Obama: Trading shots"I've just read your message regarding Senator Barbara Boxer's attack on your site. I hope you can take small comfort in knowing that many people unfamiliar with The Patriot Post will now become acquainted with it. Boxer's condemnation is an excellent endorsement. Nobody familiar with the outstanding work of The Patriot Post will be misled by Boxer. I will continue in my fiscal and moral support of your organization, as I trust others will." --Walter
"Patriots, your publication and products are the best. Rest assured that your staff are not alone. Any attack against The Patriot Post is an attack against me, and I am quite sure hundreds of thousands of your fans believe likewise. Keep the faith." --Shelly
"I just sent Senator Boxer a note asking for help with my business: 'I am sure that your promotion of The Patriot Shop in connection with that terrible sticker that you advertised at a televised press conference has boosted their Internet traffic and business orders 10 fold. What can I do to get one of the most powerful people in our government to advertise my business?' What was it that the Clinton machine used to say? 'All publicity is good publicity.'" --Susan
"PatriotShop.US should immediately begin a national petition drive to encourage Barbara Boxer to change her name. The extremely violent image of a blood sport being part of the name of a highly visible United States Senator could incite someone to violence. After all, she worked long and hard to attain and maintain the title of Senator, therefore, that title should not be sullied by her violent and uncivil last name. If we can't call her 'Ma'am,' we shouldn't be forced to call her Senator Bxxxx (sorry, I just couldn't bring myself to write that violent word again). Certainly Senator Bxxxx would not want to be a hypocrite while doing her part to bring civil rhetoric back the the political discourse." --Peter
"Barbra Boxer thinks nothing of condoning the deaths of thousands of full-term babies by the hideous practice of partial-birth abortion. She has declared open season on them and no bag limit. Oh, and for the record, if she contacts me, please refer to me as 'Dr.' not 'Mr.' I worked hard for that title." --Henry
"If the mass murderer of Tucson had used his car to plow through the people assembled in front of Safeway, likely killing more than he accomplished with a firearm, what would they be calling the incident and him? A driving? The carman? Would all the knee-jerk attackers calling for more infringement of our rights be calling for more restrictions on drivers? Surely those restrictions would prevent a criminal from obtaining a car to commit a crime. Oh, wait ... they do that everyday all day. Guns don't kill people -- political correctness does!" --Tina
"Senator Boxer might recall that the largest U.S. mass murder (excepting the 9/11 attack), was the arson of Happy Land night club in New York City, in 1988. A drunk customer (yes, alcohol was involved), who had been thrown out of the club earlier, murdered 87 citizens by arson in a fire started with a 50 cents worth of gasoline and two matches. Last I checked, gasoline and matches are much more accessible than Glocks and high-capacity magazines." --Greg
"I am disappointed that you removed the Liberal Hunting License from PatriotShop.US. I would like to purchase them ALL and distribute them far and wide." --Colonel, USMC
Editor Reply: Let me reiterate, Boxer is serious about shutting us down. I have set aside my pride in first principles in this instance, rather than surrender all the other battlefronts on which we are now engaged. And, I hasten to add, being ever-loyal to my team, I feel a deep obligation to meet payroll for them and their families. That said, if you would commit to meeting our payroll for the foreseeable future, I will gladly put the sticker back on the site.

"The Rodeo Clown Posse was led out of Tucson in a cloud of dust with a hay-burning frenzy by Arizona's Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik. Close in tow were hyper-boiling politicians and the usual lefty print and TV media cowboys such as Rep. James Clyburn, columnist Paul Krugman, TV antagonista Chris Matthews, and even our own Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. ... The arrest warrant, hastily drawn up by the shallow yet influential chatterers, derives from a persistent liberal theme that political adversaries should be disarmed and neutralized by eliminating their ability to speak freely in any forum in any style. ... Free speech is the currency for a marketplace of liberty, private pursuits, and economic choices; in America, it has been remarkably free from anarchy and violence. If speech is proscribed or in any way curtailed or restricted, the ballot box will no longer be the perfection of opinion. ... The Rodeo Clown Posse, having neither a persuasive idea nor an attractive wrapper to express it, would like to whip up an indiscriminate and symbolic hanging instead of recognizing that more speech, however expressed, is better than speech suppressed. The rest of us must be vigilant to keep this pernicious posse from finding a rope." --columnist Geoffrey Hunt

