Biden’s ‘Russian Disinformation Smear’ Subterfuge
There is a BIG Lie charade to claim emails exposing Biden’s ChiCom pay-to-play scheme are “Russian disinformation.”
(Read our previous article on Joe Biden’s corruption. Read our next article on Joe Biden’s corruption.)
A year ago, in October of 2019, former Democrat Sen. Robert Torricelli (D-NJ), stated prophetically: “The problem Democrats are facing in this race is that, if Joe Biden is the nominee, Hunter Biden becomes ‘Hillary Clinton’s emails’.” That political threat assessment was correct in more ways than he anticipated.
Demos knew Hunter’s liability to Joe’s campaign as outlined by The New Yorker in July of 2019: “Mainstream media organizations…have homed in on [Hunter Biden]…scrutinizing his business dealings in China and Ukraine. There is little question that Hunter’s proximity to power shaped the arc of his career, and that, as the former aide told me, ‘Hunter is super rich terrain.’ … Hunter offered to use his contacts to help identify investment opportunities for…CEFC China Energy… After the dinner, the [CEFC chairman] sent a 2.8-carat diamond to Hunter’s hotel room with a card thanking him for their meeting…estimated to be worth eighty thousand dollars.”
Joe Biden has repeatedly declared, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” in the Ukraine and China. (Watch Biden’s denial.)
But they could count on the MSM to ignore the truth.
In my analysis of the Biden emails, I noted, “We have been rightly cautious about the veracity of Hunter Biden’s emails.” While I believe the emails, texts and photos are those of Hunter Biden, I remain cautious. However, some of those emails have now been verified, most notably one directly tying Joe Biden with a pay-to-play political-access scheme involving millions of dollars from Red China.
There is now direct evidence that Joe lied about knowing details of his son’s Ukraine and China pay-to-play schemes to collect millions of dollars for father and son.
That notwithstanding, there are two competing narratives that have emerged on how to frame the “Big Guy” emails.
The first and most dominant of those narratives (for the moment) is a smokescreen being propagated by the Democrat Party and their Leftmedia echo chamber. The MSM is covering for Joe Biden by repeating “Russia disinformation” claims by key Democrat politicos as fodder for their obfuscation.
That narrative was first planted by the Biden campaign in the Demos’ New York Times tabloid, and has spread from there.
Then came the “Russia disinformation” assertion in a spin letter cobbled together by a cadre of primarily former Obama/Biden deep-state operatives headed by former CIA Director and leftist co-conspirator John Brennan. This would be the same John Brennan who once voted for the Stalinist Gus Hall for president. Hall was the General Secretary of the National Committee of the Communist Party USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Soviet Union.
The letter claims that the Biden emails have “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” adding, “If we are right, this is Russia trying to influence how Americans vote in this election.” However, they covered their butts, noting, “We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails…are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of Russian involvement – just that our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case.”
That letter has “all the classic earmarks” of a BIG Lie. Ironically, it also has “all the classic earmarks” of “Russian disinformation.”
And coincidentally but no coincidence, the the Demos’ deep-state coup conspiracy to take down Donald Trump, was, likewise, a phony concoction between senior Obama CIA and FBI principals and two key Democrats, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
That first well-organized coup d'état attempt was built on fabricated claims that Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. This would include our 2017 assessment of Clinton’s role in the Fusion Russian collusion to use the fake Steele dossier to justify the entire investigation into Trump and his campaign. This plagued his presidency until Special Counsel Robert Mueller concluded in 2019 what the rest of us knew all along: The accusations were fabricated.
But the “Russian disinformation” intel letter served its purpose. It enabled Biden to deflect the ChiCom connection and insist, “The vast majority of the intelligence people have come out and said there’s no basis at all.”
It also enabled the loudest political voice asserting the disinformation narrative, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA), who led the House impeachment charade: “We know that this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin. … Clearly, the origins of this whole smear are from the Kremlin, and the president is only happy to have Kremlin help in trying to amplify it. I think we know who the driving force behind this smear has been all along, and it’s been the president and the Kremlin. The Kremlin has an obvious interest in denigrating Joe Biden. They want Donald Trump to win. … He’s been the gift that doesn’t stop giving for the Kremlin, so clearly, they want to help him, so they want to denigrate the vice president. The intelligence community has made that abundantly clear, and this particular smear, though, has also been acknowledged to come from the Kremlin, and there it is in the Oval Office, another wonderful propaganda coup for Vladimir Putin, seeing the president of the United States holding up a newspaper promoting Kremlin propaganda.”
