ATF Whistleblower Can Write Book
No profiting and agency editing.
Last week, we noted that an ATF whistleblower was being prevented from writing a book about the Fast and Furious scandal. After the ACLU intervened on agent John Dodson’s behalf, however, he will now be permitted to write his book … but he just can’t profit from it. And the ATF gets first crack at editing. To be fair, federal employee guidelines prohibit profit-making from law enforcement work, but as far as editing, we suspect the ATF will prove quite adept at covering their own, er, rears.
