Non-Compliance: I Will Not Comply

My Non-Compliance is not Disobedience

By George Rogers Clark · Jan. 14, 2013

My non-compliance is obedience to God. It may require disobedience to “the man.”

It is overt non-compliance. I will not comply. It is time for a stand. “The man” who sits in the Oval Office is preparing to use an executive order to infringe on my God-given responsibility to keep and bear arms. I am in non-compliance.

To keep and bear arms is a “right” under the 2nd Amendment. And I am indeed concerned about my 2nd Amendment rights to keep and bear arms. But man's law is secondary to God's law, even in modern America.

God considers it my responsibility to protect my family, property and my fellow man. I do not belong to some weird cult. It is in the Bible. As a Christian, I must take God's Word seriously. But let me be real. He says it is also your responsibility. He is God. You are man. It is your responsibility to be armed and to protect those in your care.

Non-compliance is serious. But like my brothers at the Patriot Post, I will not comply. Mark Alexander, the Publisher of the Patriot Post started the movement. He wrote a moving essay as a statement. He said, “I will not comply.” People are signing an on-line petition at Patriot Post to support the cause. I believe this act of non-compliance is a just cause.

Here is more on my perspective. My non-compliance is based on the necessity to disobey God in order to comply with “the man.” Obama and his silly crew can produce any order, edict, law, or senate backed decision they want. I will not disobey God on this matter. Non-compliance is my stand.

It is time to share my references. Then I will expand on the idea. My purpose is to challenge you. The Bible and my friend Ted Weiland are my sources. The Bible is Ted's source too, of course. And he has also written extensively on this subject. That made my job here easier.

1) Reason for non-compliance:

“Let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand; to execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have all his saints. Praise Ye Yahweh.” –Psalm 149:6-9

2) Reason for non-compliance:

“If the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.” –Matthew 24:43

3) Reason for non-compliance:

“Then said he unto them, he that hath no sword let him sell his garment and buy one.” –Luke 22:36

4) Reason for non-compliance:

“…if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” –1Timothy 5:8

5) Reason for non-compliance:

“Disconcerting as many people may find the erosion of the Second Amendment guarantee; it is even more disturbing that five people have the power to decide whether United States citizens have the right to protect themselves and their families, to what degree, and with what weapons. The Supreme Court essentially ruled that Americans have the right to bear arms, but only until they say otherwise.” –Ted Weiland

6) Reason for non-compliance:

“If the responsibility to keep and bear arms is God-given, no one except Yahweh himself has the right to withdraw it. If you are a Christian, and particularly if you are the head of your home, you were given the responsibility to keep and bear arms long before the United States Constitution was framed or ratified.” –Ted Weiland

7) Reason for non-compliance:

“Jesus' command agrees with Psalm 149:6-9. Note that Jesus did not tell his disciples to register their swords with the government.” –Ted Weiland

8) Reason for non-compliance:

“Why do Christian men think they need the state to sanction self-defense or any other God-given responsibility? What Yahweh ordained and commanded does not require the state's permission or license. If Yahweh's commands need to be authorized or licensed by the state, then Yahweh becomes subservient to the state.” –Ted Weiland

9) Reason for non-compliance:

“After first providing for your family's spiritual safety, your next priority should be providing for your family's physical protection. Providing food, clothing, and shelter is of little benefit if you are unprepared or unwilling to defend your family against thieves, rapists and murderers. It is not unchristian to practice self-defense. It is unchristian if you do not.” –Ted Weiland

10) Reason for non-compliance:

“By employing the term assault weapons, the anti-gun lobby associates all gun owners with criminal intent. Yet, the vast majorities of gun owners are not criminals and have no intentions of assaulting anyone. They do not own assault weapons; instead, they have armed themselves with defense weapons.” –Ted Weiland

There are ten good reasons for my non-compliance. There are many more Biblical references. Ted Weiland and other experts have more to say. But ten is enough.

The question now is this: Will non-compliance make me guilty and punishable under the law? That depends on whether or not “the man” issues an executive order, edict, or whatever in violation of the Constitution. Remember this: Any action on the part of the Executive to infringe on my right to keep and bear arms must come with an Amendment to the Constitution. Otherwise it is unconstitutional and they cannot legally, under man's law, enforce it. But remember what Mr. Weiland said. If man's law is granting the right, then it can be made void by man. That is why my declaration of non-compliance is based on God's law.

Will being right with God's law protect me from prosecution for non-compliance? The secular world we live in has made man's law supreme. God and His law are often ignored. Abortion on a scale of infanticide is an example. We all know God judges it as evil. But the Supreme Court allows it.

Where do you stand? God has created us with free will. We can choose to obey man and disobey God.

“The man” in the Oval Office will spin it artfully. It will make his “Utopian Dream” followers swoon. They will say the man is doing something about those terrible “assault weapons.”

But you are not a fool. You know that Utopia is beyond man's grasp. You know that if we are faithful and obedient, the Lord will deliver us to His Utopia, in His time. You know the Utopian Dreamers and their god will lead us to an apocalypse, if we let them.

Perhaps you should say it too. Go ahead; say it, “I will not comply.” There; you look like a patriot and a saint in your new, non-compliance.

