Re: “Why the ‘Stimmy’ Could Stunt Economic Prosperity

“‘Stimmy’ checks are the trial balloon for Universal Basic Income (UBI) policy. Since progressives have embraced with great enthusiasm the delusion of Modern Monetary Theory, UBI is the logical outcome. We can expect to see many articles concerning utopian wealth taxation and the benefits of a socialist society in coming days.” —Washington

Re: “Whatever Happened to Scranton Joe?

“I’m a native Delawarean. Joe hasn’t changed one bit. He has never had immutable principles. Joe has always been a political opportunist and changed his political positions at the drop of a hat when he thought it would gain him votes and keep him in an office whereby his lifestyle was guaranteed by the taxpayer. He is the most dangerous kind of politician — a phony, unprincipled, and opportunistic example of the Peter Principle. Now that he is the most powerful person in the world, he is in serious cognitive decline and a puppet of extremist left-wingers. He is also the most dangerous person in the world. All one can hope is that the midterms minimize his power and that Harris never succeeds him.” —Florida

Re: “Kristi Noem Backtracks on Gender Protection

“I’m afraid that I do not necessarily agree with Mr. Gallatin’s interpretation of Governor Noem’s actions up to this point. There is certainly nothing wrong with her request that legislation not be loaded with language that she thinks would open the state up to unnecessary economic damage or administrative and regulatory burdens. Poorly worded legislation is not excusable simply because the topic is emotional and popular. In fact, if the issue is so fundamental and the principle is so clear, that makes it more important to get it right the first time. Let’s be patient. Besides, this type of legislation will be needed in all states. Why not see if South Dakota can get it right for all of us?” —Oklahoma

Re: “The CDC’s ‘Separate but Equal’ Agenda

“The Democrats’ overall strategy is to eventually outlaw whites generally and
create a vast pro-Democrat Party group of nonwhites whose sole goal is to supplant the majority race via the system of apartheid that was prevalent in South Africa. Apparently, South African apartheid was bad but American apartheid is just fine.” —Texas

Re: “Evanston Goes for Reparations

“We have watched ‘reparations’ paid since LBJ’s ‘War on Poverty’ compounded with the  Civil Rights Act since the mid-1960s. We witnessed massive subsidies for housing, food, medicine, job training, scholarships, admissions, hiring, promotion quotas, and much more favoring people with more melanin. Sadly, these good intentions brought profoundly devastating consequences to generations of recipients now suffering an insidiously pernicious atrophy of the success spirit. Reparations can only bury their fate deeper and longer as helpless dependents for many more generations.” —Missouri
