Now the CDC admits natural immunity is a thing: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently released a study in which it is finally admitted that those who’ve contracted COVID-19 not only gain natural immunity but that natural immunity is several times greater than that of the vaccines at preventing future infections and hospitalizations. As the study states, “Rates among vaccinated persons without a previous COVID-19 diagnosis were consistently higher than rates among unvaccinated persons with a history of COVID-19 and rates among vaccinated persons with a history of COVID-19.” Of course, anyone who understands how vaccines work knows that the produced immunity could not be possible without the reality of natural immunity. Finally, this study was completed last November — so why did it take the CDC until now to release it?
Leftmedia calls McConnell a racist for his non-racist remarks: In debunking the Democrats’ false claims that failure to pass their election legislation amounted to suppression of the minority vote, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell noted, “Well, the concern is misplaced because, if you look at the statistics, African American voters are voting in just as high a percentage as Americans.” Cue Leftmedia faux outrage like that of The Daily Beast’s Brook Leigh Howard, who asserted, “McConnell was trending on social media for accidentally admitting that he doesn’t see black Americans as real Americans.” In reality, McConnell’s accident was omitting the word “other,” as he explicitly referred to black Americans as African Americans. Furthermore, to McConnell’s point, minority voter turnout rates were higher in 2020 than in 2016, just one data point exposing the fallacious nature of the Democrats’ “voter rights” propaganda.
Ukraine president rebukes Biden: Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky had a simple message for Joe Biden regarding his Wednesday press conference in which Biden downplayed Russia’s aggression toward Ukraine: “We want to remind the great powers that there are no minor incursions and small nations. Just as there are no minor casualties and little grief from the loss of loved ones.” Ukraine Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba also observed: “Speaking of minor and full incursions for full invasion, you cannot be half-aggressive. You’re either aggressive or you’re not aggressive. We should not give [Vladimir] Putin the slightest chance to play with quasi-aggression or small incursion operations. This aggression was there since 2014. This is the fact.”
Jobless claims rise: Americans filing for unemployment benefits increased in mid-January up to 286,000 for the week, indicating that unemployment is on the rise despite the fact that there are nearly 11 million job openings across the country. Some 2.13 million Americans were collecting unemployment benefits in the first week of January, an increase of 180,114 from the week prior. Some economists blame the Omicron wave for the jump in unemployment and expect to see it quickly drop in the next several weeks along with peak infection numbers. Another decrease to note is labor union membership, which has fallen to a new low as roughly 14 million Americans, or just one in 10 workers, belong to a union. This continues a nearly four-decade-long decline for unions.
