Year-End Campaign Report #4
Since our first year in circulation in 1996, Patriots like you have always ensured that The Patriot Post ended each year in the black. We are getting close this year. As of this morning, we have raised nearly 55 percent of our 2010 Year-End Campaign budget. We have 24 days left to meet our budget commitments and must raise approximately $157,000 before year’s end.
That’s a substantial amount of donor commitment with just a few days left in the year, but, typically, 10 percent of our revenues are donated in the last week of the year.
Every week, The Patriot Post provides our readers with a synopsis of the most important news, using a constitutional context for critical issues and policy matters. No other media outlet, conservative or otherwise, consistently provides this unique perspective on current news. And what’s more, we do it without charging a subscription fee.
While The Patriot Post serves as a main news source for many of our readers, it is also an essential educational tool for students who are constantly subjected to the liberal drivel of the Left:
“I am a senior in high school in New York and I would like to take this time to thank all of you at The Patriot Post. A few months ago, I was utterly devoid of hope. Every night on the news, there was another mad idea set forth by the Obama administration, and it seemed like the whole world had turned into a three-ring circus. I felt the America of my childhood was falling into decay – an America of freedom, economic liberty and traditional values. Then my mother e-mailed me an article from The Patriot Post. At first, I thought her actions to encourage me were futile, but as I read, I felt that, at last, I was in good company. The Patriot Post proved to me something my mother has often told me: ‘No matter what evil befalls this world, Mary, there are always people who find a way to do the good thing, the right thing.’ So, I decided to join that good thing and I subscribed. Thank you for showing me that I am not alone, that though much of America’s youth may be swayed, there is still a place for a teenager to find the truth. God bless you.” –Mary, New York
