Re: Dems’ ICE Fearmongering Fails
“Great idea to get the SAVE America Act passed piecemeal in reconciliation. Bury the wording in a long bill. Then bury language in another reconciliation bill that strips out unwanted parts of the original reconciliation bill.” —Florida
“The Democrats engaging is these tactics are actually working at the behest of the Democratic Socialists of America, who are calling the shots. These socialist stooges in Congress are not working toward the best interests of this republic and are, in fact, trying to bring it down. They should be recognized for what they are: enemies. Instead, they get paid a salary to subvert us, using our own money to do so.” —Utah
Re: The Right’s Strength Depends on Rejecting Identity Politics
“Fundamentally, Islam is more a political ideology than a religion. An ideology whose existence, as is transparently evident throughout its entire history and in every Islamic nation, has spread by coercion rather than by convincing, by murder rather than by missionaries. It’s the reign of the hand rather than of the heart. It’s characterized by terror rather than by truth. Adherents of Islam should be judged not by what they say but by what they do!” —Colorado
“While it is true that a lot of people of the Muslim faith work and live in the U.S. peacefully, there are many who live and practice Sharia law, which is antithetical to American law. How can we allow this? There are cities and neighborhoods that are no-go zones for non-Muslims. The Muslim religion is not compatible with Christian mores and beliefs.” —California
“Muslims who believe in and push Sharia law are not practicing a religion. They are pushing a violent, bullying, and predatory political system that is incompatible with the American Constitution, personal freedom, and basic human rights and dignity.” —Delaware
“Religion is the condition that forms cultural norms. It is also one of the most important factors in assimilation ability. Islam does not and cannot assimilate into a Western Civilizational structure built on Christian values. Muslims worship a bigamist, child-raping, violent warlord who preached mercy when he was weak and cruelty when he was strong. There is no justification for allowing those with that philosophy into the U.S.” —Tennessee
Re: The Big Apple’s Rotten Power Couple
“Because of their allegiance to Islam, Muslims cannot assimilate into American culture. As their population grows in areas of our country, they form their own power structures and infuse their leaders into our political arenas. Our country and our Constitution were formed basically to follow the Ten Commandments, not the Quran. That should therefore disqualify any Muslim from holding public office in the United States.” —California
Re: America’s Radicalization Crisis
“My stepdaughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter are refugees from Ukraine who came here two years ago via the U4U program and were (thankfully) granted another two-year extension. They are both talented, skilled workers with jobs and receive $0 in public money, except for Medicaid for the granddaughter (which Illinois gave them without asking). My son-in-law recently expressed his love for American football. My eight-year-old granddaughter says, ‘I’m an American.’ In English. These are the kind of immigrants we need.” —Oklahoma
“I came here legally from the UK in 1978 with my boys ages four and six. We were strongly encouraged to assimilate. My six-year-old’s teacher told me not to read to my children until I learned to pronounce words the ‘right’ way. Since then, the schools have gone in the opposite direction, and instead of encouraging assimilation, they are encouraging separation. Assimilation was sometimes hard, and even now I still get homesick for my homeland. But assimilation was and always will be the best way forward, and we need to get back to insisting on it. For the record, my six-year-old grew up to be a U.S. Marine, serving on active duty for 32 years before retiring as Master Gun. My four-year-old served 10 years in the Army/Army Reserve. All three of us are naturalized Americans.” —Kansas
“It can’t be said enough: it is not about hating who is outside our doors. It is about loving who is within them.” —Illinois
Re: Dems Can’t Get Enough of Your Money
“I will always remember a conversation I had with my dad back in 1970. When he was trying to hire an accounting clerk, she told him that she had to make $15/hour or she couldn’t take the job. Her reasoning was that the assistance for her housing, food stamps, and insurance allowed her to live a lifestyle of at least $12/hour (at that time, the minimum wage was not even $2/hour). Once again, the Left assumes everyone is stupid and cannot figure out why city plantations have been a disaster.” —Wisconsin
“If my memory is correct, the military under the leadership of Gen. Tommy Franks won in Afghanistan and Iraq after three weeks — and then the politicians entered the picture.” —Minnesota
