There’s a broken record playing in our head. It goes something like this: Imagine if Trump did that. Imagine if Trump did that. Imagine if Trump did that. Imagine if Trump did that…

Just imagine, for example, that Donald Trump had threatened to withhold foreign aid from a country unless it fired a prosecutor who was in the middle of an investigation into Don Jr.‘s involvement with that country’s most notoriously corrupt energy company.

Or imagine that the IRS had been conducting a years-long tax investigation of Don Jr. And imagine, as speculation was swirling about a possible indictment, that Donald Trump’s Justice Department had summarily removed the entire IRS investigative team from the probe into his son.

Just imagine. Imagine the hysteria and the headlines from the mainstream media. And imagine how quickly the Democrats would’ve convened congressional hearings and drawn up impeachment articles.

Last month, as our Nate Jackson reported, an IRS whistleblower came forward to House Republicans with information about “preferential treatment” for a certain person, as well as details that “contradict sworn testimony to Congress by a senior political appointee.”

The whistleblower didn’t come out and say who that “certain person” was, but House Republicans — and all other sentient humans — have good reason to believe it was Hunter Biden.

Why did that whistleblower come forward only then, after having spent years on the case? Answer: Because he and his entire investigative team had just been summarily yanked off of the investigation at the “request” of Joe Biden’s Department of “Justice.”

And now that lone whistleblower has some company. As the New York Post reports:

A second IRS whistleblower in the criminal investigation of first son Hunter Biden emerged Monday in documents sent to Congress following the purge of the entire investigatory team looking into President Biden’s son for tax fraud and related crimes.

The new whistleblower is a special agent in the IRS’s international tax and financial crimes group and worked on the Hunter Biden case since it was opened in 2018 — until he was ousted without explanation last week.

Perhaps the rank corruption of the Biden Crime Family has anesthetized the nation as to the criminal wrongdoing of our elected officials, but this stunt beggars the imagination. Here’s the second whistleblower himself, in an excerpt from an email he sent Thursday to seven senior IRS officials, including Commissioner Daniel Werfel:

As I’m sure you were aware, I was removed this week from a highly sensitive case … after nearly 5 years of work. I was not afforded the opportunity of a phone call directly from my [special agent in charge] or [assistant special agent in charge], even though this had been my investigation since the start …

I … have spent thousands of hours on the case, worked to complete 95% of the investigation, have sacrificed sleep/vacations/gray hairs etc., my husband and I (identifying me as the case agent) were publicly outed and ridiculed on social media due to our sexual orientation, and to ultimately be removed for always trying to do the right thing, is unacceptable in my opinion …

A lawyer for this whistleblower, rightly fearing reprisals from Team Biden, said that the IRS must desist from “intimidating” his client “lest they chill the disclosures of other IRS whistleblowers who may wish to come forward.”

These revelations are the latest to be heaped upon the allegations of tax fraud regarding Hunter Biden, which first came to light in 2020, conveniently just after his dad had won the White House.

And this reminds us of another broken record — the one that Joe Biden keeps playing every time he’s asked about Hunter. The one that goes: My son has done nothing wrong. My son has done nothing wrong. My son has done nothing wrong. My son has done nothing wrong…
