The Patriot Post® · Joe Biden Is Lying, Say Hunter and James Biden
The American people are fairly united in thinking that Joe Biden’s mental decline is so pronounced that it limits his ability to do his job. Special Counsel Robert Hur concluded as much when electing not to charge Biden over mishandling classified documents. A New York Times poll that holds huge warning signs for the incumbent reveals that 75% of registered voters think Biden is “just too old to be an effective president.” That includes 61% of the people who voted for him in 2020. Ouch.
What Joe Biden was not too old to do, however, was assist and profit from his son Hunter’s foreign business dealings. Always remember that when Hunter’s name comes up. Hunter’s laptop and lucrative foreign escapades matter because of Joe’s role in Biden Inc.
Hunter Biden as well as the president’s brother James sat for closed-door congressional depositions last week, and House Republicans have released 450 pages of transcripts here and here.
We can’t hit everything here, and not a single one of the Bidens is an honest broker, but that doesn’t mean this testimony was useless. There were plenty of big takeaways in terms of what the two men either confirmed or declined to deny, often because of their own sudden-onset memory issues.
For example, Hunter essentially confirmed that his dad is the “big guy” referenced in emails about reserving a 10% cut of the earnings for him. Remember, that was supposedly “Russian disinformation.”
Hunter also effectively acknowledged the truthfulness of previous testimony from his associates Tony Bobulinski and Devon Archer, both of whom said Joe Biden was at the center of these deals because the Biden name was the “brand” Hunter was selling. It was access to the levers of power and influence. Archer said, “Burisma would have gone out of business if it didn’t have the brand attached to it.” No wonder Hunter, who had no relevant experience with Burisma’s business, had a well-paid seat on its board.
Joe Biden called in on Hunter’s speakerphone for business calls. He worked to influence and woo potential business partners. He showed up at business dinners. He enabled transactions. All the while, Hunter and James cashed in to the tune of tens of millions of dollars, though in their testimonies both men had difficulty explaining what services they were providing — at least not without incriminating the president, who repeatedly swore that he had nothing to do with his son or brother’s business dealings.
Heck, Hunter Biden reiterated that same lie in his opening statement. “I did not involve my father in my business, not while I was a practicing lawyer, not in my investments or transactions, domestic or international, not as a board member, and not as an artist, never,” he insisted — before confirming that his bluster was a lie.
James Biden, meanwhile, confirmed that Joe Biden personally received $40,000 from a Chinese firm. Yet he insisted, “I never asked my brother to take any official action on behalf of me, my business associates, or anyone else.” Bill Clinton would be proud of that word parsing.
Biden may be impeached over this, though the Senate will let him off and Republicans ought to proceed with caution. But one thing should be abundantly clear to voters: Biden campaigned in 2020 as a better man than Donald Trump — more moral, more decent, more stable.
He’s still lying about it, too. “I did not interact with their partners,” he snapped at reporters just this past weekend. Moreover, he insisted, Republicans “have got to stop” going after him and his family because they can “read the record of every single witness.”
Uh, those records show what we already know, that Joe Biden is a liar. Hunter and James Biden just said Joe is a liar. Maybe he should read those records.
What Hunter and James Biden essentially confirmed last week is something voters should have been allowed to hear in 2020 were it not for Leftmedia and Big Tech censors: Joe Biden lied about virtually everything he said about his family’s business dealings to cover up for the clear corruption involved. Does a demented 81-year-old man with a track record of lies and influence peddling deserve another four years at the helm?