Opinion in Brief
"[W]ithin 48 hours of the [Arizona] shooting, Representative Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY) promised to introduce stricter gun control legislation as soon as her staff could draw it up.... [W]e must take responsibility for our own lives -- and be prepared to defend those lives with weapons we carry for protection. ... Such is life. As long as we are on this earth, criminals will be seeking the opportunity to carry out their evil schemes. And if we respond to their schemes as Representative McCarthy wants to, by passing more and more gun control laws, we'll inevitably be disappointed to find that criminals will ignore the new laws just as easily as they ignored the old ones. In the end, such an approach will only hamper the ability of law abiding citizens to get their hands on the weapons 'most preferred' for self defense, effectively transforming more and more innocents into sitting ducks for the next Loughner whenever and wherever he decides to kill in cold blood. Our lives are our own responsibilities. We cannot entrust their protection to agents of the state, whether those agents are legislators, police officers, or federal agents." --columnist AWR Hawkins
Re: The Left
"There are many heroes who showed indomitable courage and grace under fire during [the] horrific Tucson massacre. Blowhard Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik was not one of them. ... Sounding more like an MSNBC groupie ... than a responsible law enforcement official, Dupnik baselessly suggested that the shooting was part of a larger conspiracy and railed against 'vitriol' from limited-government activists who are stoking 'anger against elected officials.' Dupnik's mouth has done more to stoke self-inflicted ire against elected government clowns than anything the right could muster against him. Had the hyper-partisan Democrat been more in tune with his job than the media airwaves, the murderous, maniacal gunman might have been stopped. ... [D]ecent Americans understand that he and his civilian counterparts have traveled a smear too far. Despite desperate attempts by the progressive left to pin the massacre on the 'harsh tone' of its political opponents, a vast majority of Americans reject the cynical campaign to criminalize conservatism, suppress political free speech and capitalize on violent crime for electoral gain. At the risk of being accused of inciting violence, you might say they've done gone and shot themselves in the foot." --columnist Michelle Malkin
Editor's Note: Michelle Malkin recently wrote a piece titled "The progressive 'climate of hate:' An illustrated primer, 2000-2010," shedding light on the Left's own version of violent hate crime over the last decade. To see the long list of images demonstrating Democrats "climate of hate," click here.
The Gipper
"The principle of liberty and justice for all is one of our Nation's most fundamental goals and responsibilities. The vicious conduct of criminals against innocent, law-abiding citizens, however, continues to victimize millions of Americans each year. Our heritage of liberty and justice for all is threatened by this toll, so all of us -- government officials, the criminal justice system, opinion-makers, and members of the public -- must heed and help crime victims. ... We must always remember that the responsibility for crimes lies with those who commit them, not with the innocent victims. ... Those who so successfully attend to the needs and rights of innocent victims of crime deserve our gratitude and our assistance as they seek 'liberty and justice for all.'" --Ronald Reagan

