The New 2nd Amendment

Sep. 17, 2013

Did someone say “indoctrination”? According to textbooks being circulated throughout a Denton, Texas school district, “The people have the right to keep and bear arms in a state militia (emphasis added).”

As ratified, here's what the 2nd Amendment really says: “A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.” And for anyone wondering what the Founders meant by the term “militia,” read about it in their own words.

All part of the push by the left to "turn" Texas. Make no mistake - they've written off the parents, but are coming after the children.

It is so typical of libs to redefine terms to suit their own agenda. When will we put an end to their lies?

Two chances: First in 2014. Second, in 2016. Failing that, "when" may well become academic.

The original text is crucial to understanding the intent - this "summary" is clearly designed to mold the little goop heads into proper little sheep of the progressives.

Public School is Child Abuse. This is not education, but indoctrination, and designed to produce another useful idiot member of the collective, dependent on government.

The problem begins at the top of the page when the amendments are "summarized". Summarization leaves room for interpretation, and the one interpreting can take it where they want. Use the REAL words and this issue goes away. This is an AP study guide, surely these kids can handle the REAL words.....

Cory in Afton, WY replied:

Depends on what age they are exposed to the "real words" (if at all), by whom, and under what agenda.

this "new" version of the second amendment needs to be revisited by Texas lawmakers, and just like colorado, we need to assertively make demands on these lawmakers that if they do not do the will of the people(majority) they will be removed!!
