The Right Opinion
Got Racism?
Liberal racism sightings have become like a lunatic's version of "Where's Waldo?" Kevin Baker of Harper's magazine says Romney's referring to his "five boys" in last week's debate was how he "slyly found a way" to call Obama a "boy." Says Baker: "How the right's hard-core racists must have howled at that!"
MSNBC's Chris Matthews says the word "apartment" is racist because black people live in apartments. He also says the word "Chicago" is racist because -- despite its well-known reputation as the home of Al Capone and the Daley machine -- a lot of black people live there, too. (And don't get him started on "Chicago apartments"!)
As we go to press, Matthews is working on an exciting new hypothesis that peanut butter is racist.
Meanwhile, my new favorite actress, Stacey Dash, sends an inoffensive little tweet supporting Mitt Romney and is buried in tweets calling her "an indoor slave" and a "jiggaboo," who was "slutting (herself) to the white man." (And those were just the tweets from the Obama 2012 Re-election Campaign!)
Could we get an expert opinion from Chris Matthews or Kevin Baker about whether any of that is racist?
It's a strange thing with liberals. They spend so much time fawning over black nonentities -- like Maya Angelou, Eugene Robinson, Barack and Michelle Obama, and Rachel Maddow's very, very, very special black guest Melissa Harris-Perry -- that, every once in awhile, they seem to erupt in racist bile to restore their mental equilibrium.
After President George W. Bush appointed Condoleezza Rice the first black female secretary of state, she was maligned in racist cartoons portraying her as Aunt Jemima, Butterfly McQueen from "Gone With the Wind," a fat-lipped Bush parrot and other racist cliches.
Kevin Baker didn't notice any of that because he was working on his theory that referring to your sons is racist.
When Michael Steele ran for senator from Maryland, he was depicted in blackface and with huge red lips by liberal blogger Steve Gilliard. Sen. Charles Schumer's Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee dug up a copy of Steele's credit report -- something done to no other Republican candidate.
Is that more or less racist than Romney mentioning his sons? More or less racist than the word "apartment"?
Mia Love, a black Republican running for Congress in Utah had her Wikipedia page hacked with racist bile, heavy on the N-word. Her campaign headquarters has been bombarded with racist graffiti and slimy mailings with pictures of Klansman next to photos of her family.
Some would say that's even more racist than Romney talking about his sons.
On less evidence than the birthers have, liberals slandered both Clarence Thomas and Herman Cain with the racist stereotype of black men as sexual predators.
As the preceding short list suggests, liberals usually limit their racist slime to conservative blacks. But not always.
In 2008, Bill Clinton said of Obama "a few years ago this guy would have been carrying our bags." Democratic Sen. Harry Reid praised Obama for not speaking in a "Negro dialect." Joe Biden complimented Obama for being "clean" and "articulate."
Did I mention that Kevin Baker thinks that Romney referring to his "five boys" is racist?
Two years ago, liberal newsman Dan Rather said the criticism of Obama was that he "couldn't sell watermelons if you gave him the state troopers to flag down the traffic." (I immediately called for Rather's firing for that, and then remembered that he didn't have a job.)
Last week, Rather won the 2012 Edward R. Murrow Award for Lifetime Achievement from Washington State University. That's not a joke -- or at least not my joke.
Meanwhile, evidence of alleged Republican racism invariably consists of tenuous connections and apocryphal signals normally associated with schizophrenics and sufferers of "Thrilled Leg Syndrome."
Since February 2008, the primary evidence of racism has been failure to fully support Obama's election, policies or re-election. As Slate magazine's Jacob Weisberg put it during the last presidential campaign, only if Obama were elected president would children in America be able to "grow up thinking of prejudice as a nonfactor in their lives."
I wish I had a nickel for every kid who's come up to me in an airport and said, "What I wouldn't give to be able to think of prejudice as a non-factor in my life ..."
Curiously, liberals weren't concerned about what children in America would think if Clarence Thomas' Supreme Court nomination had been defeated. No, only electing the most liberal person ever to seek the presidency on a major party ticket would prove that the country could "put its own self-interest ahead of its crazy irrationality over race."
The left's racial demagoguery worked: In 2008, Obama received a larger proportion of the white vote than any Democrat running for president in nearly 40 years. (Though he tied Clinton's 1996 white vote record.)
And look how well that turned out! We haven't heard another peep about racism since then.
To read more about what a smashing success the left's utterly self-serving racial bullying has been, read my new book, "Mugged: Racial Demagoguery From the Seventies to Obama."