"While progressivism was born of an earnest desire to advance personal freedom, the ideology devolved into a collection of approaches that would lock people in the chains of a centrally planned society, with progressive elites withholding the keys to the locks. ... We need look no farther than our progressive-in-chief for the embodiment of the stubborn pseudo-intellectual who views himself as society's infallible guiding hand. Barack Obama wants government to 'spread the wealth' by taking wealth from high earners who spread it more broadly and deeply than government ever could. ... Obama believes that people are wasting valuable time 'pushing away challenges, looking backwards' -- presumably focusing on really dreadful stuff like wholesome values, common sense, and facts evidenced by history. Barack the magic driver says that Republicans critical of his magic bus 'can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.' ... A hideous infestation called progressivism has uglified the White House and the Democrat Party. The tyrannous legislative and regulatory rampages that Obama and the Democrats undertook made something else clear. Until progressivism is flushed from the party, Democrats must never again be entrusted with substantial influence in government." --columnist Chuck Roger
Faith & Family
"[F]or Leftism ... there are no sacred texts. ... The demotion of the sacred in general and of sacred texts specifically is at the center of Leftist thinking. ... If, to cite the most obvious example, the Bible is sacred, then I have to revere it more than I revere my own feelings in assessing what is right and wrong. But for the Left, what is right and wrong is determined by every individual's feelings, not by anything above the individual. This is a major reason why the Left, since Karl Marx, has been so opposed to Judeo-Christian religion. For Judaism and Christianity, God and the Bible are above the self. Indeed, Western civilization was built on the idea that the individual and society are morally accountable to God and to the moral demands of that book. That was the view, incidentally, of every one of the Founders, including deists such as Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin. This is entirely unacceptable to the Left. ... [T]he bottom line is this: If it [the Constitution] is not regarded as sacred, it is nothing more than what anyone believes about any social issue. Which is precisely what the Left wants it to be -- providing, of course, that the 'anyone' is a liberal. For the Left, there are no sacred texts. There are only sacred (liberal) feelings." --columnist Dennis Prager
The Last Word
"Since there are many more conservatives than liberals, and conservatives have so many guns, people often wonder why conservatives don't just round up all the liberals and ship them to Antarctica to be forced to mine for jewels and gold. Well, there is a very good reason for that: by a strict constructionist interpretation of the American Constitution, there is no support for being able to deport liberals to a mining camp. Now, if conservatives were a bit more flexible with their view of the Constitution, they would say things like, 'Well, we have to remember it's a living document, and the Founding Fathers hadn't even thought of the threat of hippies running around free when they wrote it.' And then they'd look to the Commerce Clause and say, 'Well, keeping liberals from meddling in America and forcing them do something useful like mining sure would help the economy, so it's within the government's power.' And then it'd just be a manner of scheduling all the boats to get liberals to Antarctica. But that would violate the spirit of the Constitution since, by plain English interpretations of the government's powers, we can't forcefully ship liberals to Antarctica no matter how much people may think that would help the country. And that's the point of the Constitution: people are constantly changing their ideas of what is good and bad, but the Constitution is much harder to change. It puts limits on what the government can do, and those limits can only be changed when huge majorities agree to it through the amendment process. And even after ObamaCare, there inexplicably isn't enough support for a 'Liberals Are to Be Sent to Mines in Antarctica' amendment." --humor columnist Frank J. Fleming

Mark,
As a group we do meet your payroll with our donations. Your team is our team; we are all in this fight together.
To let any of those pukes in government subvert our freedom in the name of their liberal sensibilities is exactly how they have gotten SALT passed, unemployment benefits passed etc. We all must stop them and fight all fights. Set up a defense fund for the Patriot Post to fight that Wicked Witch of the West. In spite of my less than satisfactory income level I will provide financial support to fight Boxer over this travesty.

You'd think that after all of the examples cited over the last week of the dominion of hate speech and all of it's absurd practitioners as being largely from the left, that Barbara Boxer would shut the hell up. But no! Liberalisms delusion comes from a willful blindness to the truth.
Congratulations and thanks California voters for re-electing this jerk to another 6 years of political torture for America.

It is a fact that one of the reasons Japan didn't invade the lower 48 at the beginning of WW2 was they were aware of the armed citizens "behind every tree and rock". Something China and the U.N. are also aware of. Stay strong.

