Democrat Political Exercise: Bend and Stretch the Law
Unless you’ve been safely tucked away in a cave on the dark side of the moon for the past 200 years, you probably know that Democrats invented election fraud. The most recent example of their talent and expertise was the special election in New York’s 26th Congressional District, where a far left Democrat masqueraded as a Tea Party candidate. Correctly counting on the laziness of voters to know who they are actually voting for – does “Barak Hussein Obama” ring a bell? – he managed to garner nine percent of the conservative vote, allowing the openly declared liberal Democrat to win.
So, it looks like they want to play hardball. Well, turnabout is fair play, is it not? Here is an idea for a strategy that is completely legal, but can cause havoc, disarray, and financial disaster among Democrats.
Let us start putting up our own candidates in Democrat primaries. It’s not all that difficult to get on primary ballots. It usually involves coming up with a few thousand dollars and a few thousand petition signatures, sometimes less, depending on where and what office is being run for. The candidates can run on any platform they think will garner votes, radical, liberal, moderate, conservative, whatever. As most Democrats, and lots of Republicans, too, have shown, lying through your teeth is not a problem. There is no law, either, that says you have to be sincere about wanting to get elected, or really, anything else.
This is a win-win-win strategy. It will force Democrats to spend lots of their election cash and time in meaningless primary races, leaving them strapped and exhausted come main election time. Questions and challenges raised by our candidates will force them to defend their largely indefensible positions publicly, exposing their platform’s unworkableness, and/or forcing the Democrats to lie even more.
And – this is the part I love – our candidates might actually win. Should this happen, imagine the gnashing of teeth and rending of garments when, the week before the election, our winners drop out, leaving no time to realistically replace them, throwing the elections to the conservatives.
Is this legal? Yes. Is it ethical? No, but part of Obama-Soetoro’s “change” has been to toss adherence to ethics in elections out the window. In addition, they have made it unmistakably clear that they are out to shred the Constitution and turn the country into a neo-fascist dictatorship. As stated above, turnabout is fair play. Let’s start doing exactly what they do, and see how long it takes for them to cry foul.
Frankly, the truth is that a majority of Americans are fed up with governments – national, state, and local – and political parties that ignore their wishes, that marginalize, patronize, and talk down to them, that listen only to big money interests, and feel free to rig elections in a growing variety of ways. Though the fraud has been exposed on numerous occasions, prosecutions have been rare to non-existent. Al Franken (D-MN) stands out as one of the more egregious examples, as does the case of the Philadelphia New Black Panthers, but there are dozens more.
Sadly, I think we will never restore the rule of law by following the rules while the other side openly and ostentatiously tramples on them. Indeed, we are in the disastrous mess we are in because We, the People, have abided by the law, apparently in hopes that we could actually lead by example. Unfortunately, leftists are not teachable. They are dogmatic zealots who have total faith that they are superior to everyone else, and thus always right. In the meantime, they have become radical to the extreme, claiming that their ends justify whatever means they choose, including ignoring the law and violence. Given the very real possibility that our economy, society, and our nation may collapse as a result of this unfettered radicalism, it is time to fight fire with fire.
This need not be a formal effort. Individuals or small groups can pull it off with relative ease. However, as in any guerilla war, if enough of us do it, it will not be possible to defend against it. Since the Republican establishment refuses to stand up and fight back, it’s up to us – the grassroots rank-and-file, the “common” people – to defend what we have left without them. This seems like it might be a good way to start. So c'mon everyone, political exercise time! Bend and stretch!