At best, Schiff’s assertions are profoundly delusional. The notion that Putin would rather be dealing with Donald Trump rather than Biden is demonstrably ludicrous.
Senate Foreign Relations committee member Chris Murphy (D-CT) affirmed Schiff’s comments, claiming: “Joe Biden — and all of us — SHOULD be furious that media outlets are spreading what is very likely Russian propaganda. I’ve seen the intel. … Here’s what we know, and why we can’t take it lying down. Russia knew it had to play a different game than 2016. So it built an operation to cull virulently pro-Trump Americans as pseudo-assets, so blind in their allegiance to Trump that they’ll willingly launder Kremlin constructed anti-Biden propaganda. Giuliani was a key target. … Whether he knows it or not, Giuliani is effectively a Russian asset now. This should be patently obvious to any reporter worth his or her salt.”
So, Murphy claims, “I’ve seen the intel”?
Responding to Schiff and Murphy, Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe says that Democrats have no evidence to back up their Russian disinformation claims: “Let me be clear: The intelligence community doesn’t believe that, because there is no intelligence that supports that, and we have shared no intelligence with Chairman Schiff or any other member of Congress that Hunter Biden’s laptop is part of some Russian disinformation campaign. It is simply not true. And this is exactly what I said I would stop when I became director of national intelligence, and that is people using the intelligence community to leverage some political narrative. And in this case, apparently Chairman Schiff wants anything against his preferred political candidate deemed as not real and is using or attempting to use the intelligence community to say there’s nothing to see here. Don’t drag the intelligence community into this. Hunter Biden’s laptop is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign.”
Fox News reports that “senior administration officials” confirm that the FBI does have Biden’s laptop (likely on suspicion it contained child pornography), and that the FBI and Department of Justice concur with DNI Ratcliffe that the hard drive data is not considered to be “Russian disinformation.” In a letter to Congress the FBI declared it had “nothing to add” Ratcliffe statement.
Will that verification prompt any other news organizations to launch a serious investigation into the implications for Joe Biden? The Wall Street Journal is finally insisting, “Joe Biden has an obligation to answer questions about his son’s influence-peddling and his own financial dealings—notably regarding China.” As their editor James Freeman asks, “What kind of meetings can a Chinese tycoon buy for $10 million a year?”
One of these two narratives, that asserted by Schiff and Murphy or that asserted by DNI Ratcliffe, is true.
For the record, DNI Ratcliffe’s assertion does not discount the need for appropriate investigation into the authenticity of the hard drives and the data on those drives. But, based on Schiff’s chronic Trump Derangement Syndrome pathology, nothing he says can be believed.
As I noted previously, the fact that the “Russia collusion” fabrication was wholly unverified certainly didn’t stop the Leftmedia from immediately and endlessly pushing that fake leftist narrative for the three years. So why aren’t they devoting equal resources to what they claim again is “collusion” between Trump campaign operatives and Russian dezinformatsiya apparatchiks?
Unquestionably, they collectively know that this time, at least some of the evidence against their candidate will be verified authentic — which is why not one Leftmedia network dares touch the issue.
Members of the House are now urging Attorney General William Barr to appoint a special counsel to probe the Biden email allegations. But all of that is too little too late to have much impact on the election — depending on what email evidence still emerges in the next two weeks.
Despite the whiffle-ball pitches to Biden at last week’s “town hall” — not a word about the email scandal — in the final presidential debate this Thursday night, I can assure you Trump will ask Biden about his ChiCom quid pro quo, repeatedly.
Stay tuned: Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Devan Cooney, currently incarcerated, has decided to release 26,000 emails for review, which will bolster the pay-to-play racket to enrich Joe Biden. Another Biden partner in crime, Devon Archer, is awaiting sentencing. Somehow Hunter escaped prosecution.
Meanwhile, the Biden campaign strategy will be to keep Joe sequestered, and run out the clock until election day.