We are facing more freedom and unconstitutional laws from this government. The idea that a legally armed citizen may be restricted from within 1000 feet of a federal official is once again making criminals out of good citizens. How many citizens were armed at the Arizona shooting scene? I betcha if some smart reporter asked he'd find at least 5 citizens were armed within 1000 feet of the shooting. One of the men who took the shooter down was armed, legally armed but used good judgment and did not pull his weapon. Had the shooter reloaded there is no doubt that armed citizen may have been the only one available to stop the shooter.
If this 1000 foot unarmed zone is passed, I would think it only fair to require a "1000 foot rolling cordon of security" to insure we armed citizens know where those legal boundaries are. That security should have signs stating the zone is weapon free and violators will be prosecuted. Even better, let's require every OFFICIAL to carry a transponded that emits a signal 1100 feet and those citizens with weapons can carry a receiver to warn them of the gun free zone!
I'm sure this shooter would have obeyed this new law and not crossed that security line with his weapon...After all...our laws prevent crime.

I think what the liberals and anti-gun left really fear most, that if it ever got right down to it, liberal ranks through attrition would likely dwindle if the use of our 2nd amendment rights were necessary to defend against a repressive government and an over reactive left agenda.
The traditional self-sustaining, hardy, independent, ‘live off the land’ conservatives know how to take care of themselves and their families.
This is quite the contrary in the reliant left who have been coupled with and sustained by mother America’s umbilical cord from birth, and want to remain in the cradle until death.
A little ugliness, if God forbid it ever got down to it, might be a good thing for our country and our traditional values.

Certainly we experienced a terrible act in AZ. It is asinine to blame conservative anything (tea party, talk radio, etc.)for a nutball's actions. It looks to me like he has been in need of help a long time and fell throught the cracks. I do need to chastise the Patriot Post for knuckling under to Barbra Boxer's sniveling. You were not selling anything you need to apologize for. I for one feel we conservatives need to learn to take it to the libs. PR wise, they clean our clocks on a regular basis.

Send a letter and or email to your representatives about free speech rights and our constitution. I just did below.
The Honorable ( ),
Barbara Boxer has apparently set her sites on the Patriot Post, a conservative newsletter devoted to the principles of our founding fathers, to the rule of law, and the United States Constitution.
http://patriotpost.us/
Please help fight, you and your colleagues, any of Boxer's attempts to shut down the Patriot and our free speech rights.
The PatriotPost.US has a very large Conservative following, and voting block I might add, that likely was helpful in propelling numerous Conservative Republicans into power this year.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Bob W.

Sen. Boxer seems to forget the 2004 liberal novelties for sale including the the "Kill Bush" t-shirt complete with blood splatter, and the "Kill Bush" tote bag with a picture of John Kerry pretending to be macho. We can all agree that John Kerry's attempt at machismo is merely laughable, but what about the rest? Those who objected to that t-shirt were ridiculed by the liberals as not being able to take a joke.

A small Baptist church in Tuscon wanted to stage a "protest" at the funeral of the nine year old victim in the Tuscon shooting last week. It doesn't matter why they wanted to "protest," it is self serving and reprehensible to turn this funeral into a mockery of this child's death..
To have allowed this small "church" to have a voice in this funeral would have made a mockery of our country and our morals. Instead it was "ordered" to move several feet away from the church entrance. A group of citizens wore "wings" and formed a ring around the protesters so they could be muted.
This killing was by a deranged young man whose "condition," while recognized was never taken seriously by the scores of individuals who thought it "politically incorrect" to bring it to the attention of those who might have helped him by intervening before his illness reached this climax. And yet we have a group of "citizens" who are allowed to spew hate towards those that don't agree with them, thereby giving them a platform for their views. My politics are non-partisan and I abhor all the rhetoric that passes for "acceptable dialogue." I am the first to beg for eliminating this bipartisanship hate mongering, but this young man was less motivated by politics than by his own demons which were allowed to foment into demonizing our government. Had those around him been less inclined to believe the rants as a political "right" then he may have received the help he so desperately needed.
A small "faction" was able to remove GOD from our schools and public buildings because the 86% of the rest of the US population said it was their right to not be "offended by our prayers." Others are testing for further abrogation of our citizen "rights." When we back away for "political correctness" we are GIVING AWAY our rights. It grieves me that "Angels" are needed to give this young girl her proper funeral, but hopefully Angels will continue to protect us from similar hate.

