DOJ to Offer ‘Guidance’ on Racial Profiling
Get ready for a “conversation on race” courtesy of the Obama administration. Attorney General Eric Holder, who once said Americans are “cowards” on racial issues, said Monday at Martin Luther King Jr.‘s church in Atlanta: “In the coming days, I will announce updated Justice Department guidance regarding profiling by federal law enforcement. This will institute rigorous new standards – and robust safeguards – to help end racial profiling, once and for all. This new guidance will codify our commitment to the very highest standards of fair and effective policing.” Holder is absolutely not the authority on what’s “fair and effective,” much less what constitutes proper Rule of Law. Holder and his boss have inflamed the racial tension that boiled over in Ferguson, Missouri, focusing as always on the color of skin instead of content of character.
