it, but that’s precisely the argument that won the day a few weeks ago, when outgoing Democrat Governor Tony Evers threw his support behind Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley in the state’s Democrat primary for governor — even though socialist chef Francesca Hong was the prohibitive polling favorite in the race, and even though Crowley had dropped out 10 days earlier.

Talk about dragging a corpse across the finish line.

But last night, that’s exactly what happened, and that’s exactly what the Machine got — the black boob, the DEI hire, the uninspiring and incompetent Democrat box-checker — albeit by the flimsiest of electoral margins. With 98% of the Dairy State’s Democrat vote having been counted, Crowley leads Hong 39.8% to 39.4%. And that’s a wrap.

Whewwww, wheezed the collective Machine.

As the Appropriated Press reports, “Moderate Democrat David Crowley won the Wisconsin primary for governor, defeating a democratic socialist who fell short while trying to deliver another win for progressives in a battleground state.”

Notice that the AP couldn’t even get to the second word of its story before lying. David Crowley is no moderate, and no serious examination of his record will show him to be so. Although that’s what the Crowley campaign, and the Democrat Machine, and their mainstream media bootlickers will try to impress upon the people of Wisconsin between now and November.

As Crowley’s campaign said in a statement after the race was called, “David is focused on bringing people together, earning the support of Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and anyone who believes Wisconsin is at its best when we work together and deliver results.” Uh-huh. Pure pablum.

So much for the blowout that Hong’s Madisonian — the leftist college town, not the esteemed constitutional author — supporters were expecting. She’d been the overwhelming favorite going into yesterday’s race, with polling leads of between 18% and 29%, but the 37-year-old naif was ultimately done in by the shrewd and calculating refusal of fellow socialists like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to endorse her, no doubt because they realize that she’d be a surefire loser in a swing-state general election as well as an easy target for Republicans seeking to draw national attention to her out-and-out radicalism.

No cops? No prisons? No ICE? No borders? No Thanksgiving? No thanks.

The irony here is particularly rich with Sanders, given that he’s been shivved twice by the same undemocratic Democrat Machine — once against Hillary Clinton in 2016 and a second time against Joe Biden in 2020.

Clearly, everyone within the Democrat establishment, at both the state and national level, knew what was at stake in this race. So the Machine pulled out all the stops to install a deeply uninspiring establishment candidate instead of the deeply disturbing socialist candidate. Which is exactly what they tried — but failed — to do in Michigan last week, where the cringeworthy establishment candidate, Haley Stevens, still managed to lose to the Muslim socialist and Hasan Piker spit-swapper, Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed.

There are inescapable parallels between Michigan last week and Wisconsin this week. In Michigan, the Machine barely failed to derail the socialist, while in Wisconsin they barely succeeded. But what they’re left with is Crowley, an incompetent and uninspiring DEI leftist who couldn’t even get 40% of the vote among Democrats. Yuck.

Yes, Crowley’s tenure as debt-ridden Milwaukee County’s quota-hire executive has shown him to be both incompetent and uninspiring — which is why he dropped out of the race — but the Democrats absolutely needed to drag him across the finish line ahead of the Asian female socialist. Otherwise, there’s no way the Democrats would’ve gotten the black vote out in Milwaukee County on November 3. And without a large black turnout in Milwaukee County, the Democrats don’t keep the governor’s mansion.

On the Republican side, Congressman Tom Tiffany was the easy winner, and he’ll square off against Crowley in this 48-48 state, with both vying for the 4% of persuadables.

Make no mistake: The gubernatorial races in the swing states of Michigan and Wisconsin are hugely important this fall, and the Democrats know it. Because they know that it’s a lot easier to “find” those extra votes in Detroit and Milwaukee when there’s a Democrat governor looking the other way on presidential election night in 2028.
