Man on a Mission

· Wednesday, January 4, 2012

This great nation of ours, appears to be in big trouble. In 2008, 69,456,897 well-meaning but badly mislead Americans voted Barack Hussein Obama into the highest, most powerful office on Earth. He was a virtually unknown political hack whose only experience was as a Community Organizer in the most corrupt metropolis in America, Chicago.

Subsequent to his inauguration, Mr. Obama has refused to provide a valid Certificate of Live Birth. He has taken into his administration far more individuals than any of his predecessors.

He advocates activities, behavior and conduct antithetical to the vast majority of Americans. He has denigrated the accepted standards of conduct expected of an American. He is totally unable to speak without a teleprompter.

He has lied repeatedly. His Office of the Presidency, illegal as it may be, is closed to the public in spite of his repeated promises to have the most open and transparent presidency ever. He has committed numerous acts in violation of his Oath of Office. He ordered air strikes on Libya, a sovereign nation not at war with the United States.

He in collusion with his Attorney General attempted to make a laughing stock of Governor Brewer of Arizona when her administration attempted legally to evict invaders from a foreign country. Her actions were authorized by Article I, Section 10, Paragraph 3 of the Constitution.

He aggravated the situation by inviting foreign nations to take legal action against the State of Arizona.

He and Mr. Holder engaged in an unwise, illegal program called, "Fast and Furious" which resulted directly in the murder of a United States citizen who was also a Federal Agent.

He and Mr. Holder have stated publicly, they will not enforce the Defense of Marriage Act, an intentional and direct violation of their oaths of office.

In the considered opinion of this old citizen, both Mr. Obama and Mr. Holder must be impeached. Considering the Democratic majority in the Senate, the likelihood of conviction of both is far from certain. Impeachment is, however a disgrace not to be ignored.

The mission in which this citizen is engaged is even more unlikely but worthy of every American's consideration. American women are the real backbone of the American family; however, our women have been deliberately excluded from full participation in the political processes that plague America today.

During my life I have witnessed to all manner of misconduct by those who accept proudly the label 'Politician.' Most, if not all the women who attempt to serve this great nation an a 'political' endeavor are gentler, kinder and more moral than their male counterparts. Party affiliation and loyalty are to the males more important that are the values upon which America has depended for almost Four-Hundred years.

There was a solitary female in the United States House of Representatives when Woodrow Wilson asked for a Declaration of War against Germany, Representative Rankin, voting her conscience was the lone dissenting vote. http://womenshistory.about.com/od/congress/a/jeanette_rankin.htm

There is no doubt in my mind, none whatsoever, that the Republican Party is losing ground every day that the party leaders stand by and listen to the hogwash coming from the male pretenders to the party nomination for President. If ever there was a time for a 180 degree course correction, it is right now, today. The United States is fortunate to have two principled, intelligent and savvy ladies capable of righting the Ship of State, steering a course to prosperity, honesty in government, all directed by the Constitution of the United States.

I propose that the leadership of the Republican Party, following the lead of, We the People as embodied in the Tea Party movement, announce a necessary departure from old protocols and to make right some terrible wrongs, declare their support for the Conservative Team of:

Michele Bachmann for President and Sarah Palin for Vice-President.

...in a perfect world it would be so.

But in the real world it is an inescapable fact that what people seek in a leader is described by a word you'll never hear mentioned in any media commentary, and that word is "virility". Women, who determine who becomes President, prefer a virile man over a non-virile man, and even if they like a woman candidate, if a man is equally appealing, they will vote for him instead because he is more virile. Michelle Bachmann, who is appealing in almost every way, lacks the quality of virility. There is no other discernible reason why her popularity was no higher than it was. In the end it just boiled down to something lacking and that something was the perception of masculine strength. In America, women are at a natural disadvantage when it comes to the "beauty pageants" we call elections. It's in our genes. It goes back to pre-historic eras when the strongest man was the leader. Men were deferential to him, and women trusted him to keep them all safe. That primeval instinct is still with us and will determine the course of any election involving a female candidate.

That doesn't mean that gender perceptions can't be reversed and a woman can't be perceived as more "virile" than a male opponent. Margaret Thatcher would be an example. Also, it's very possible that Sarah Palin could be viewed as being the more virile of the two 2008 Republican candidates because she had more "fire in the belly" than her running mate. He had old age countering his virility.

As for Sarah Palin as a vice-president running mate, the best thing to shake up the whole race would be if she were to run for the Vice-Presidency as an Independent. That's right. No party affiliation. A straight forward run to be Vice-President. I'd just love to see the looks on all the faces of the Washington and media elites when hearing such news for the first time. Someone should make a movie...

Correct on impeachment, which can be achieve by electing constitutionl conservatives to take over congress. Wrong though on the ladies, as neither now is running. America must come together behind whoever is the Republican nominee, no third party to guarantee Chairman Obamao's reign of terrror. Congress is the key!

Impeachment would not end with a conviction. One who is ineligible for the elected office he holds cannot be impeached. However, the House of Representatives could initiate impeachment proceedings against both traitors, compel their appearance at hearings, and keep them immobilized with interrogatories until January, 2012.

Speaker Boehner would serve the People well by adapting an anti-Hippocratic stance: First do harm to the ability of Obama to do harm to America.

But, alas, all elected federal officials appear to be incompetent, fearful, little cowards. If there ever were any patriotic players, they took their balls and went home.
