“All of this violence has a common denominator — the perpetrator is usually to some degree mentally ill. The biggest social error since the 1950s has been the closing of long-term psychiatric hospitals. “The Biden/Harris scheme to tax ‘unrealized capital gains’ isn’t just a bad idea, it’s illegal. Unrealized capital gains are not yet a source of income, just like next year’s employee paychecks are not yet a source of income. Until an asset is sold, any capital gains are ‘unreal,’ i.e., they do not yet exist, and hence cannot legally be taxed. So, unless people want to pass a constitutional amendment allowing the government to collect taxes on future paychecks, they should resist this scheme, because the principle is identical.” —Minnesota

“I am concerned that Kamala has all the traits of a dictator, and handing her the presidency will launch far worse limitations to our freedoms than we have seen so far. She is educated as an attorney. She has served in enough governmental capacities that she knows how to game the law. You think lawfare is bad now? “Not a surprise. The same strategy was used during the Hunter Biden paternity and child support trial. The truth is, the Biden administration will never allow Hunter to go on trial, as too many inconvenient truths about Biden family corruption will be exposed. As Mr. Jackson states, the Big Guy will not let the smartest man he knows spend a day behind bars. Perhaps this is the real reason why Biden dropped out of the race for the presidency!” —California

“Dick Cheney was always a creep and did far more to taint the Bush presidency than he did to help it. Now his directionless, valueless daughter wants to punish Republicans for their well-deserved scorn of her, in hopes of regaining some form of political revenge and relevance — or at least employment — in a cushy, do-nothing post from the Harris administration. Gag-inducing. My advice to her would be to just shut up. Settle in with a nice bottle of cab and enjoy the gorgeous view of the Tetons from your celestial estate. “Personally, I don’t get the arguments of climate problems because the numbers are too fictitious to make sense. However, I do understand that some of our waterways are toxic. I wish they would stop trying to fix CO2 and instead fix our water. I personally would like to understand where all the lithium ion batteries are going to be stored from all the TVs, cellphones, cars, and whatever else. These items have a life in the garbage dumps of forever. And what about the remains from the wind turbines? How long will they be in dumps, and where will all these dumps be? Let’s put money where it makes sense and let capitalism fix the climate problems.” —Wisconsin