John Boehner deserves praise for not selling himself out to political invites to state dinners that applaude dubious honorees. Maybe we have a man as Speaker who really is fearful for and who loves his country above political posturing.
Speaking of political posturing, rumor has it that Obama and his advisors are already plotting how he can appear to be yet another comeback kid by acting the part of Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan. As they study books and tapes of their comeback, we all had better study the changes in Obama's tone so we know when the acting is being used as the tactic to get him re elected.

I think the right shouldn't get wound up around religion. Our Founding Fathers viewed Christianity as a tool to keep the ignorant masses under control, which I agree with. Without religion, democracy cannot work for the vast majority who cannot control themselves.
Christianity in itself is a left wing religion. It emphasizes equality, a break with tradition, communism, and "the masses". It would be smart for us, the right wing, to distance ourselves from the low level IQ "religious right" and emphasize quality over quantity. We can still support religion as a way to keep everyone inline, but we need to become an intellectual movement. Only that will ensure our cause will prevail, the Constitution will prevail.

Yet another left wing radical liberal, Barbara Boxer, seeks to censor and violate Americans right of free speech and an American company's right - freedom of the press. It seems liberals/progressives cannot "tolerate" Free Speech when it does not come from someone of their own ilk. The hysteria coming from the left following the tragedy in Tuscon is quite frightening and should give pause to each and every American. Liberals are now the "minority party" in the U.S. House, but they still act as majority, demonizing the opposition given any opportunity (especially in the wake of a tragedy in Tuscon). Most Americans realize the Tea Party is not the problem, nor have they generated this type of violence or hatred. The violent racist hatred has been contrived by the left in America to diminish any affect the Tea Party movement has had in America. Liberal/Progressives are intolerant of Free Speech and the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. It's a pathetic display of leadership by the left to silence it's critics at all costs. Even denying Americans Constitutional Rights!

My anger toward our current politicians and overall political system has nothing to do the actions of any political action group, conservative radio/TV personality or even the liberal media. (The conservative radio/TV personalities have a voice simply because they are saying what the majority want to hear.) My anger is the product of politicians no longer realizing the responsiblity they accept upon winning an election for whatever office. It is to represent the people that elected them. For some reason politicians these days feel compelled to tell us what we need because they are more intelligent or better yet "enlightened" than the majority of the voters that put them the office they currently hold. The current modus operandi is to manipulate the obvious message received in the election process into what they have already decided is best. Regardless of the wishes of their constituents. Somehow we are not only supposed to accept this, we're supposed to like it! Having said all of that nothing, not one single thing, that I have said should give any indication that I would approve of or encourage violence toward anyone including politicians. I can and will disagree with the current system in an intelligent and peaceful manner. I can and will continue to vote and at some point they will get the message or they will be replaced. It's that simple.
There is no one that claims to be conservative or a member of the Tea Party that condones the actions of the individual in Arizona. In fact, most conservatives would say that the just punishment for such an individual is execution, swift and sure. I like the fact that in Arizona insanity is not a defense. If he is determined to be insane then he will be sentenced to serve time in a mental instituion until such time as he is no longer considered insane. At that point he must serve out the rest of his sentence in prison. This should increase the use of the death penalty even for those considered insane.

