Re: “DeSantis vs. Newsom

“Living in California, I can guarantee you that the things that happen here would not fly in most of the country. Highlighting these issues in a primary would alone make Newsom’s bid for president seem much more laughable in a country that’s overall purple compared to deep-blue California. Furthermore, Newsom is sheltered and protected from criticism in California, and was so even during the recall. Even with a leftist press, he would still be more exposed in a nationwide bid, especially since the man wilts under difficult questioning and really is as dumb as a sack of hammers, getting by on high-level Pelosi contacts, union servitude, and slick hair alone.” —California

Re: “The Left Keeps Denying the COVID Science

“Our military is being diminished by not being ‘woke’ enough and for not getting the vaccines. Since our government is weak and our enemies are flexing their muscles, America is in a very dangerous place. Our inept, demented old fool who calls himself president takes orders from his handlers and places us in a very weak state. Enlistment into our military is extremely low. And why not? Who wants to be told they have to study Marxist teachings, get vaccines that have already been proven unsatisfactory, and in general follow socialist teachings?” —Arizona

“It’s becoming more evident that the single-protein mRNA vaccines are too specific; it targets the original strains and has probably selected for mutations in that particular spike protein. Using more of it only increases the selection pressure in favor of the mutated virus and distracts the immune systems of recipients with almost-but-not-quite-right antigens. Either we should go with multi-protein vaccines like the Novavax product, or discard the older Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and make new versions to target something common to the new variants. Otherwise, for most people, naturally acquired immunity may be the best way to go. But let’s stop kidding people with outdated COVID-19 advertisements and obsolete vaccines.” —Minnesota

Re: “Retired General Fired for Mocking ‘Doctor’ Jill Biden

“From the time I was drafted into the Army (July ‘70) until I retired from the Air Force Reserve (Sept. '11), and a subsequent seven years as a full-time employee of the Army, I never encountered a hint of white supremacy or neo-Nazism. Now they want to admit HIV patients, lower the fitness standards, lower the education standards, and fire those who won’t take a vaccine. Morale must be at an all-time low. Perhaps Article 134 — 'all disorders and neglects to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces, [and] all conduct of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces’ — should be applied to the Joint Chiefs.” —New Hampshire

Re: “The Latina Canary in the Democrats’ Coal Mine

“I am a conservative Latina. It has bewildered me that Latinos vote Democrat so often, knowing that my culture values God, family, and country — the exact opposite of what the Democrat Party is about. I think Ms. Flores is exactly what the Latin community needs — someone to represent our values on a national platform and point out how the Democrats have done nothing for the Latin community. I am so proud of her for calling out the Times and its typical smear tactics. Thank you, Mayra, for holding your head high.” —Texas

Re: “NYC’s Gross Injustice: Man Defends Himself, Is Charged With Murder

“This whole thing is complete bovine scatology. I hope that a decent attorney takes up the case and gets him off. The big issue here is that one of the applications of deadly force was met. With that alone, there is no case. The right of self-defense shall not be denied! But this is in New York City, where laws are all fouled up!” —Indiana

Re: “The Latest No Good, Really Rotten Inflation Report

“After printing six trillion more dollars in two years, what did our ‘economics experts’ think would happen? They knew and did it anyway, on purpose. This administration is a wrecking ball to all of our economic and political structures. The Dems are doing what they said they would do in the 2020 election season. They are using Biden to install their Green New Deal, citizens be damned. It looks like a planned collapse of our modern way of life using ‘global climate change’ as their monster. We have many choices that lead to a better future. Where are the leaders to get us there?” —Oregon

Re: “Joe Biden Is Keeping His ‘Unity’ Promise!

“Expect the Democrat Party to do anything to ensure majorities in both Houses of Congress. If Dems succeed, the filibuster will be in serious jeopardy. If that occurs, we can expect the most consequential two years of anti-constitutional, socialist laws we can imagine. The judiciary could not stop most of the damage, and that would severely limit hopes of a conservative victory in 2024. Voting integrity is critical to the 2022 midterm election.” —Missouri

Re: “Miseducating Our Teachers

“When my daughter, who is now 44, was attending a local college, she was in a sorority. Totally unbidden, she once made the comment that the girls in her sorority that were education majors were the dumbest girls in the sorority. This was over 20 years ago. Looks like things have only gotten worse.” —South Carolina

Re: “Scientific and Religious Institutions Embrace Gender Confusion

“When you have created a nation that does not know basic biology or history, you have created a mass of people without free though. Such a mass is gleefully supported by the Left and the globalist elite as a perfect brainless sponge in which to infuse all kinds of twisted programs.” —Alberta

Re: “This Just In: Lotteries Rob the Poor

“Folks that have studied statistics, math, and logic know that the house wins. In this case, the ‘house’ is the state offering the lottery. Casinos are ornate and alcoholic drinks are free due to the tremendous profits to the ‘house.' Poorly educated folks are rubes abused by those who don’t care about society’s health. Caveat emptor.” —Rhode Island

Re: “Joe Biden Is Keeping His 'Unity’ Promise!

“This is quite possibly Mark Alexander’s finest editorial. It is, with certainty, a most vivid assessment of the state of our Republic. Very well done, Patriot Post!” —Kansas
