To an Intolerable Regret?

We are our republic. The achievement of establishing our sovereignty apart from British domination by way of the success of the American Revolution gave the Constitution framers a basis that would allow all Americans individually to have representation with their government. A convention was initiated with this goal in mind and a renowned leadership took up the task that would insure that intent. A written, binding Constitution was drawn up for ratification by the people of every state. Ben Franklin was asked at the conclusion of America’s Constitutional Convention, what type of government we would have. His answer, “A republic, if we can keep it.” We became a republic. Ben’s answer included a cautionary warning: he readily implied that our republic can be lost. Since we are the republic and if it can be lost, its loss means, we lose.

A political movement within the Democrat party has been revealing itself. A Constitutional crisis is looming from a proportionally very small ruling class that has every intention to control America’s people and our country’s destiny, as only they determine. Through patience and time, an infiltration of socialists into our political and institutional systems have incrementally changed policies against the principles our country was founded upon and the authoritative intent of our Constitution. These people have projected legitimate causes for concern; because, a seized political power is the result and our liberty is in peril. It will not be the better way to fully appreciate what all liberty entails if by design it is taken away from us by those who do not care to consider a majority’s dissent. Today and every day going forward we are faced with the same question, again: what form of government will we have? With that in mind, we should also ask, why hold to the republic government we do have, rather than it changing into another?

Our Constitution is still our binding covenant with government. Compatriots of Constitutional conservatism among us who thought it essential and were able, have done extensive research into our present socialist movement.* Laid out from deep and thorough investigation, supported in total by many hundreds of sited references, there is mounting evidence revealing more substantial warnings; from them, harsher realities seem to be in store. Research into this movement goes all the way back to Lenin’s revolution of 1917 and the creation here of a subservient Communist party (CPUSA) within a few years of that event. It has been here ever since. Although through distance of time, the roots of today’s movement (Obama and minions) are traced back to the delusional mind of Marx; but, they have employed newer strategies for success. What we have been witness to already from the presidency of Obama gives all credence for what is in store from the remainder of his term. They seek and intend for another. Our Constitution allows on our behalf for that not to happen if enough of us so choose to remain our republic.

We are not too few for the hope we seek and foster to halt yet another socialist experiment, to lay hold of a semblance of the republic we have taken for granted; although, as a result, many have now come to most cherish what our founders unselfishly gave us (myself included). We look forward with mostly a hope of heart that the next election’s candidates will be in our favor. That time is too long to wait but that time will be fleeting, until then. A trepidation persists and has been very difficult to accept. Purposeful deceptions and stealth intentions have caught us off guard and we are wanting denial. Denial is a form of psychological protection but reality always has its way. Take to heart and courage; understanding a threat, an enemy, gives reason for resolve and hope for our opposing commitment to meet with success.

Who can say that previous generations did not feel that the crises they faced were not the most dire threats to themselves and/or country? For them, no doubt, they indeed were. It has been argued that our civil war was the most tragic and extreme crisis for us as a people and country. We should not diminish that chapter’s significance. It has given testimony to what extent man would go to defend liberty (even as sought by both sides). However, in our present situation, there is enough sound reason from evidence to conclude our republic is facing its greatest threat(s).* (**) A movement is seeking to wreak havoc on American liberty and abolish our republican form of government with another attempt for the delusion of a utopian socialist state. The past is proclaiming this folly results in catastrophe. The present generation are now witness to some (so far) of these same results.

Our founders had oppressive and failed governments already figured out; they were not fools neglecting the lessons of history. And so, should we also not accept fool’s errands that our Constitution was intended to protect against? And has its original intent not served that noble purpose? And can it still? It hangs by the proverbial thread; its authority is neglected by those who usurp its authority, adjudicate from unintended meanings, mock it and ignore it. This is not just from those who have wishful thinking; to a great extent, this has already come to pass. From within our political power structure, an anti-republic, anti-capitalist faction has infiltrated and are seizing power, abusing power.

