Has there ever been a more disgraceful speaker of the House than Nancy Pelosi?

Unfortunately, the answer is yes. Dennis Hastert, a Republican who served as speaker from 1999 to 2007, was a serial child rapist as a high school wrestling coach before he ran for Congress and therefore set the bar about as low as can be.

But were it not for a pedophile, Pelosi would surely take the cake. She’s certainly the most infantile of speakers, having publicly and pre-meditatively torn up Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech in 2020. She’s also the most entitled, having blatantly flouted the COVID-19 lockdown rules she helped impose on the rest of us, having enriched herself with unethical and uncannily successful investments in companies that her legislative body regulates, having rigged the January 6 House investigation by refusing to allow real Republicans to be represented on the committee, and having taken Holy Communion while ardently supporting abortion on demand right up until the moment of birth.

And now we can add the promotion of political violence to Pelosi’s disgraceful résumé.

Newly released footage from January 6, 2021, shows Pelosi threatening to physically assault then-President Donald Trump, if he had only dared to join those rioters at the Capitol that day.

The video clip was recorded by Pelosi’s filmmaker daughter, Alexandra, and was released Thursday during the January 6 House Committee hearings. An extended version of the clip was later aired on CNN, which, understandably, will do just about anything for ratings.

“I hope he comes. I’m going to punch him out,” an unhinged Pelosi tells her Chief of Staff Terri McCullough, who discourages her boss from making the comments. “I’ve been waiting for this, for trespassing on the Capitol grounds. I’m going to punch him out.”

“I’m going to go to jail,” the spittle-spewing speaker said, “and I’m going to be happy.”

Pelosi thus becomes the latest in a long line of phony-tough Democrats vowing political violence toward this particular American president, who seems to have some sort of magical ability to turn his political opponents into raving lunatics. Although we must admit: The image of Pelosi running up to Trump, swinging wildly at him, landing lefts and rights to the middle of his arm while he keeps in place a self-defending stiff-arm to her face is indeed amusing.

And all this because Trump, during his speech that day near the White House, had encouraged his tens of thousands of supporters to march to the Capitol and “peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

In another section of released video, Pelosi keeps asking about the whereabouts of the National Guard. She calls DC Mayor Muriel Bowser about the Guard. Of course, Trump had authorized deployment of Guard troops to the Capitol days prior to January 6, just in case things got out of hand, but Pelosi refused to take him up on it. Why? And why hasn’t she been held accountable for this failure, this terrible lapse of judgment?

Why hasn’t Pelosi also been held accountable for that rigged January 6 Committee, which from the onset denied the American people a full and fair hearing about the events of the Capitol riot?

“So Nancy Pelosi refuses Trump’s request for a national guard presence on Jan 6 and simultaneously has a documentary film crew in her office where you can hear her poorly delivered tough guy act,” tweeted Donald Trump Jr. shortly after the release of the video. “I’m sure I’ll be called conspiracy theorist for thinking this isn’t a coincidence!”

He’s right about the release not being a coincidence. Nancy Pelosi can read a poll, and she no doubt senses that in three weeks’ time, the American people are going to deliver a stern rebuke to her and her Democrat Party, and she’ll lose her speakership in the process.

That’s why her sham J6 committee voted unanimously last week to subpoena the former president. “Why didn’t the Unselect Committee ask me to testify months ago?” Trump immediately asked. The answer, again, as our Nate Jackson pointed out, is because there’s an election coming up, and because Trump makes a compelling villain — especially to those who haven’t bothered to read his 15-page takedown of the rigged committee and its one-sided work.

Despite all this choreography, and as if on cue, Pelosi’s Leftmedia allies gushed en masse about what a “bada**” she is, one after another after another. Former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann cloyingly described the video as “the greatest sound bite of the last seven years. It is what we have been dreaming to say and what we have been waiting to hear. Thank you, Nancy Pelosi!”

“Thank you”? For what? For promoting violence against a sitting U.S. president and for disgracing herself and the office?

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and Nancy Pelosi is indeed desperate.
