Re: “Pelosi and Schumer Desecrated Brian Sicknick’s Death

“The fomenters of the lie regarding Sicknick’s death were the leftist media that ran with the lie. Tucker Carlson had a montage on his show revealing the radical leftist ‘reporters’ claiming the officer was ‘bludgeoned’ to death with a fire extinguisher. It has become obvious that the political agenda of certain networks replaces any semblance of the truth.  The First Amendment mandates free speech and prohibits prior restraint. It does not allow for blatant propaganda and political falsehoods to be spewed across the country. The ‘free press’ does itself a huge disfavor by advocating lies, stifling the truth, and perpetuating politically originated propaganda. It is seeding the start of its own destruction.” —Texas

Re: “Maxine Waters Incites the Mob

“I suggested to my congresswoman, Jamie Herrera Beutler, that, seeing as how she was one of the 10 Republicans who signed on to impeach President Trump for alleged insurrection back in January, she might want to be up front in signing on for Maxine Waters’s removal from Congress for actually urging insurrection.” —Washington

Re: “Are COVID Restrictions a Matter of Liberty?

“Q: Why can’t Dr. Fauci provide explicit goals, objectives, and measures that can be used to verify the effectiveness of anti-pandemic measures? A: The science is NOT settled. The virus is new, its variants are new, its behavior is new. We do not have a map. The experts are doing their best. Q: Why can’t Dr. Fauci and his ilk be candid and admit they do not know? A: Fear. Dr. Fauci is a bureaucrat. He is enjoying the security of a 36-year federal career. He’s 80 years old (15 years past ‘retirement’). He’s afraid of losing his career. Bureaucrats are NOT known for independent thinking and taking risks. Dr. Fauci is what he is: a successful bureaucrat who acts accordingly. But if Trump ever made a mistake, failing to fire Dr. Fauci is it.” —Missouri

Re: “To Mask or Not to Mask

“You know, every once in a while I find myself still wearing a mask while walking from a store or restaurant back to my car. It’s really just because I forgot to take it off, not because I think it’s necessary at that time. Wearing a mask in crowded indoor spaces because you fear getting COVID isn’t really an ‘irrational’ fear. While jogging? OK, probably not really needed. But, the numbers tell us that as soon as people start getting careless, more people contract the disease. And people that refuse to get inoculated aren’t helping to solve the problem. If this many people were vaccine-shy back in the 1950s, we would still have polio with us. I blame idiots on social media.” —Florida