It infuriates the mentally deficient liberal, when the facts presented distroy their fantasys. Romney mentioned his sons, and their immature tendancy to stick to an inaccurate story or assesment of the situation, in an attempt to alter the sitiuation in their favor. Obamao was doing the same thing in the debate, and Romne cleverly made him out both a liar and imature, hardly racist, but in the demtia of the left, if you are against their insanity, you are racist. By their standards, I am racist, and proud of it, Obamao and his syncophants must go.

Ann, let the lefwingnuts keep on with their lunacy. People out here are sick and tired of the racist thing. By harping on racism, the left is doing more damage to themselves than anyone else possibly could. People like Matthews have become a laughing stock. When they lose the debate they invariably revert to slander and assorted untruths.

Lol, Mitt Romney was lying DURING the debate. He threw out numbers which were proved wrong after it was over. And what do you expect left wing lunatics to do when there is obvious, if not racism, just good old down right hatred going on. If you're tired of the racist thing, don't vote for Romney, because he'll slowly reintroduce it to our country the same way he already is.

Now that Homosexuality has been officially removed from the list of recognized mental illnesses, could we put Liberalism in its place? I mean only liberals who aren't homosexuals, of course. Or black. Or black AND Homosexual. Or any of them who live in apartments, certainly! Sigh...this gets soooo tiring.

The one criticism of our current Oval Office Occupier is that he is the first true Affirmative Action President. You all remember Affirmative Action where a person had to be hired because of race, and gender, not because of qualifications. That is how they got away with foisting this assmunch on us.

Too bad the Romneys have boys. If they had girls instead - oh - never mind - referring to his girls would be a subtle dog whistle calling Obama an emasculated black man of course. Silly me!

It's mostly rebuttal. Republicans have been trying to pin Obama as racist, nazi, muslim etc from the FIRST day he was in office. Everything he has done has been twisted by them. Look at the 2007 video of Obama claiming federal discrimination against New Orleans. How dare he say something like that! He is destroying our country! Oh wait, look back when Bush was still in office and said the same EXACT thing about New Orleans and nobody questioned it… Ridiculous how people just pick apart our system without any desire to learn or remember how things were or have always been. It's even more ridiculous how most republicans make up lies and show full-throttle hatred toward a man, because he wants to try to bring people together and change our system so there isn't big indestructible corporations running our lives. I've seen 20 times more racism coming from the "right". Just watch TV, they sit there and talk crap and then tell everybody Obama is talking crap. It's insanity… Who REALLY believes a president who's main attitude is work together with everyone and help everyone we can, not just middle or upper class will really just flip the script and turn out to be racist or extremist. Most the people on Obamas side are peace loving, down to earth people, so tell me why would he focus on winning those types if his ultimate goal was socialism or world domination. His main supporters would NEVER stand for it. You can change people opinions pretty quick, but it takes years and specialized techniques to transform people from caring souls into hate mongers. Like how the right has done with Fox News. Half of America watches one news station and that one in particular serves as a Republican gear for creating social tension. Funny how everybody wants to be fair and claim they're not racist but have no problem believing all the hype the right throws out at you. It's ok, most of them are rich and so only a few will educate themselves while the majority get fat and partied out. Yea, I'm one of the lazy ass 47% Romney called out. Me and my other Veteran buddies are going to school to better ourselves, just like many Democrats I know, so common sense will rule in our favor eventually.

No because if you really were serious about this country, you would realize that all the stuff being said about the Obummah is TRUE! His mentors were Paul Davis and Saul Alinsky Both of them were avowed Communists. But then you must be a liberal because you don't care about facts. BTW I served for 20 years, so I DO care about my country and the freedoms I've served to protect. Your boy has done his level best to gut the Constitution and attending Bill of Rights. Heres a thought, why don't you type in HillsdaleCollege.edu on your computer, then register to take their Constitution 101 course. After that take their Constitution 201 course and get educated before running around spewing hot Balloon Juice over a guy who doesn't even deserve to set foot in the Oval Office.

