Obama Widens Income Gap

Nov. 18, 2013

Wasn't Obamanomics supposed to close the income gap? According to the Washington Post, “The income gap in America has been widening for decades and the modest three-year recovery did little to change that, according to new Census data. The new data suggest that despite modest recoveries in many states, the middle class has been shrinking while households have been added in the lowest and highest income brackets.” Yet the Left believes that redistributing more wealth through excessive taxation is the answer. And if you needed any indication of how out of touch our lawmakers are, consider this statistic out of our nation's capitol: The Post reports that, “During the past decade, the region added 21,000 households in the nation's top 1 percent. No other metro area came close.”

"... modest three-year recovery" ??????????

To paraphrase Winston Churchill: "A modest recovery with much to be modest about."

The Carter economy was better than this Obama "recovery."

Here in Seattle, A ballot issue is being hotly contested to raise the minimum wage to $15.00 / Hour (although this will be in effect in a defined area around Seatac airport). Time will tell whether it passes or not, however Seattle also just elected their first (openly) Socialist Committee woman however her agenda is clear. Liberalism is alive and thriving in Seattle!! I'm wondering if more than just a few people can see through this bright facade to see the walls crumbling behind?

Redistribution of wealth is based on the faulty premise that wealth is finite. When the government takes wealth from the rich and gives it away to the poor, they are not shuffling money around. The rich are being punished for working hard (taxes, regulations, etc.) and the poor are having their dignity and self respect stolen from them leading to a permanent poverty class. Everyone must have "skin" in the game. ( repeal of the income tax and installation of a national sales/consumption tax). The. current socialist administration is attempting to destroy the free enterprise system, and they do not have the best interest of the American people at heart. As hard as government employees might work, they do not create wealth.

In a radio interview in 2001, Barack was quite verbose about "deep flaws" in our Constitution caused by "an enormous blind spot" of our Founders..."the fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day."
His complaint was that there was no provision for redistribution of wealth: impoverish the rich in order to enrich the masses.
(pretty amazing for someone who claims to have taught the Constitution at the U of Chicago (they've denied) because redistribution of wealth is ONLY a socialistic/communistic ideal...and our Constitution makes no demand on what form of economic system our nation was to have; each State could choose for themselves: some form of capitalism or a variation of socialism...whatever they wanted! So there is absolutely NO PLACE in the Constitution to insert Barack's concept!)

His stance is not at all surprising since every person who influenced his life was a communist (mommy / daddy / step-daddy Soetoro / Frank Marshal Davis / Bill Ayers / his 'Uncle Omar' / Soros). Presently, his "most trusted" WH advisor is deep-end communist Valerie Jarrett.

The communist (led by SDS) "hippie culture" of the 60-70's DETESTED "the Establishment, man!"....the capitalistic free enterprise system. And these communists detested anyone who used free-enterprise to become wealthy....exactly as Barack does.
Why?
A number of reasons:
a) these loonies thought "it ain't fair, comrade!" that the person who risked everything and worked 60 hour weeks should make more than the high school drop-out who made minimum sweeping floors
b) capitalistic success stories are not helpful in promoting the idea that capitalism destroys dreams and opportunity for "the workers, man!".
c) capitalism has to be labeled/declared "evil" before destroying it (via debt) and replacing it with a communist oligarchy with these self-proclaimed "intellectual elite" academics at the helm.
("intellectual elite": does this remind anyone else of the term 'master race'??)
THIS is why the liberals have not done 1 damn thing to mend our economy in 5 years: they WANT it broken.

It is time to stop pretending that the difference between left and right is merely that of perspective or opinion.
Right is freedom and limited central government (our Constitution)
Left is dictatorial, invasive, rights-erasing 'Big Brother' communism....which is most evidently encroaching upon We the People....while the Democrats gloat and the Republicans pretend not to notice.
