Since Obama speaks in clear, short and precise phrases, the following phrases come to mind in rebuttal:
When in the Course of human events....
it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands ....
which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, ...
the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them,...
a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires...
that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
What was good enough for the Founders in 1775 is good enough for the Tea Party Americans in 2010.
We need to remind the Current Occupant that he serves at OUR pleasure and not his.
He is leading us, but it is over the precipice that he is going towards.
The more empty phrases I hear the more I realize that the "Suit has no Emperor"!

Victor, you made a profound statement that bears repeating because It probably has never entered into the thinking of Mr. Hussein's mind:
"We need to remind the Current Occupant that he serves at OUR pleasure and not his."
He is totally oblivious to the fact, that he is suppose to be a "civil servant".

Hearing him say the same ol' thing over and over made me think how nice it will be for some other (preferably conservative) president to come along and be ready to clean up Obama's mess (though I hate to think we'll be here for three more years, but I see nothing to suggest we won't). I'm sorry, but you've had a year and there's no evidence anything is even remotely improving. It's not the "mess you inherited," it's the mess you've perpetuated to keep us fearful and stirred up so you could hoodwink people into thinking all would suddenly get better if only we passed your health care debacle and "cap and trade."

I thought the president's speech was poor at best. He needs to obviously respect the Constitution and not try to take care of everybody's needs.

Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, dissenting, warned that the consequences of the decision would "not be random." The beneficiaries would be people "with disproportionate influence and power in the political process."
and corporations are individuals too.
5 republican supremes just said so.

That is God's prerogative, Miracles, but He has so many ways that "He rules and reigns in the affairs of men" Benjamin Franklin recognized that America needed God and He called for prayer and the Lord hearkened.
I just loved your comment on GOLD, it was profound. "Two tons of dirt produces an ounce of Gold" So when the Lord gets through all of His "sieves", then the Gold will be seen. I want to be in that number. I hope you will be, too.
Hold to God's unchanging Promises, Our Beloved Founders did and they saw those Blessings come on earth. Is Anything Too hard for the Lord?? Abraham asked that question and everything looked hopeless, BUT GOD.

Thanks for your endorsement for President. I ran for City Council locally, I wanted to be on the "beer board" (the City Council is also the "beer board") so I could vote, "NO" "NO" NO"
I didn't win, but I can tell you one thing, nobody wants to bring up this government sanction of alcohol or I'll serve them a verse of the good,"OLD" camp meeting song, "The Great Judgment Morning", "The gambler was there with the drunkard, and the ones who sold them the drink, with ones who gave them the "license", together in Hell they did sink"
Reckon, I could "clean out" Washington, D.C. with that Good "OLD" Hymn.
O, for America the Beautiful, Thy Liberty in Law.
