The Patriot Post® · Dems' Climate Agenda Serves China
America’s biggest geopolitical rival and threat is also our largest international trade partner. And that partnership exists with a massive trade imbalance, as the U.S. imports nearly three times the dollar amount in goods versus what is exported to China. Seemingly 90% of manufactured goods sold in America have been made in China.
China’s communist leader, Xi Jinping, has made it clear that his objective is to make China the world’s number one economy, a position from which the ChiComs can dominate the rest of the world, including the U.S. It was this reality that motivated Donald Trump to step up and face off against Beijing and counter Xi’s attempts to control world trade.
A global pandemic that originated in Wuhan, China — almost certainly having leaked from a BSL-4 lab that was specifically engaged in studying bat coronaviruses, followed by Beijing’s subsequent and continued attempt to cover up the facts and deflect any and all responsibility — demonstrates just how dangerous is the prospect of communist China dominating world markets. If China’s market malfeasance wasn’t bad enough, it pales in comparison to Beijing’s abysmal record on human rights.
As the U.S. economy struggles to rebound from the COVID pandemic amidst rising inflation and supply chain blockages (thanks in part to China), the big questions are these: Has China already won? Has the U.S. already outsourced too much of its manufacturing to China so as to preclude any realistic reversal? Is it inevitable that China will rise to economic world dominance and the U.S. continues its fade?
To name just one massive warning sign, Joe Biden and the Democrat agenda of a Green Energy Economy would only serve to speed up the process of U.S. dependence on China, not just with trade in the manufacturing secretor but even more devastatingly with energy. Biden’s climate agenda would ironically make the U.S. energy dependent upon the world’s leading carbon emitter, as the vast majority of both raw materials and components for the manufacture of wind turbines and solar technology happens to come from China.
In the name of confronting “climate change,” Biden is actively hamstringing U.S. energy independence — shutting down the Keystone XL pipeline, for example — while at the same time ignoring the biggest environmental polluter on the planet.
It’s as if Biden’s agenda is to make America second to China. Biden speaks out more forcefully against America’s own Border Patrol officers struggling to address the border crisis that he created than he has ever aimed toward Red China, a country whose communist government is currently holding hundreds of thousands of Uyghurs in concentration camps. It’s enough to make one wonder if Biden’s true puppet master is Xi.