There really is no basis to conclude that our Constitution’s original intent has failed; but rather, there are men and women unwilling to be bound by its constraints, its methods of rule. Furthermore, an electorate and their representatives have become too complacent and ignorant of their role in their government; the Constitution’s authority is neglected. Our founding generation knew first hand and to a mutual consensus the consequences that result from tyrannical governments. Other than veterans and all others who sacrifice in their line of duty, a great many of us have been insulated with the advantage their sacrifice has allowed; many of us have suffered lesser hardship or none. How fortunate those or we who only have seen calamity and the price paid through a lens or book or through any defenders’ distressing tales. Don’t we all at times have indifference to adversity and sacrifice; it doesn’t matter by our escape from it?

Today’s socialist movement continues mobilizing, learning, planning and growing. Obscured in the shadows and in plain view, various other organizers and supporters scheme and review progress. They have successfully recruited vast numbers of people into their ranks. It is well funded to advance and to buy political favors. It enjoys a vast complicit press. It has subverted our education system and poisoned the minds within it and has intent to continue. Those behind this movement are very determined and they have a decades long head start. We have contemplated the significance of what has and is occurring. We now know what Obama meant when he mentioned the “transformation of America.” Our destiny’s counter motives are within our control, not out of it, unless we do nothing. We’ve aimed to do something; because, how dare they and who are they who mean to determine our fate? With lies and manipulating rhetoric for deceptions, through collusions of conspiracy, by their insolent control they insist we should submit? By their disgusting conceit that determines to act without consent, neglecting law, through their need of and implementation of controls, edicts and threats, through czars under no congressional oversight, our objections to such account for nothing? Adding to insult, they choose to fund their intentions and our submission with the theft of ours’ and our children’s money? Through crisis by intent and/or by incompetence, this ruling class takes advantage; they rationalize then seek and gain support for their actions. By the negative results of their actions why are they without any shame or humility? Does their insistent ideology drive them into mania? Their aims are meant for illusions that will compel us or force us into a dependent servitude.

Over recent years, we’ve heard and read from each other and through various other sources who intend to fight back. In that, we know we are not alone. This gives great moral support and validates mutual concerns. All our side’s leaders must understand but are we not sure enough of them do? How ironic: we have basis that our representatives are failing in representing us. We must convince the rest who are intimidated by political correctness undeserving of reason, let alone blunders of bipartisanship concessions or by continual shenanigans of beltway politics. Every today is for opportunity to act, not later or up until ballets are cast.

Our counter to this socialist revolution has to be a restoration of our founding revolution; for, how is what is at stake now any less? And it is by the success of our founding revolution, those same principles are validation for the same unity of hope and resolve now that arose through another grassroots consensus: our Tea Party movement. We hold the moral high ground again even though the progressives thinks they do. We can tell by their fruits and does not rotten fruit more readily spoil the rest if not thrown out? Take to heart that by their reactions to ours, we can have all confidence that our positions have merit. And if we have merit, to what extent do the odds against us is it for us to determine whether our resolve and perseverance is bound to fail? Through us, by Providence we can persevere and prevail. For posterity still, is reason to prevail. Pray for our cause because it is by His inalienable rights granted and then confirmed in reality that we have attained our liberty. Since our liberty has been extended to all, we are all the more able to unite through mutual obligation (and even win some who are in opposition). Take on courage for determination; liberty’s foes mean to subjugate us; it is already upon us. (It must also be recalled: at the same time on another front, radical Islam justifies their means to their end; and, if either threat could be less than the other, by what measure are they together?)**

Deeply consider with sincere reflection what our ancestors fought for; it was of great sacrifice; not for themselves only but for their children and all their fellow man. And not only what they fought for, but also with proper reverence to His glory, it was He whom they sought for guidance and blessing. Our movement has risen in honor to do the same. Our cause must produce the greater opposition or victory will elude us. We have our resources and each other. There is trust from wisdom; our founders sought it out, attained it and gave it forward freely. Is it now we in our time who will keep our republic or lose it to an intolerable regret? Either way, the outcome will be passed on to our descendants and history must record our noble attempts in its defense.

“The preservation of the sacred fire of liberty and the destiny of the republican model of government are justly considered as deeply, perhaps as finally, staked on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people.” –First inaugural address: George Washington 1789.
