Joe Biden has repeatedly claimed that his campaign is a fight to “save America’s soul.” Indeed, he has repeatedly asserted that the primary reason he decided to run was because of President Donald Trump’s alleged comment about “some very fine people on both sides” in the violent 2017 Charlottesville protests. Never mind that the claim is a bald-faced lie; Trump never called neo-Nazis “fine people” and he DID explicitly condemn white supremacists at the time — in the very same statement Biden quoted out of context. But, the truth has never been one of Biden’s strong points, as demonstrated by his repeated history of plagiarism and autobiographical lies.

Nor does Biden have an admirable record when it comes to standing against racism. Over his 47 years in government, more often than not Biden has stood behind racists and sided with racist policies, a fact that even his running mate Kamala Harris exposed during the Democrat primary. In fact, Biden’s obtuseness on racism continues as evidenced by his acceptance of an endorsement by Emgage, a Muslim group that promotes the anti-semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. Then again, Democrats have always been very friendly with anti-Semites like Louis Farrakhan, and they’ve even elected one to Congress in Ilhan Omar.

The racists are lining up behind Biden.

Meanwhile, Trump has not only repeatedly denounced racism and white supremacy, but his record on supporting racial minorities and enacting criminal justice reform is impressive. In fact, Trump has done more for black Americans than Barack Obama and Biden did in the eight years they were in power. When comparing Trump’s record to that of Biden’s, it’s clear that if anyone can be truly labeled a racist, it isn’t Trump.

Yet Biden is guilty of repeatedly telling a big lie that the mainstream media refuses to call him out on — that Trump is a dangerous racist. Thus, the bigger lie is Biden’s claim of supposed moral superiority. A vote for Biden is a vote to lose the soul of America, not save it. Trump stands as a threat not to America’s soul but to the power-hungry Washington establishment, whose members fear more of their deceit, corruption, and abuses being exposed.

Finally, the Trump campaign on Tuesday hit back by thoroughly debunking Biden’s big lie. The campaign released a five-minute video chronicling 38 times — beginning in the early 2000s and continuing through today — that Trump has explicitly and publicly denounced racism and white supremacy. Our only criticism is that Trump should have released this video months ago. Better late than never.
