At least Tim Walz isn’t sleeping with a Chinese spy. We’ll give him that. Tim Walz is no Eric Swalwell. But still. The Communist Chinese are no doubt rubbing their hands together with glee now that another one of their friendlies is this close [holds index finger and thumb an inch apart] to the highest office in the United States.

As we noted two weeks ago, Walz has, by his own admission, taken more than 30 trips to Communist China. Might this be of concern to the American people? After all, 30 trips to any foreign land seems a bit excessive, much less to the foreign land of our foremost geopolitical foe. And it seems especially curious on the salary of a guy who was for years a public school teacher, wouldn’t you say?

Walz even honeymooned in China, much like socialist Bernie Sanders honeymooned in the old Soviet Union. Why, it’s almost as if socialist Bernie and social-studies Timmy were fellow travelers. Almost as if Walz were being groomed. Far be it from us to suggest that Kamala’s colleague is a useful idiot, or commie-symp stooge, or, worse, a Mandarin candidate. But if the Mao suit fits, he should wear it, right?

Before I go any further, let me set the table on China. To do so, I’ll excerpt from what FBI Director Chris Wray said about the Communist Chinese some four years ago:

If you are an American adult, it is more likely than not that China has stolen your personal data. In 2017, the Chinese military conspired to hack Equifax and made off with the sensitive personal information of 150 million Americans — we’re talking nearly half of the American population and most American adults — and as I’ll discuss in a few moments, this was hardly a standalone incident. Our data isn’t the only thing at stake here — so are our health, our livelihoods, and our security. We’ve now reached the point where the FBI is opening a new China-related counterintelligence case about every 10 hours. Of the nearly 5,000 active FBI counterintelligence cases currently underway across the country, almost half are related to China.

As we’ve written before, China’s espionage threat is no laughing matter. And its influence within our institutions is pernicious.

Furthermore, as Michael Pillsbury writes in his penetrating book on the Chinese threat, The Hundred-Year Marathon: China’s Secret Strategy to Replace America as the Global Superpower: “The Chinese have for years divided foreign countries’ policymakers into various categories according to the degree to which the Chinese believe they will promote Beijing’s preferred messaging. … The Chinese refer to those considered sympathetic as China’s ‘dear friends.’ In the United States, the list includes a plethora of academics and current and former government officials.”

Much like the Communist Chinese plied the Biden Crime Family with gifts, they also did so with Walz — and of Walz’s own admission. As The Washington Free Beacon reports, after one of his many trips to China, Walz “said he received a salary that was double the pay of Chinese teachers, was given a decorated apartment with a color TV, and had the only air-conditioned residence on campus. He said he was also thrown parties on his birthday and Christmas. ‘No matter how long I live, I’ll never be treated that well again,’ he told Nebraska’s Alliance Times-Herald in 1991, adding, ‘They gave me more gifts than I could bring home. It was an excellent experience.’”

This “excellent experience” seems to have influenced the way Walz teaches. And how could it not? “It means that everyone is the same and everyone shares,” he told his students in a 1991 lesson on the communist system. “The doctor and the construction worker make the same. The Chinese government and the place they work for provide housing and 14 kg or about 30 pounds of rice per month. They get food and housing.”

Strange, but he didn’t mention anything about harvesting organs from live prisoners, nor about shooting dissidents in the head and then billing the family for the bullet.

Indiana Congressman Jim Banks, himself a veteran, wants the Pentagon to investigate whether Walz has complied with foreign travel reporting requirements — some of which took place while he was a senior ranking member of his state’s Army National Guard. As Banks noted in a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin: “Any individual traveling dozens of times to an adversary nation in a personal capacity while having access to classified information poses an obvious security risk. I am therefore concerned that Governor Walz may have failed to comply with foreign travel reporting requirements during these trips to China, despite his duty as a security clearance holder to protect our national security.”

Will anything come of Banks’s inquiry? You tell us. And yet, can there be any doubt that Tim Walz is a “dear friend” of Communist China? At the very least, shouldn’t we be asking some serious questions about Walz’s relationships with the commies?

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer seems to agree, and he announced Friday that he’s launching an investigation into what he says is Walz’s “extensive engagement with China.” As Comer notes, “The CCP has sought to destroy the United States through coordinated influence and infiltration campaigns that target every aspect of American life, including our own elected officials.”

On a related note, House Republicans earlier this week released their impeachment inquiry report on Joe Biden. As we reported, there’s no question it was timed to coincide with the Democrats’ convention in Chicago. But it’s not just politics as usual. According to the 292-page report, the Republicans “have accumulated evidence demonstrating that President Biden has engaged in impeachable conduct.”

Once again, we ask: Will anything come of it? And the answer is: Of course not. So, while the Biden Crime Family has effectively run out the clock on its deeply compromising ties with the Chinese Communists, a new agent of Chinese influence appears before us.

That agent is Tim Walz. And those on the Right had better have plenty of questions for him between now and November 5.
