The notion that global warming (oops! - CLIMATE CHANGE) is causing severe winter weather is so preposterous on it's face that it barely deserves acknowledgment. The enviro-terrorists are so desperate now that they'll do / say anything to keep taking our money.

Can snake oil, Hadacol, rain-dances or any of the other "superstitious nonsense" do anything to the weather????? NO
God is in charge of weather, like it or not. Job 37 is clear. Since God created the earth and has been the ONE who has sustained it, I think all of this "scientific insult" had better STOP.
The "covers are too short for the bed", "He that sitteth in the Heavens shall laugh and have them in derision. Then shall He speak unto them in His wrath (for the insults) and vex them in His sore displeasure.(for their unbelief)" Ps 2.

Did global warming cause the the blizzards along the east coast? Absolutely not! The God who created this universe and the wonderfully designed planet earth also continues to manage it in a magnificant way. Unfortunately some men think they are smarter than the God of creation and think they know best how to manage this planet and all the unbelieveably intricate systems that sustain life that we cannot understand.
Oh you who could not put one star in motion,
Who could not build one mountain out of
earth,
Or trace the pattern of a single snowflake,
Or understand the miracle of birth,
Presumpptuous mortal who cannot alter the
universe in any way,
Or fashion one small bud, release one
raindrop,
Or toss one cloud into a sunny day,
Oh earthling who could never paint a sunset,
Or cause one dawn to shine,
Oh puny man who cannot create a single
miracle.
How dare you doubt the only one who can.

This global warming “thingie” where “scientists” think they can control the climate around the earth, reminds me of a story about “scientists” who think they have created something.
Seems as though there was a scientist who was arguing with God that he had become so intelligent and knew so much about life that he could create a man out of dirt. God said: “Go ahead. Show me!” The scientist nodded and reached over to the nearby ground to scoop up some dirt to begin his creation. Then God said: “Uh, Uh, Uh! First, you have to create your own dirt!”

The Hoax of Global Warming now called Climate change is just that, a hoax. Ruth Ann And Rex are right. We better get right with God. People held Noah in derision until the water started to rise then it was too late. We too better pay attention we are being sorely tested. The return to God and his precepts will help. But, one other thing; A religeious leader once said "Pray like every thing depends on GOD and WORK like every thing depends on you" God is not in the habbit of waiving his hand and solving all our problems. He wants us to do some work too. How much work you say? Well in the eternal perspective if our Best is 1% He will fill in the other 99%. But HE wants us engaged. We are not on this Earth for a picnic we are here to learn something. One of those things (in my opinion) is to learn to cope with and overcome tyrany. We must hold our colors high and we must not falter. He goes before, us our cause is just, But HE will not hand us the victory on a silver platter. The Israelites were required to keep certain commandments, and to follow HIS instructions when entering battle. When they followed HIS council they were victorious every time. When they thought they knew better they had their heads handed to them.
I seek not for power but to bring it down.

It's impossible for "warming" to create a blizzard.
Global warming / Climate change is just a tool
to wrest power.
So is Health care reform
Cap and trade etc

I think the better question may be: did "man made" global warming cause the blizzards? The answer then is a clear and unequivocal NO. There may be "climate change" out there, but remember that one one-thousandth of a degree constitutes a "change".
To me, the heart of the issue is our arrogance. Our arrogance, (meaning that of the so-called scientists and eco-terrorists), in thinking that with less than 200 years of true and accurate climatic data we can predict the future.(I realize it's probably less, but for the sake of simplicity, let's use 200 years),
They are going to predict the future with 200 years of data upon a subject (the Earth) which is more than 4.5 BILLION years old! This, in an age when we still cannot predict the weather accurately beyond 24 hours!
And as gauling and ridiculous as that is, THEN they want to base confiscatory governmental policies upon their "theory" that man has caused these minor flucuations in temperature.
I am not college educated but having lived on this earth for 48 years, what I have observed is that everything has a cycle. We don't necessarily know the nature and intent of a cycle, but know that, for instance, every 17 years a certain locust/cicada emerges from the earth and breeds and then retreats to the dirt for another 17 years. We do not know why.
Cycles in climate may not exist because of the tumultuous essence of the stratospheres. We witness the ebb and flow of the La Nina and El Nina and are able with some accuracy to predict their coming and going. But do we know where they come from and what causes their formation. NO. But there are "theories".
We must admit as mankind that we don't know a lot about much and know much about nothing. Yeah, yeah..."this is the scientific age"; the "modern world" and we are a "civilized people". We are none of those things. The scientific community is, however, demonstrating much arrogance to the detriment of the average American.
But the real crime develops further when the "data" is then used by the politically saavy as a means to control and extort money from the citizenry. This is done through fear, manipulation and guilt.
Is that what our Founding Fathers intended? Or is that what they stood against?
What would Benjamin do, the scientist among our Founding Fathers?