Let's see...
There are 30,000+ gun laws in force in this Nation -- some 600 per State -- with more being enacted every week.
Background checks are mandated for every firearm purchase made through federally-licensed dealers.
Every purchaser of a firearm must fill out federal Form 4473 which contains 14 questions which must be answered truthfully. Filling our that Form incorrectly or falsifying information is a federal felony. The 14 questions range from citizenship to mental history to domestic violence.
No one under the age of 21 may possess a handgun. Only citizens of a particular State are permitted to buy a handgun from that State.
A felon is prohibited from owning a firearm or any bullets. Each count could net him 5 years. Having a pistol in his possession with 10 bullets in the clip requires a 55 year sentence.
Automatic weapons -- "assault weapons" -- have been outlawed for civilian ownership since 1934.
Every State has enacted prohibitions against people carrying firearms to certain venues, including political gatherings, airports, churches, schools, government buildings, and more.
Every State has enacted prohibitions against murder, ADW, assault.
Over two million times each year, civilian gun owners interdict crimes in progress, most often without firing a shot. A determined citizen, willing to use his or her firearm is usually enough tpo deter the perpetrator.
The Second Amendment reads, in part, "...the right of the people to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED."
Since 1963, Libbies seem to have forgotten how to read plain English.
Now, tell me, please, which of those more than 30,000 laws would have prevented those shootings?

Dear Patriot,
First, thank-you for the stand that you take in disseminating the truth in a clear and informative manner. Second, in response to Senator Boxer's inane comments, I suggest a new section in the Post dedicated to documenting all of the stupidity that pours from her mouth; called Boxer Shorts.
Again, thank-you, and keep up the fight.

Did anybody notice the mass murder in Puerto Rico on New Years Day? A man sprayed his family with Kerosene and set them on fire with a blow torch, killing at least 5 (some died days later). Where is the outcry against the "big oil" for producing the kerosene? How did "they" allow this obviously mentally unstable man get a hold of the kerosene and blow torch. Why aren't there more regulations controlling these substances?
Ludicrous of course, but it's interesting how the media likes to focus our attention on subjects more in keeping with their agenda.

Dear Public Servant Boxer - You work for us, the American taxpayers. Please list one intelligent thing that you have accomplished that has not cost us an enormous amount of money? Or, name 1 intelligent thing that the smartest person ever (Barack Hussain Obama) has done? Just one...I'm waiting...and waiting...and waiting...well, you get the idea.

Why has no one mentioned the lack of the great outrage when an admittedly Muslim US Army officer murdered soldiers at Ft. Hood? Did I miss the great outrage, or was the response from the President and liberal members of the Senate strangely absent? No need to answer, the lack of response speaks for itself!

Its too bad that Ms. Giffords wasnt addressing a Minute Man meeting, or even a republican group. Mr Loughner would have gotten off two shots before being cut down, thereby saving the public millions.

I can't take anything serious coming from someone who resides in California. In the past 20 years, here's what California has given America - The joke that is "Hollywood" and all the pathetic 'actors and actresses', Nancy Pelosi, Rodney King Riots, a not-guilty OJ Simpson verdict, a massive state debt which will require the rest of us to bail them out, out of control gangs, push for legalizing pot, etc...oh yeah, and other self grandizing politicians such as public servant Boxer!

How about providing a link to the Jews for the Preservation of Firearms website, JPFO.org? Go to http://jpfo.org/filegen-a-m/deathgc.htm#chart to see The Human Cost of "Gun Control" Ideas. Remember it was governments that killed more people than anyone else.

barbara boxer is the worst of the worst. I am a gun enthusiast and have fought antigunners for years. she is a delusional socialist and should be removed from office along with harry reid and a host of other anticonstitutional radicals. california has sqeezed out some of the biggest antigun turds of any state. I live in ILL and mayor daly had guns banned in chicago and murder and gun warfare erupts daily. anyone that hates guns is not an american and should move to cuba where their views fit in. when hitler, stalin, polpot had guns removed from the hands of citizens the working class was murdered and had no defense. guns are the sign of a free country.when they are gone so are your freedom

