Of all the poorly executed policies of the Biden/Harris administration, it can perhaps be said that their “green” initiatives have hurt the American people the most.

The Green New Deal was basically implemented through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Inflation Reduction Act, and the incredible amount of money thrown at climate initiatives helped push our economy into the highest inflationary cycle since the 1980s. The saddest part about throwing hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars toward the “green” agenda is that it’s all a waste because those in charge have failed to do their homework on what sort of initiatives can actually help us meet our CO₂ emissions reduction goal.

In fact, a whopping 4% of all climate policies implemented worldwide between 1998 and 2022 were effective at reducing emissions. This is according to a new study published in the journal Science.

As a presidential candidate, Kamala Harris has flip-flopped policy-wise on most issues, including the climate. She is on the record stating in 2019 that she would ban fracking, but a few weeks ago, she had an aid assert that she would not ban fracking.

Even during her infamously poor interview with CNN’s Dana Bash last week, she was unable/unwilling to defend her policy positions.

This week, former President Donald Trump held a town hall with Fox News’s Sean Hannity in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and the question of fracking came up. Trump, with his usual panache, stated: “If [Harris] won, you’re not going to have any fracking in Pennsylvania. You have 500,000 jobs. Think of that. It’s your biggest business. And you get a big majority of your income from fracking. And you have somebody that’s not going to allow fracking. She’s not going to allow it. You can’t take the chance. You have no choice. You’ve got to vote for me.”

Here is the heart of the whole climate issue: Do we elect a politician who has a record of promoting bad climate initiatives and extravagant spending in the name of the false virtue it provides, or do we elect a former president who ushered in a booming economy and energy independence after the setback of the Obama-era recession?

Trump is very forthright in his vision and position on the subject. Kamala is silent. Frankly, the vibes aren’t going to cut it.

Harris has no good leg to stand on when it comes to climate policy, and this issue is an important one for over a third of voters. According to Pew Research, “Overall, 37% of Americans say addressing climate change should be a top priority for the president and Congress … and another 34% say it’s an important but lower priority. This ranks climate change 17th out of 21 national issues.”

Sixty-three out of 1,500 climate policies were effective at stopping emissions, according to the Science study mentioned above. The policies that failed utterly were subsidies and regulations. Team Biden/Harris already chose to implement these failed strategies again and again. It is these boondoggles that have greatly contributed to the poor economy, yet Biden and Harris aren’t reversing course.

Kamala may be close-mouthed about her current policies, but her actions speak louder than her words ever could.
