With less than two weeks to go until the election, we now have the sordid tale of the Biden family and what may have happened related to a “pay to play” scandal.

First of all, I have to say that personally, I feel sorry for the position Hunter Biden finds himself in. Growing up in a political family had to have been difficult. Look at all that has happened to him. He was kicked out of the military because of his drug use. He went through a horrible divorce and lost custody of his children. He had an affair with his deceased brother’s widow and he got a stripper pregnant; and on and on the story goes. I have compassion for him because as a Christian I can only say, “But by the grace of God, there go I.”

What kind of pressure did he go through to bring him to the place where his world fell apart? If you look at all the “deals” Hunter Biden was involved in, none of those would have been possible if he were not the son of Joe Biden. His father helped him make contacts with powerful and influential people in a number of countries. With all of the personal struggles Hunter had, do we really think he put all of these deals together on his own?

His father took him to China and introduced him to highly influential people, most likely all associated with the horribly misnamed People’s Liberation Army. They are not friends of our country. Now we have emails suggesting Hunter was supposed to give half of the income he made to the “big guy.” I don’t think he meant Donald Trump! That could explain how Biden now has four homes on a senator’s and then vice president’s salary.

I’ve been saying for a long time that character and integrity count. Joe Biden doesn’t have either. I will agree with you if you say Trump has a character problem. But for the past 47 months, President Trump has done more for this country than Biden has in 47 years of government service. Trump loves America! Biden has been criticizing the country since he began running, and now we learn he and his family are profiting from its positions of power.

Adam Schiff claims he once again has evidence that the email scandal is a Russian election interference plot to steal our election. I’ll believe him as soon as he makes public the Russia-hoax evidence against Trump he’s had for years. If there’s nothing to see here, why are social media platforms blocking any reference to the story, saying it’s unsourced? I mean, they have allowed four years of unsourced stories about President Trump. They’ve never let facts (or the lack of) stand in the way before, as long as it hurt Trump.

What kind of father would put his son in such a precarious position? For that matter, what kind of wife would let her husband, who is obviously having cognitive issues, go out and blunder his way from one campaign event to another? Someone who will do anything to win an election.

This is just one more reason for us to do our homework and dig deep into the issues away from the blather and hype of the mainstream media. Then vote your conscience and your values; vote for who will really do what’s best for America. Hint: It’s not the Biden crime family.