I just finished watching for the first time the new reality TV Show Border Wars.
I've changed my mind about our treatment of illegal aliens caught crossing!
We should protect our borders with whatever means it takes, and if that entails passing a law that allows us to shoot on site all crossing illegally, I am all for it.
Our government response to illegal immigration, terrorists, and smuggelers comingt into our country is pathetic.
I believe I am going to volunteer each year for 2 weeks to monitor our borders with the Minute Men. I hope more citizens decide to do this patriotic service also, especially since our current adminstration relies on these aliens for votes.
It is sickening, and makes me as mad as hell, to watch that crap!!

Why is it that there is no mention of personal responsibility? Is the man insane? Maybe.
The left particularly, is blaming: Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Palin, ET AL.
Why isn't anyone in the media asking why all of the people in the mental institutions were released onto America in the late '60s or early '70s (I'm unclear of the ACLU decision) to become the "Homeless" of today?
It is the left that is wholly to blame for what happened in Tuscon.
By the way, as of Monday afternoon Rep. Giffords has been upgraded from "critical" to "serious".
Rep. Giffords, while a Democrat is a Second Amendment advocate.

I was thoroughly disgusted to read in this week's brief, that you had removed the "liberal hunting license" from your site. I am not disgusted that you removed it, because your explanation was quite clear, and in my view very respectable. It seems that you felt compelled to remove it to preserve the publication and therfore the jobs and livelihood of your team. I am disgusted that in the country that invented freedom of speech, one ignorant public "servant" can have the power to threaten a freely written publication.
I wonder if you might enlighten us, your readers, with the actions that you felt threatened the Patriot Post

Ms Boxer is doing this because she knows you are not a Fox news with all the money needed to fight people like her.
I am going to write O'Rielly, Hannity, Michelle M, and every person I can think of to tell them what this 'servant' of the people is trying to do to the Patriot Post. Hopefully they will look into it then broadcast it on TV or write about Boxer in their newspaper column or write an editorial showing what a far left wing bully she really is.
She shows no respect to anyone and by threatening you she has gone way to far and is totally out of line even for a far left hate liberal.
This story should also be posted on facebook and twitter, forums, debate boards and blogs.
Boxer "We the Peoples' servant called for and craves this unwanted war against free speech and conservatives in order to see her name in print.

The progressive, liberal leftists were quick to react to the latest tragedy with the usual calls for more gun control legislation and regulations, which will, as they should be, shot down (pardon the pun) by SCOTUS. They call for increased security for themselves presumably provided by peace officers or private security wearing what? GUNS! What a shock! But they want to disarm law-abiding citizens.
It is no matter to them, that no mass shootings have ever happened while a firearm was resting on a table, in a drawer or locked in a gun cabinet. Indeed, these horrible events all have a common denominator: there is some wacko, criminally insane, nutcase with his or her finger wrapped around the trigger.
I submit, more effective than gun laws, we ought to ban wackos; just get rid of them all together.

Someone should remind Sen. Boxer that while she remains in office, she is still under her oath of office to "uphold and defend the Constitution".
Since the 1st Amendment guarantees the right to free speech, especially political speech, she is required to uphold the right of PatriotPost.us to engage in political discourse.
For her to continue her course of action is to commit perjury (literally, the breaking of an oath) before Congress, which is where she took her oath. Such an offense would make her guilty of High Crimes.

@hank re: 01 17 11 at 12:57 -- "Californians are not stupid. They voted to keep Boxer out of California for six years."
I think a good deal of this trouble could have been averted if the citizens had not voted for Boxer... but that she had been appointed by the state legislature, as had been the original plan. That way, the opinions of such populous areas as LA, SFO, Oakland, and Sac would not have the pull in such appointments that they do; instead of sixty percent of the votes originating in ten percent of the area, each district would have the same vote and the same weight.
Anyone else up for repealing the 17th Amendment?

