Take heart Rebecca, there are millions of us who have the courage to "stand athwart this and cry out STOP". We will win in the end, even if it is only by hearing His words, "Well done thou good and faithful servant" when we stand in judgement. We are bombarded by those who have "artistic license". It goes against the grain of people of faith to be called hateful and bigoted. That is why so many are silent. I find it hard to believe the people who practice homosexuality believe it is right and proper without deviancy.

The pandering policy makers fall prey to the loudest voices. I speak out the best I am able. Through contact with my elected representatives. We have to be persistent.

I am wondering if they (the gays and lesbians) are sincere in their endevours. OR are they merely out to garner attention in any manner possible, regardless of how shameful it is. Have you noticed the way people dress? Boys with their baggy pants so low on their legs (their buttocks are no longer useful for holding up their pants) that their brightly colored boxers are PLAINLY visable. It is only for the attention they are NOT getting at home. The females are also getting in on the act. They are resorting to tattoos, and lack of decent clothes and brightly colored hair. ANYTHING to be noticed. So I believe this outbreak of demands involving so called "same sex marriage" is just another way to "be noticed", on T V and parades and lawsuits etc. etc.etc.! What actually goes on behind closed doors, is probably not what people envision in their minds. Seeing two people (same sex) kiss in public is probably nothing more than another 'attention grabber'. I believe if we just ignore them, they will try something else, for they MUST be noticed or they will implode.!

This unfortunately is the future of the Republican Party. "Purity" (Did she really use that 1970's Anita Bryant word when speaking of God's imperfect human beings?)

I thought we were supposed to be live and let live right wingers. Social conservatives frequently do not believe in much of any other conservative ideas. So while they'll do a great job of self righteously managing other people's personal lives (sounds left wing liberal to me) they won't raise a fuss over socialist monetary agendas.

"Right wingers" and by that I presume you mean Conservatives are not guided by the "live and let live" mantra. That is the belief of moral relativists who believe "anything goes" and "whatever floats your boat." Conservatives believe in defending the moral, cultural, ethical precepts which were so instrumental in founding our nation. Defense of principles is a far cry from live and let live moral relativism.

Conservatives are not interested in "telling other adult sovereign individuals what kind of sex to have," or in "self righteously managing other people's personal lives." The personal business of others is none of our personal business.

Conservatives are interested in informing others that they believe homosexuality is wrong and believe they have as much right to say so as does the homosexual who states it is not wrong. To be against the practice of homosexuality is not a phobia but a religious and cultural belief, a belief that is protected by the Constitution.

Furthermore, Conservatives are interested in informing others that marriage is defined as the union of one man and one woman. This is a discussion about definition. The union of two persons of the same gender may be a life-long loving relationship but it is not a marriage, by definition.

There are "bigger problems" but your example that Conservatives "won't raise a fuss over socialist monetary agendas" is laughable. It appears you haven't heard about a Conservative movement called the Tea Party which is wholly dedicated to countering the socialist monetary agenda. This movement has been extremely active and quite successful in the political arena. Perhaps you have heard of them referred to as "Teabaggers," a derisive term coined by their detractors, a term which refers to a homosexual practice. Strange, but I am supposed to respect/accept homsexuality, yet the liberal/progressive enemies of the Tea Party use a homosexual practice in a pejorative manner. Perhaps this is a prime example of moral relativism; what is right in one situation is wrong in another.

American rights and morality have been hijacked by a group of people who perform the sex act different than heterosexuals. This sex act produces nothing, except disease, heartache, psychiatric problems and hatred. It can NOT produce children. Therefore, it has no real use. Yet this one act has taken over legisltation formed around "civil rights". It was formed in a corner by lobbyists and of course money is ALWAYS involved.

Wholeheartedly, I do not believe that ANYTHING in our laws should be formed solely around the sex act. This opens the door for much worse, and it has already begun.

What were these lawmakers thinking? Abnormal performance of a sex act should NEVER have even been considered a "civil right" to begin with. It's totally ridiculous, not to mention being an aberration of humankind.

Most people do not realize how much work has gone into forcing us to be tolerant. Look at Hollywood. They play the game subtly and regularly insert the obligatory "gay" person into almost EVERY movie we watch, thereby trying to desensitize us, and lull us into a false notion that EVERYONE, but EVERYONE accepts this type of behavior. This is usually done using comedy. Comedy has been used as a tool by Hollywood for many decades to sway the public.

The media also plays their role quite well by repeating many, many "crimes against gays" -- when there is usually not proof of such--thereby making one aware of the downtrodden "gay". This is called sympathy. Sympathy for the plight of the gay.

Acceptance, tolerance, sympathy and even defense for the "victims of gay crime". They have accomplished their goals. The question is, which Americans will kowtow to this sort of devious planning?

But gay militants are now telling us what to do in public: what to teach children in sex ed classes in public school and how to run our businesses. "People are not born gay!" This is not true, my youngest son, I swear, was born smiling! People are not born homosexual or sodomite! In other words, we Christians need to stop using the non-Christians' watered-down, politically correct terms such as "gay" and "abortion." It's sodomy and infanticide. In the book there are studies after studies demonstrating the psychological dysfunctional nature of Homosexuality itself, and more and more studies are still coming out each day demonstrating that homosexuals are not born this way.

The nail in the coffin for the “homosexual and gay rights (born this way)” political machinery is the now more numerous Identical Twin studies occurring around the world, whose main topic has been mainly general Identical Twin behavior and genetics, BUT which has also given unintentionally an answered about the question of homosexuality, an answer that anyone without political blinders can see, that homosexuality is the by-product of an erroneous environment during upbringing and not genetic.

One example of the Identical Twin Studies is what is known in the psychological world as the recent large "Twin Studies" in Sweden and the Netherlands, and the recent studies about Identical Twins by Psychology Professor Nancy Segal.

The studies in the Netherlands and Holland found that in Identical Twins, when one brother or sister is homosexual, ONLY about 10% of the other identical twin brother or sister is homosexual as well, which proves homosexuality NOT to be genetic, that homosexuals/gender identity disorder individuals are NOT born that way. Now are Identical twins really that similar? Well, the next study pretty much puts to rest that question.

The study of Identical Twins by Psychology Professor Nancy Segal had a story presented by ABC News on June 29, 2011 about her and her identical Twin Studies. She also has written a book on the subject titled “Entwined Lives”, clearly demonstrates the interconnectivity of Identical Twins due to their “Identical Brains” and “Identical Genetics”.

Now, given these results and more, if homosexuality HAD BEEN genetic then in identical twins (who are 100% genetically identical) if one is a homosexual then LOGIC dictate that BOTH should have been 100% homosexual as well! But that is NOT the case... in the Holland and the Netherlands case ONLY 10% of the time both are homosexuals! In the rest of the other 90% left, one is homosexual and the other one is NOT, and this shows that something AFTER their birth causes homosexuality to happen to one but not the other. Data for homosexuality among American Identical Twins is almost none existent… and like the Church Lady of Saturday Night Live would say “How convenient”

And so, what is left after birth...? Their experiences during upbringing! What these studies demonstrate, actually scream ant anyone paying attention is that what homosexuals really NEED is a good psychologist to uncover the root of their Gender Identity Disorder in their upbringing and fix it.
