Obama in Wonderland

· Saturday, November 21, 2009

You have to wonder who briefed the Chief Executive for his interview with NBC News. The White House’s resident admirer of Chairman Mao, Communications Director Anita Dunn, had already bailed out.

Whoever it was must have been inspired by watching Alice in Wonderland. Many of us remember Alice in Wonderland. If we didn’t read the Lewis Carroll classic, we at least watched the Disney cartoon version. (Some of us, parents of toddlers, may have watched it twenty times!) There’s a scene in this fantasy film that I couldn’t help thinking of when President Obama’s interview was broadcast during his trip to Asia.

Queen of Hearts: Now then, are you ready for your sentence?
Alice: But there has to be a verdict first.
Queen of Hearts: Sentence first! Verdict afterwards.
Alice: But that just isn’t the way.
Queen of Hearts: [shouting] All ways are...!
Alice: ...your ways, your Majesty.

Now, this is the model of criminal justice that the President wants to showcase for the entire world. The U.S. is going to try Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in a federal court in Manhattan. That’s the city where nearly 3,000 Americans were murdered by the 9/11 terrorists.

Obama tells the world that we are going to give a fair trial to the man who admitted -- prior to being given his proper Miranda warning -- that he orchestrated the worst incident of terrorism to strike the American homeland in our history.

We say we are going to give a fair trial to this man. He is going to be found guilty, the President tells us. And, Mr. Obama continues, he is going to get the death penalty.

Compared to this, the military trial of American civilians for the murder of President Abraham Lincoln was a model of judicial restraint and legal decorum. Historians to this day criticize the trial that brought David Herold, Lewis Powell, George Atzerodt, and Mrs. Mary Surratt to the scaffold on July 7, 1865, less than four months after the assassination.

President Andrew Johnson was a vicious racist and universally regarded as one of America’s worst presidents. But even Johnson’s conduct in the conspirators’ trial looks better than what we are seeing from Obama. At least Johnson let the military trial go forward and allowed its sentence to be carried out with dispatch.

Sentence first. Verdict afterwards. Attorney General Holder has said failure [to convict] is "not an option." Really? Then who could seriously believe that this is a fair and open trial before an impartial jury?

Obama is the man who "hovers above us all like a sort of God," said Newsweek editor Evan Thomas. When such a pronouncement of guilt and such assurance of execution comes down from such an Olympian character, how precisely, is Holder going to find an impartial jury?

New Yorkers voted overwhelmingly for Obama. Are New York jurors going to say they have not heard what Obama said about Khalid Sheikh Mohammed? Will they say their view of the "defendant" was not prejudiced by the man who has access to far more national security information than any of them do? Can any of them really say they would pay Obama’s views of this "suspect" no special attention?

This is a terrible decision, one fraught with danger for New Yorkers, for Americans, and for all those who stand to be victimized again by the jihadist wielders of mass murder for terror. KSM should have been brought before a military tribunal -- the very kind of military tribunal that Senator Barack Obama voted for and which he defended in a floor speech in 2006.

It’s hard to do satire of this administration. If this is an example of what it does after serious and lengthy deliberation, we might look to another scene from Alice in Wonderland to gain an insider’s perspective of a Cabinet meeting: It must look like the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

Obviously, this is simply another slap in the face of America and Patriotic Americans by an illegitimate president who hates America and everything it stands for. But be careful here, folks; I believe this sham trial, in the contrived interests of serving "justice", is just another politically motivated distraction. While the country heatedly debates this issue, the Nobel Peace prize winner is off on yet another taxpayer funded boondoggle to sell American sovereignty down the river. While we're all talking about this outrageous act by the attorney general, the Hussein administration is continuing its onslaught against the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. This idea of a trial is clearly an outrageous act perpetrated by a bunch of Chicago street thugs, but let's not lose sight of the bigger prize these clowns are after; disenfranchisement and enslavement of the American people to serve their own twisted, degenerate, Marxist ideology.

I thought I had a brain but I must have been wrong.