@Jefferson re: 01 17 11 at 14:18 --
"...we need to become an intellectual movement."
As if we - or you - are so intelligent, so smart, that we can out-reason the several great men involved with founding this great nation -
"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
John Adams
"...they therefore who are decrying the Christian religion, whose morality is so sublime and pure...are undermining the solid foundation of morals, the best security for the duration of free governments."
Charles Carroll
"God governs in the affairs of man. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? We have been assured in the Sacred Writings that, except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it; I firmly believe this. I also believe that, without His concurring aid, we shall succeed in this political building no better than the builders of Babel.” Benjamin Franklin
"I have carefully examined the evidences of the Christian religion, and if I was sitting as a juror upon its authenticity I would unhesitatingly give my verdict in its favor. I can prove its truth as clearly as any proposition ever submitted to the mind of man."
Alexander Hamilton
"It cannot be emphasized too clearly and too often that this nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religion, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason, peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.” Patrick Henry
"Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest, of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.”
John Jay
""I am a real Christian; that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus." and,
“God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis - a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are a gift from God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, and that His justice cannot sleep forever.” Thomas Jefferson
"We have staked the whole future of American civilization, not upon the power of government - far from it - We’ve staked the future of all our political institutions upon our capacity…to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God.”
James Madison
"The evil that has resulted from the error of the schools, in teaching natural philosophy as an accomplishment only, has been that of generating in the pupils a species of atheism. Instead of looking through the works of creation to the Creator himself, they stop short and employ the knowledge they acquire to create doubts of His existence." Thomas Paine
and, finally,
"... reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle..."
General George Washington (Farewell Speech)
Each of them agreed that religion was an indispensible part of a free country. Even those who have been the subject of constant miscaricature as closet sorcerers and wolves in shepherd's clothing - Jefferson and Franklin chief among them - repeatedly and consistently embrace the teachings and God of Jesus' ministry.
These were highly-intelligent, deeply-thoughtful men; self-educated and disciplined; far wiser than any of us on the basis of breadth of education alone. Not many of us are as literate, well-read, or erudite as these men. They took in much knowledge - of the basics, the classics, and the Bible - and applied it generally; we tend - far too often - to take in the second-hand, agenda-tainted factoids of self-appointed intelligencia and talking heads, and presume to call ourselves learned.
Your over-simplified blanket assertion, that the religious right is composed entirely (or even largely) of the howling unwashed, places your own sad and inadequate understanding of Christianity and the origins of America.

I just received the Tea Party Primers in the mail along with the bookmark with the following quote:
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, go from us in peace. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen" - Samuel Adams.
Did you read this before you caved into Boxer?
What part of this does NOT apply to taking the stand against Sen. Boxer and her ilk to threaten and intimidate a free enterprise such as The Patriot Post? I suggest you re-think your position.
I can personally speak to the negative business cycle of capitalism. Get a grip.
In whom do you place your trust and faith, sir?

If guns really do "KILL" people then we had better consider banning cars etc. I see auto wrecks and crosses on the side of the roads all the time and these cars (Obamas' csars too LOL) do kill people! The alcohol does kill people and should we ban those things too, REALLY, it is the "IRRESPONSIBILTY" of it all that kills! The gun control is rather the idea that govt's use to get guns OUT of the hands of laaw abiding citizens to take control from the masses and do as they want and desire to do! The bottom line is "MONEY! GREED! and POWER!!! there is NO more reason than that! The powers that be couldn't care one bit about anyone dying, as long is isn't them and they couldn't care about anything else but their greed and control and power of US and the USA!!!

I never realized how deeply the left hated conservatives until after the AZ shootings. It’s a kind of hate that is reserved for foreign countries that have attacked your home land and slaughtered innocent people. I don’t know where it will end and what will happen if it continues to get worse. It’s kind of scary if you think about it. There are a lot of predictions that the U.S will eventually implode. I’m starting to believe it.