His mentors are not him. I grew up around, and still know Skinheads as well as some Black Power folks. I learned a lot from them, but I don't believe in either of their ultimate ways because no man is better than any other because of appearance. If we judged people by who they hung out with, we wouldn't have had the same lineup of presidents. Funny how nobody questioned the ties of Bush until he was almost out of office and we were all wondering where Americas surplus money went. Thanks for the suggestion, but I've already took some government classes. And who HASN't gutted the Constitution? It will keep being gutted as long as we live because guess what, times they are a changing. I don't spew juice, I spew facts. Sorry you can't handle them.

Right, but you back a man who literally called half of America freeloaders and said he doesn't care about them because he's gonna focus on his target group. Not to mention agreed he said it all and tried to say he meant something else when it was beyond clear and no other way to interpret it. He's also notorious for shady business ethics and shitcanning workers when his companies have a bad year.
Thats the kinda guy you respect and think is here for Americans? He is here for the rich & the rich alone. He's shown & even STATED publicly he gives two shits about freedom of choice or individual rights. You're the one who's lost. Period.

Dustin, Dude, you're going to school so you can be a part of the 47% because you can' t find a good paying job! Who do you think you're foolin', dumbass? This isn't huffpo! Btw, if a man's attitude is all it takes to run a country, why is anybody running against Obama? Who doesn't like a man with a good attitude? This time should probably give more weight to aptitude, dude!...

I'm going to school so I can write and talk in complete sentences and socialize with humans on a real level, which is something you obviously haven't mastered yet. Why are they running against him? LMAO Because he is trying to do crazy things like do away with our dependency on oil, and the people in power don't like him messing with their money. GET A CLUE. I can find a job. I chose to further educate myself and learn about more futuristic possibilities in the workforce. I did time in the Navy and have aptitude as well. Dude.

First of all, you have no clue what I do for a living, so that proves your ignorant point of view on everything. I'm also not a Liberal. People like you assuming and pointing. You think by bashing people you make some sort of solid point. I'm making arguments here and all most of you can say is haha you're dumb, because you truly have no clue of the whole story.
And of course the price of oil is going up, it is getting more valuable for one because it is NON-RENEWABLE. That means it will be gone one day. And all this oil available in the states? Yea, if you want to frack or surface scrape. I'm sure you know what that is… (sarcasm) Not only that, but Obama has made nothing but enemies in oil land and they're not going to do anything to help him out when he's trying to get us on green energy.
The governments job is to protect us from corporations, and by moving away from fossil fuels, they're doing just that.

Your rebuttal is the raving of a pathologically challenged useful idiot, as described by Lenin. Do you realize that the Democrat Party Platform is taken directly from the Communist Manifesto? If your are a veteran, and I doubt you did any real combat time as your writing portrays you as a girly man (or woman) who most likely pushed paper and wouldn't know which end of a weapon was which, then you would realize that a vote for marxist statist socialism is a treasonous act. One of the 47%?, Then I despise your sloth and hope you die of malnutrition as real Patriots stop the gravy train of your lazy existence.

Yep, one of the 47%. Romney was referring to ANYONE who receives aid in that statement. Even veterans with blown off limbs. You fool. If you really think Obamas supporters will let him take us the way of true communism, you have no idea how organized people work.
Oh, and your Communist Manifesto comment? Democrats AND Republicans have both had their hands in recreating the Ten Planks in America. Read a little deeper. I talk like a civilized man who respects the views of others. Get a clue & get on my level.

Ann, Obama has been steeped in hatred of Whites for many years from White-hating blacks, notably Frank Davis and Jeremiah Wright. Obama called his own grandfather “Uncle Tom, Collaborator, House Nigger,” (Dreams of My Father) for daring to find some good in the White race and some fault in the Black. I enjoyed your article however I consider it important to contrast what is classified as racist rhetoric by Whites with what passes as insightful comment when made by Blacks, Obama in particular.