I, too, will not comply. How can we get this message to the media and to every second amendment supporter. The time is right with the threat of bypassing the constitutioin and the will of God. How can I help?

George Rogers Clark in Ohio replied:

Thanks, Murray. Mark and Patriot Post are indeed taking bold actions to grow this grassroots movement. Mark started it and the petition the Patriot Post is doing will help. But you are right, we need to expose this to NRA, media, and all possible outlets. You and I are trying to start a little protest of our own. The Patriots New Declaration Project can be found at:

If man wants to try to enforce my non-compliance, I am ready to defend my God given right to the point that the illegal orders force my hand and send me on my way to Heaven. I have faith that most will not enforce illegal executive orders. Heck, maybe the Joint Chiefs will finally have the firepower to arrest the imposter, try, convict, and jail the islamist loving marxist with his fellow jihadis.

Thanks, Sarge. As Dr. Owens likes to say, "Keep the Faith."

BTW.... I read Dr. Owens book, "Constitution Failed" recently. I admit that I have a patriotic spirit and it is not hard to get me roused up. But that man had me standing up out of my chair and doing fist pumps. Wow. History, with passion. What more could an old patriot like me ask for.

Let's open a big can of worms. As a US military vet. I took an oath to uphold and defend the the Constitution against all enemy's foreign and domestic. By legislating by executive order Mr. Obama is violating the Constitution. Their is a mechanic in place to alter/update the Constitution and it isn't executive order.

Monday, January 14, 2013 at 8:11 PM

George Rogers Clark in Ohio replied:

Open that can right up, Ed. It certainly does make him a "domestic" enemy. Thanks for your service, Ed. Right now, perhaps one of the best ways to defend our nation is to bring as many to this essay as possible. Also use the links in the essay to read Mark Alexanders words on the subject. AND MOST Important, use the link to go to and sign the petition. And when legal assembly, freedom of speech, and the right to petition do not work any longer... well, perhaps we will have to defend by other means.

Thanks again, Ed. Please stay "connected" at the Patriot Post.

You are SO right, Rat. If you are a conservative, or a Christian, or Patriot, they will attack you on a personal basis. They cannot offer a logical, reasonable argument because their views in the current context are neither.

The Second Amendment is like permission from an older sibling to do what is already authorized by one's parent. It is meaningless, except for the purpose of usurping legitimate authority. My ancestors had the Biblical responsibility, according to Luke 22: 36, to bear arms long before "Big Brother" gave us the Second Amendment. If you are a Constitutionalist (or a prostitutionalist--whatever you want to call yourself for whoring after other gods), be ready to turn your guns in as soon as the Second Amendment slips away. As for me and my house, we'll keep our fingers on the triggers.

Our Christian Obligation as Christian Israel is to Obey Gods commands and Gods Holy Word Given to Christian Israel was the word of the Lord . We must never give into a Government that decides to disarm us In any way . We have a Godly command to bear arms from Tyrants . When we , and if we dare to allow a wicked government disarm us we are disobeying the law of God . The evil one , and the wickedness he supports, is behind a disarming of this nation. Be strong , Good men. We are Christian Israel and we must not give up our rights by Yahweh . Resistance to tyrants is submission to God , And submission to God , is the end of tyrants. Be strong America . Stand your ground. Submit not to them. Resist , I say Resist. Fight them in the law making bodies , fight them in the courts , resist I say Christian Israel . May we be guided by Yahweh, and his Laws.

Good question, Dan. A very good question. I sense from it that you feel the same pain as I do. Dan, I wish I could do more about infanticide. George,

Great article and theme. Compliance should not even be a thought, much less a question.

However, unless I've read it wrong, it still sounds like you're touting the constitution as the guaranteer of "keep and bear arms" versus the mandate of His Word, or at least as an equal to it.

The constitution and it's god We The People is a major part of the problem, not the solution.

Friday, January 18, 2013 at 4:42 PM

George Rogers Clark in Ohio replied:

Thank you for your kind words. And not to be argumentative, but I listed ten reasons for non-compliance and none of them were my constitutional rights. The whole point of the article was to compliment and extend what Mark Alexander wrote by providing the quotes of Scripture and Ted Weiland's quotes. It was about our God-given responsibility to protect. My source for ALL of the quotes, and my inspiration to write, were from Ted Weiland's "Firearms Scripturally Defended", a powerful teaching I only recently received.... along with my copy of Bible Law vs. US Constitution.

I did not choose to attack the constitution, Chris, because the centerpiece of my commentary were those ten points and a 1200 word limit, which really is quite generous on the part of the Patriot Post.

Friday, January 18, 2013 at 10:27 PM

Chris in Wisconsin replied:

George,

There were just a couple of statements that gave the impression that it was being held up as an equal or close to it. Overall, it was good.

I used to be a constitutionalist for over two decades and have forgotten more about the constitution than most people know.

We were commanded not to add or subtract from His Perfect Moral Law. Deuteronomy 4: 1-2. The constitutions make provision for We The People to do just that via legislatures and executive offices and are therefore in direct violation of His command and, as you can see, that has allowed our enemies to to subvert us and lead us to the state of corruption and moral degradation we now find our nation (We The People) in.
