Biden/ChiCom meeting: On Saturday, Joe Biden met with Chinese communist leader Xi Jinping in Peru. The apparent issue at hand was President-elect Donald Trump. Xi offered the typical niceties while also noting that the U.S.-China relationship has “gone through ups and downs.” That was an obvious reference to the juxtaposition of Trump’s first term with Biden’s. China was reportedly shaken by Trump’s landslide victory, and Xi is seeking to set a tone of cooperation. “China is ready to work with the new U.S. administration,” he asserted. Also on the table was the use of AI in weapons development, particularly regarding nuclear weapons. “The two leaders affirmed the need to maintain human control over the decision to use nuclear weapons,” according to the White House, and “also stressed the need to consider carefully the potential risks and develop AI technology in the military field in a prudent and responsible manner.”
PA fraudsters say the quiet part out loud: Democrats cheat. It’s what they do. So we shouldn’t be surprised by their despicable attempt to overturn Pennsylvania’s senatorial election, in which Democrat incumbent Bob Casey lost by 26,000 votes to Republican Dave McCormick. Casey has refused to concede, even though the Associated Press long ago called the race for McCormick. It gets worse: Even The New York Times is now confirming that officials in Democrat-controlled counties are ignoring a state Supreme Court ruling and counting ballots that have been disqualified due to the lack of a signature or the lack of a date. Apparently, these cheating Democrats believe these illegal votes will benefit their guy, Casey. This can only end one way, though: in disgrace for Casey and his fellow election-denying Democrats. Here’s Utah Republican Senator Mike Lee, citing that pesky ol’ U.S. Constitution: “If Bob Casey doesn’t concede, Pennsylvania keeps counting illegal votes, and Casey relies on those votes to claim victory, the Senate could refuse to seat him Article I, Sec. 5, Cl. 1: ‘Each House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members.’”
Iowa shock poll fraudster is, ahem, retiring: “Ann Selzer Is The Best Pollster In Politics,” reads the freshness-dated headline of a FiveThirtyEight article from early 2016 lauding “her uncannily accurate” results. Yeah, right. Selzer, as we noted on November 4, tried to concoct a piece of electioneering pollaganda with a grotesquely inaccurate poll showing Kamala Harris leading Donald Trump 47-44 in Iowa just days before the American people went to the polls. As it turns out, she missed by a whopping 16 points, and now, in the wake of the outrage, she’s calling it quits with her election polling operation. Maybe, as most of these announcements go, she wants to spend more time with her family. Either way, good riddance to the pollagandist Selzer.
Will gov employees quit en masse because of Trump? It’s a delicious prospect, the mass resignations of thousands of indignant Swamp-dwelling Democrats. And it probably has as much chance of happening as that mass exodus of glitterati who promise to leave the country whenever a Republican wins the White House. But we can dream, can’t we? As Hot Air’s David Strom writes, “Christopher Wray is going to leave soon, the Special Council is closing down his investigation, FBI brass are looking for the exits, woke flag officers are looking at the exits, FDA and CDC bureaucrats are updating their resumes, and the trash at the Justice Department is going to take itself out. It’s glorious.” It is glorious, but what if the high-level departures are only the beginning? Alas, rather than self-deport, these careerists will likely get over their angst and commit themselves to the resistance. But, as Republican strategist Mercedes Schlapp notes, “If even a single career bureaucrat showed up to a cry session over Trump’s election, they must be fired immediately.”

NYT’s embarrassing RFK “fact-check”: In an attempt to reinforce the narrative that Donald Trump’s pick for health secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is an anti-science quack, The New York Times “fact-checked” a claim he made during a recent interview with MSNBC. Certain departments within the FDA could be eliminated because “they’re not doing their job,” Kennedy argued. “They’re not protecting our kids. Why do we have Froot Loops in this country that have 18 or 19 ingredients, and you go to Canada, and it’s got two or three?” The Times asserted that Kennedy was wrong: “The ingredient list is roughly the same, although Canada’s has natural colorings made from blueberries and carrots while the U.S. product contains red dye 40, yellow five and blue one as well as Butylated hydroxytoluene, or BHT, a lab-made chemical that is used ‘for freshness,’ according to the ingredient label.” Social media users mocked the Times for, ironically, proving Kennedy’s point. One popular post observed, “As you see, the ingredient list is just completely identical, except the US product contains formaldehyde, cyanide, and nearly undetectable levels of saxitoxin.‘”

Laken Riley fought for her life: The Biden-Harris administration “has blood on its hands,” said incoming border czar Tom Homan, making a point that is now obvious to all sentient Americans. “Listen to the way that young lady died,” urged Homan, speaking of the 911 call made by Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, who was “allegedly” murdered by a predatory Venezuelan illegal immigrant named Jose Ibarra. “Listen to her fight for her life for 17 minutes, fighting for breath, fighting to survive.” The trial of Ibarra continues in Georgia, and American women continue to be preyed upon by the dregs of other countries. “He went hunting for females on the University of Georgia campus,” said prosecutor Sheila Ross, “and on his hunt, he encountered 22-year-old Laken Riley on her morning jog. When Laken Riley refused to be his rape victim, he bashed her skull in with a rock repeatedly.” Sadly, if and when Ibarra is convicted, his punishment will be life in prison at American taxpayer expense. But in the coming months, as Donald Trump makes good on his promise of mass deportations and the Left raises its predictable objections about the inhumanity of it all, we should remember the inhumanity of Laken Riley’s murder.
Pentagon fails audit again: For the seventh consecutive time, the Pentagon has failed an audit, unable to fully account for its $824 billion budget. However, a disclaimer was included with the most recent report, noting that auditors were not provided with sufficient information and, therefore, could not compile an accurate budget accounting. Despite this failed audit, Under Secretary of Defense and Chief Financial Officer Michael McCord claimed that the agency “has turned a corner in its understanding of the depth and breadth of its challenges” to achieve a clean audit by 2028. “Momentum is on our side, and throughout the Department there is strong commitment — and belief in our ability — to achieve an unmodified audit opinion,” he added. McCord refused to say the audit “failed,” contending, “So, if someone had a report card that is half good and half not good, I don’t know that you call the student or the report card a failure.” Uh, yeah, 50% is an “F.”
Over 800 IRS employees owe millions in back taxes: Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) has made it her mission to hold the IRS accountable for blatant hypocrisy. She recently noted that of the 2,044 IRS employees who reported collectively owing over $12 million, 860 of them have still not paid their overdue taxes. Furthermore, of the 70 IRS employees who “willfully evaded” paying their taxes, 50 of them still remain employed at the agency. “We haven’t seen a tax revolt like this since the Boston Tea Party,” Ernst stated. “If hardworking Americans dodge taxes, they are faced with steep fines and imprisonment, but it appears that tax collectors in Washington believe those rules are for thee but not for me.” Back in July, Ernst discovered that more than 5,800 IRS employees and contractors owed some $50 million in back taxes. Pointing to Donald Trump’s newly created Department of Government Efficiency, headed by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, Ernst advised, “While Elon Musk and the Trump administration are looking to eliminate waste, I can think of no better place to start than by firing every single IRS agent refusing to pay taxes.”
