“Who Is Kevin Clinesmith?”

That’s the question James Freeman of The Wall Street Journal posed way back on January 30. And the fact that Clinesmith isn’t a household name by now tells us everything we need to know about our mainstream media’s willful blindness toward the Obama-Biden administration’s banana-republic attack on President Donald Trump.

As Tobias Hoonhout reports, “Kevin Clinesmith, who first worked on the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane team and then under special counsel Robert Mueller — only to be fired in February 2018 after it was revealed he sent anti-Trump messages — will plead guilty to one count of making false statements. Clinesmith’s admission came after Justice Department inspector general Michael Horowitz faulted him in a December report for doctoring an email to state that former Trump-campaign national security adviser Carter Page was ‘not a source’ for the CIA — when in fact the email from a CIA official stated the opposite.”

So an FBI lawyer doctored evidence to help the Obama-Biden administration secure a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump administration, thereby helping to set in motion the whole “Russia collusion” hoax. But, no, to hear the media tell it, Barack and Joe were “scandal-free” for eight pristine years.

Our Mark Alexander mentioned Clinesmith back in May, when he added his name to a list of the cabal’s more well-known operatives: John Brennan, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, and Peter Strzok. And this columnist reiterated Clinesmith’s malfeasance just last month.

What’s most remarkable, though, is that we knew Clinesmith was a dirty rat back in November. And we knew it in part because The New York Times (of all papers) told us so — albeit after telling us in its headline, “Russia Inquiry Review Is Said to Criticize F.B.I. but Rebuff Claims of Biased Acts.”

“Mr. Clinesmith,” reported the Times, “worked on both the Hillary Clinton email investigation and the Russia investigation. He was among the F.B.I. officials removed by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, after Mr. Horowitz found text messages expressing political animus against Mr. Trump. Shortly after Mr. Trump’s election victory, for example, Mr. Clinesmith texted another official that ‘the crazies won finally,’ disparaged Mr. Trump’s health care and immigration agendas, and called Vice President Mike Pence ‘stupid.’ In another text, he wrote, in the context of a question about whether he intended to stay in government, ‘viva [sic] la resistance.’”

Nope, no bias here.

There’s still a long way to go in John Durham’s criminal investigation. And there’s still plenty of speculation as to whether Clinesmith will be the Rosetta Stone, the means of deciphering this treachery toward Donald Trump.

Perhaps the answer is to take a page out of former U.S. Attorney Rudy Giuliani’s playbook. It was Giuliani, after all, who brought down the New York City mob in the ‘80s using the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) statute. Because let’s be honest: Kevin Clinesmith didn’t doctor this evidence in a vacuum. He was part of a larger racket — a racket not unlike that of a four-tiered organized crime syndicate, with soldiers, captains, underbosses, and bosses.

Clinesmith was a soldier, a guy at the ground level who did the dirty work. He answered to captains such as Peter Strzok and Andrew McCabe, who in turn took orders from an underboss, former FBI Director James Comey. And the bosses? The untouchables? The ones with the cutouts to give them plausible deniability? That would be Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Hillary Clinton.

You’ve heard us say it before: This November, it’s either Trump or the mob. And while the people who spied on, conspired against, and tried to take down a duly elected president aren’t antifa or Black Lives Matter, they’re no less a mob.