"What would Benjamin do, the scientist among our Founding Fathers?"
"I therefore beg leave to move that, henceforth, prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven and its blessing on our deliberation be held in this assembly every morning...and that one or more of the clergy of this city be requested to officiate in that service." In others words, he called the Constitutional Convention to prayer.
And it didn't take "10,000 years" for him to ask or for the Lord to answer those prayers.
"every unfriendly feeling had been expelled, and a spirit of conciliation had been cultivated which promised at least to calm and dispassionate reconsideration" (My Note - this was not "bipartisan co-operation" or "reaching across the isle") This was quick answer to prayer. God heard the "honest-hearted men" who sought God's Divine assistance, How the Lord loves to hear this kind of prayer.

No one knows what causes climate/weather changes;
BUT I am very happy the snow came when it did, just to make a point.
What a thrill; DC closed by a snow storm. Can we have more of that?
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

And the hits for GW keep on coming.. "Hockey stick" data has gone "missing.":
Climategate U-turn as scientist at centre of row admits: There has been no global warming since 1995.
The academic at the centre of the ‘Climategate’ affair, whose raw data is crucial to the theory of climate change, has admitted that he has trouble ‘keeping track’ of the information.

Mr. Ball,
Read Job 37 in the Bible, if you want to know who controls the weather and why.

My neighbors have been shoveling over 50 inches of snow so far (the last three snow falls) and we are going to get four more inches today of "inconvenient truth." Everything has been paralized for almost a week.
God works in wonderful ways, always with a plan, yet the liberal/progressives started spinning immediately this across-the-nation record snow and cold into evidence of global warming. How one's mind can make such a connection, it is unbelievable. Liberalism is a mental disorder, to quote a famous radio talk show host.

Let's get real. If you're right or left don't read this. Where I live used to be a glacier. It melted before Col. Drake was even a gleam. You can prove anything if you accept statistics as proof. I can prove that the woman standing on the street corner accosting strange to ask them if they knew statistics proved this or that was a prostitute. But let's look at the facts. A gazillion people breathing puts out a lot of heat. But the bison aren't breathing any more. Still, we're putting out more heat. Reasonably we can assume that all the cities along the coasts have a role in climate change. Skyscrapers and mountains of heated air take the place of natural mountains which are responsible for, or were formerly for, the climate on either side.

God is Omnipotent.
This Beloved Country was going to "FORCED" to destruction by the "Ridiculous Cap & Trade" and "the Heaven rescued Land" now, can Thank God that He has preserved us a Nation, once again.(Remember the Star-Spangled Banner)
If anyone thinks that they are so smart and deny that the Lord doesn't "rescue this Beloved Country, I will give you, Patrick Henry:
"Whether (the independence of the United States) will prove a blessing or a curse will depend upon the use our people make of the blessings which a gracious God hath bestowed on us. If they are WISE, they will be great and happy. If they are of a contrary character, they will be miserable. Righteousness alone can exalt them as a nation.(Remember this in this business about Sodomites in the Military)
READER, Whoever thou art, remember this; and in thy sphere, practice virtue thyself, and encourage it in others.
