An excellent article.

I live such a simple life. I try my best to stick to the facts. I live by the law. I carry a copy of the DoI and the Constitution, both of which I often read, in my briefcase. It is so easy to be a Conservative. I never have to worry about which "Talking Points" lie I am trying to defend.

My Conservative Wife's side of the Family is all at-least Liberals, some further Left. All educated / indoctrinated at KU. All of them receive the daily Progressive talking points and religiously spout them.

With me, they don't even bother to debate. Their first words are the accusatory terms written above: Homophobe, Muslim Hater, Raciest, etc ad nasuem.

But, I now realize that those terms are indeed their public announcement that they have reached their intellectual nadir. They have nothing with which to press their mission. They are lost in a sea of propaganda – and there is no life jacket available to them.

It is indeed so easy to be a Conservative – except when the DC elites wish you silent.

RINOs and "moderate" Republicans should be added to the Democrats described in the last paragraph.

Dr. Krauthammer, I agree with all you have said here. Thank you for putting it in such simple truthful terms, as you always do. We need your steady hand so badly. Every time you are on Fox news in their topical sessions, I look forward to your summations of the problem being discussed. It's straightforward, intelligent and to the core of the problem. I heard your article read on one of my regular radio talk shows. I finally got to read it tonight. It is even better reading it. my political adversaries try to shame me into feeling so anti-everything and phobic about every stance I take. I just look them in the eye and say, " Absolutely, and I am so damn proud of whatever you say I am against. " If you are against these positions, then I know that i are correct." That disarms them almost immediately. They don't know how to react to my saying that I sure am everything you say I am, and I am proud of it.

Krauthammer has it nailed. We've heard all the liberal ideas, and we've rejected every one. They cannot argue their case any longer, so they simply attack and call names. Now it is time to go and vote, and pray to God we're not too late.

Only one correction: they are socialists, not liberals but they don't know the difference. A true liberal accounts his opponents arguments seriously. That's why liberal democracies have legislative bodies.

Socialism posits that society can be perfected by those who know what's in your best interest and it's government's job to mold this society. Liberalism posits that you yourself know best and it's government's job to get out of your way. Conservatism is the attempt to conserve what is best in the liberal (I mean Classic Liberalism in Europe and America) tradition. Socialism has two faces: National Socialism and Internationalism. Let know one be fooled by their apparent differences. There is nothing liberal about liberal democrats. Their contempt proves that.

Intolerance and hatred are not the correct way to fight intolerance and hatred. Just more of the same. What good could it possibly do to deny Muslims the right to build a mosque near ground zero? Muslims, who in all likelihood, are law-abiding and valuable members of our society and not bloodthirsty killers? In many people's eyes, it would just serve to validate the idea that America is fighting a global war against Islam and provide more fuel for the fire. We need to stand up for the rights of our Muslim brothers and sisters just as we would for those of other religions.

What's hilarious about Liberals is that when they're proven wrong, they simply carry on as though nothing happened. And when proven dangerously, hatefully, spectacularly wrong, they simply attribute their blunders to Right-wingers and act as though they opposed whatever was wrong from the start.

Eugenics is a good example. Fascism is another. In both cases the Left was madly in love with the concepts and strongly urged America to emulate or adopt those hateful, murderous ideologies. Later, after the horrors they brought were exposed for all to see, the Left simply rewrote history so that Fascism was a RIGHT-WING system and eugenics was something the Progressives opposed, both of which were stunning fabrications of the first order.

To this day, children are taught in school that "everybody knows" Fascism was Right-wing. Just as "everybody knows" Republicans opposed civil rights while Democrats saved liberty for everyone -- even though the opposite is true.

Liberalism means never having to say you're sorry? It also means never having to say your ideology murdered 100 million innocent people.

Yes, Liberals are blown out windbags but they are fellow Americans. If they are not moved by the sight of thousands at the gathering in Washington last weekend or feel the re-ignition of Dr. King's words, and question their own motives, what is the antidote for the poisoned apple? How can they be coaxed home?

American liberties are guaranteed to those willing to defend them against all enemies foreign and domestic. Now is the time to come to the aid of our Country. Sound the tocsins loud and long between now and election day. Assemble your friends and neighbors to use their votes to reestablish integrity, intelligence, and common sense to the Nation's governance.

Dr. CK is a true patriot and one of few in main stream media. I wonder, if Mr.Hines had lost a loved one during 9/11 how he would feel about his Muslin brothers and sisters. I suggest he live with them for awhile and see how he is accepted and how long he is tolerated.
