Re: “Rittenhouse Case Should Never Have Been Brought

“If I were a juror on this case and Binger had pointed that AR-15 in my direction, I would have hit the floor, yelling as I went down, and then strongly complained to the judge about the prosecution’s action. I would have considered his pointing a gun at me as a threat and intimidation of the jury, threatening to dismiss myself from the jury. And I would have considered that Binger had lost the case at the moment he pointed the gun at me. I hope he does lose this case, and at the very least be sanctioned by the state bar association.” —Washington

“When I’m at the range during a ‘cold line,’ all actions are to be open. Some even require a range flag be inserted into the chamber so there is no doubt that the firearms are safe. Not only did Binger have his finger on the trigger, the bolt was closed, and he was pointing it around in a crowded courtroom. Under these circumstances there absolutely should have been a range flag in the chamber and the bolt should have been locked open. Brandishing a weapon is a crime.” —Florida

“I am concerned about jury intimidation. Jurors ought to be focusing on what the evidence showed without having to worry about what will happen to them if they return a just, but politically unpopular, verdict. There is no doubt in my mind that the charges (very excessive given the facts shown at trial) were brought due to political pressure. The cowardly DA who ran for office with a promise to pursue justice punted and dumped his responsibility for justice on 12 unpaid citizens who never asked for it. I have an opinion on the trial, but recognize that the jurors heard all the evidence and I didn’t. I will therefore accept any verdict. I only hope and pray that their decision will be based on the evidence and nothing else.” —Illinois

Re: “Glasgow Climate Summit Sets Emissions Record

“I read global alarmists’ drivel from time to time, and I find it entertaining. They’ve moved the numbers of the historical temperature records a couple of times in the past 45 years or so. Maybe they should check the current locations of climate gauges and move them outside the cities and towns where the gauges have been since they began keeping records? These cities and towns have grown and paved over most areas. This causes a micro-climate and the locations become a heat sink. So move the gauges into the rural areas. Maybe it would normalize their inflated numbers? I’m betting they continue to tell horror stories on coming global disasters caused by humans and cows instead. Follow the money. That might answer a few questions.” —Oregon

Re: “Psaki Shills for Sorry VP

“Why did so many voters miss Harris’s dullness, past record, and blatant ineptness in the 2020 campaign and still vote for her? Likely, Harris and Biden’s approval scores will not drop any lower, as there remains a firm 28% of American voters who remain blind and willfully stupid in their discernment of leadership.” —North Carolina
