Nothing mentioned about guns in today's feature either refers to or alludes to the recent tragedy in Conn. What was insensitive and in bad taste was the lame stream media and the left swooping in before the dead could even be tended, let alone mourned, with their anti second amendment agenda.

Reality is often distasteful. If we do not engage this climate of mis-information on firearms and school safety now, we will have this action repeated. We have failed to address mental illness and we have failed to address school safety with anything other than do-nothing Passive arm waiving. We live in an evil word and we are sticking our head in the sand if we continue the status quo pasivity and do not take direct action(s). Humor is a way of provoking thought, and reality will often be distasteful...

I am not offended other than by those that believe inanimate objects have the ability to self propel and function without outside manipulation. I understand most closed minded progressives cannot speak without the approval of the "party". It is about the party line and not the truth. What is right about the conservatives is the open minded honest discussion that occurs. Hinding and consoling ones fears does not create improvement, it only begets more problems. Less guns do not fix anything.

One reality is for sure that the liberals will use a tragedy to push their agenda whether its a school shooting, mall shooting, etc. They have no shame about abortions but can get all up in arms about any other kiind of death. More future chldren have died from abortions in this country than any other reason.

I sincerely believe what is most offense and egrigious is the left's propensity to stand on the corpses of these fallen children and use them as a bully pulpit to push their Communistic agenda. They speak of sensitivity and being respectful - nothing but words and balloon juice on their part. We conservatives need to start sticking it to them every chance we can get. Otherwise we won't have a free country to live in.

In the midst of the calloused and insensitive cacophany irrationally demanding gun laws will stop such people, I am particularly impressed with the NRA's silence. Some might think the NRA is silent because it's defenseless. I do not recommend they test that thought. I believe the NRA is one of the few insitutions with class to not exploit this "crises." I am particularly offended with our POTUS who callously, even cruelly, exploited the deaths of these children before their poor families received them from the coroner. And the main stream media is complicit in such cruelty. It's like rubbing salt into the wounds but even more cruel than ever due to the age of the victims. Any who claim we need more gun laws should be reminded that the location where this tragedy occurred is full of some of the nation's most restrictive gun laws on the books! Laws do not stop criminals or mentally impaired. More gun control laws will only increase the count of defenseless and opportunities for criminals with guns. President Obama - you should be ashamed of yourself, but you won't be. Instead you are proud of yourself. I wanted to think your tears were real, but your words were so cruel they made your tears appallingly deceptive. Shame on you and all your deceptive ilk!

Your tax dollars at work. I read in the "Washington Examiner" that the First Family's Christmas trip to Hawaii was costing us $2M. But, on a brighter note, Malia's spring break trip (with a few close friends) to Mexico only cost the taxpayers $115,000.

As for the comments on the cartoons, when I was in school, the teachers taught that the Sunday funnies were just that; cartoons (back when you could watch them every Saturday morning) on tv were just that; and political cartoons were drawn for a reason - to make you think or to address an issue.

The only reason the Left has to mourn these children is that since they were not aborted, and had not grown to maturity, the Left was unable to exploit the children for their labor, or their votes.