OK, so I didn't mastermind the greatest attack on my country... but let's just say I did something really bad, no one loves me, and I'm going to trial. The AG of the USA, knows how unpopular I am and says, loud and clear, right out there in public, "I'm going to see to it that this guy hangs and you can take that to the bank." And my lawyer smiles and says, "You can relax now. By definition we just won on appeal."

If the AG of the USA says we're gonna use the criminal court system, the basic tenet of which is that you are innocent until proven guilty, and then turns around and shoots off his mouth so as to either 1) give this mass murdering maniac a free pass to appeals court, or 2) undermine, deny and make futile the most sacred basic principal of our legal system...here's where I'm wondering where my brain went...if one and one makes two, why aren't we hearing any and every honorable Politician of either party howling like a pack of angry wolves for the removal of this dangerous AG of the USA.

Please folks, these communists have always been serious, have always been treacherous, more than stupid. This isn't The Queen of Hearts and Alice at work but rather Joe Stalin and his crew.

The time for analyzing this administrations actions in terms of what might work, to the good of our nation or not, is past.

Analze their actions in terms of an over-riding concrete, conscious aim for our destruction.

Only then does all of this begin to make sense.

Right on Jimmy D. Ken Blackwell should run for the United States Senate for the State of Ohio. His views are well articulated and just plain common sense, which most Liberals abhor. We are in terrible danger in this Country and we all divided politically, but any citizen ought to be able to see the Revolution being perpretrated against freedom. We the people, patriots, need to rise up and defend ourselves. Obama's rating of performance in Ohio is now lesser than 50% approval.

I am going to vote for the US Senator who promises to impeach him. How about that Ken? Give him a fair hearing which from his own words will cause his impeachment?

Well spoken, Mr. Blackwell. We need patriotic Americans like you.

I am not sure what will happen to us, but, from my experience with dictatorships and communism, it is not good. Senate has bought (bribed) the last three "holdout" votes of "moderate democrats," whatever that means, they are all treasonous to me since they are no longer listening to the American people and are betraying the very oath of office they took. This procedural vote has cleared the way for the national health care bill to pass.

It will be four years before the bill goes into effect, while we are paying for it for four years, and then four more years before its ill-effects will be felt by the masses. By then, it will be too late to reverse it, and our country will be plunged into total tyranny. We should mark our calendars that today, November 21, 2009, 233 years of glorious history has been killed with the stroke of a pen by 535 traitorous members of Congress led by, possibly, the most corrupt administration of our times.

We, patriotic Americans, wrote to our representatives, faxed, called, attended meetings, protests, rallys, visited our Congressmen, gave interviews, wrote blogs, wrote posts, talked to people on the street, to no avail. What are Americans to do to save our country?

The placement of the five 9/11 terrorist in a New York civil court is just for show. Obama can now say that the civilian courts found them not guilty and since he had nothing to do about it he is clear.

The first days of the trial the coerced confessions will be tossed out because of all the released information about water boarding. All the supposed terrorist will then be able to call for information about their supposed activities in open court, which will list their activities which will reveal their sources over seas so the other followers can eliminate the leaks. And the political blame game will place the blame on Bush that the supposed terrorist were guiltless pawns. They will also be found not guilty based on the circumstantial evidence that in it's value will be hearsay and disallowed , again Obama will be able to say see the courts worked. While the court house, and all the people there, are placed at extended risk of other followers detonating a device near the courthouse.

Sometimes, seeing the news and the way the country is going down, I wonder if I have fallen down the rabbit hole into a nonsensical world. What the terrorists did was not a civilian crime, it was war. And they SHOULD be tried from that view point.

Thank you Mr. Blackwell

Chicago thug justice in action. Just think, if these terrorists are convicted with out Miranda warnings and the other protections afforded by our system, it will set a precedent. Now what happens when Holder and Obama want to arrest an "evil right wing talk show host", a gun owner, or any other citizen they don't approve of. No Miranda, no rights, you are going to jail! It's all part of their plan.
