For some time now I’ve been talking about the mainstream media’s propaganda campaign to bury information. I’m no longer surprised when I meet people who believe everything they hear from the media. That includes those who are mostly conservative, biblically literate, or even committed Christians who have willingly believed a lie.

Their hatred of Donald Trump has blinded them to the truth. If what they hear reinforces their hatred, they simply don’t want to hear anything that challenges their belief. Time after time the Leftmedia has misreported and hyped a story that fits its narrative. There are so many of these false narratives I don’t know where to start, but I’ll cover a few dealing with lost black lives.

The death of George Floyd was a tragedy. The officer who had his knee on Floyd’s neck cannot be justified. But that might not be what ultimately caused Floyd’s death. The coroner’s report noted that when the police arrived, Floyd was already dying from a fentanyl overdose. Did you know that? How much damage in property and lives has been done across the nation after this story was repeated ad nauseam?

Rayshard Brooks of Atlanta, we’re told, was murdered by white police officers. Brooks allegedly did nothing wrong. However, security cameras show something different. Yes, for an extended time, Brooks and the officers’ conversation was calm until they indicated they were going to place him under arrest. That’s when all hell broke loose.

At one point, Brooks literally had both officers on the ground, where he was fighting for one of the officer’s weapons and grabbing one of their tasers. Yes, he was running from the officers, but he turned and pointed the taser at the officer who fired his weapon. Nevertheless, the headline was that another innocent black man was murdered by racist white cops! If Brooks had tased the officers and shot them, there wouldn’t have been a story.

Last of all is the tragic — yes, tragic — story of Breonna Taylor. Tragic because Taylor made poor choices. She was at least aware of, if not engaged in, illegal drug trafficking with her former boyfriend. We were told police broke into her home with a “no-knock” warrant and shot her as she lay sleeping in her bed. But the facts bear little resemblance to the false narrative the media reported.

Taylor and her ex-boyfriend, Jamarcus Glover, had been under surveillance for some time and there were recordings of conversations between them when Glover was in jail.

These are details no one is hearing. It was a tragedy that Taylor was shot in the crossfire when her current boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, opened fire on the officers who entered the home. He claims he didn’t hear them announce they were police. Either way, Taylor was not sleeping when she was shot. She was standing next to Walker.

We can argue the merits of no-knock warrants or of police tactics during an arrest; let’s have that conversation. But we have to stop the lies that fuel the fires of “alleged” systemic racism in our country. Lives, property, businesses, and minority communities are paying the price because the media pursued a political objective over the truth. How many more lives will be sacrificed so the Leftmedia can achieve its political goal — getting rid of Trump?
