Re: Virginia, Sic Semper Tyrannis?
“As long as the public sees the lack of accountability for public officials breaking the law, as was the case every day with the Biden-Harris administration, people will eventually pay little or no attention to the daily noise that has become politics in America. If you are part of the insider group, you can do as you please with no accountability. Eventually, they just lack the will to pay attention.” —Washington
“This is an excellent summary of Virginia’s slide to the left. It is always a reassuring pleasure to read Patriot Post analysis on these issues.” —Georgia
“Excellent analysis and unfortunately true! I hope my home state can survive!” —Virginia
Re: Fauci Manipulated CIA on COVID Origins
“Yes, the feckless Democrats and their science buddies destroyed personal lives. My granddaughter was dismissed from her preferred studies as she would not take the jab. To this day, I don’t want violence, but I would like to see responsibility taken by the donkey party.” —Montana
“Seems like every nook and cranny of government has learned Hillary Clinton’s scandal-deflation technique: Deny, lie, deny again, lie some more, then let the truth trickle out a little bit at a time. Never let anyone pop the full balloon. Let the air out slowly.” —Idaho
“The average 12-year-old could recite a number of reasons why researching deadly sources of weapons with the Chinese was not in keeping with common sense. Was Fauci unable to convince American scientists to pursue this deadly research? And where did the money come from? If I ‘accidentally’ burned down my neighbor’s home, would I not still be responsible and accountable? Fauci and China got away with mass murder.” —Georgia
Re: Gas Taxes and Bloating Prices
“Gas prices are indeed a Gordian Knot of regulations that do nothing but drive up costs. When my fellow Californians complain about the high cost of gas under Trump, I reply that perhaps a better question is why Californians always pay around $2 more than the national average. Even Hawaii has cheaper gas than California. Shuts them up!” —California
“Why are gasoline taxes all of a sudden the culprit? Nothing has been reported about the states or the federal government raising taxes on gasoline. In fact, President Trump declared America to be energy independent, leading us to believe we don’t depend on oil from the Middle East or anywhere else. If that’s the case, why are the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel skyrocketing? The bloating has two sources — we’re being gouged by the oil companies and victimized by Wall Street speculators.” —Kentucky
Re: Why Pro-Israel Politics Is Changing on the Right
“Political pundits will do anything to avoid connecting the deliberate importation of millions of antisemitic Muslims into the U.S. and the pernicious influence they have on every aspect of our civilization. The promulgation of Jew hatred in all areas of their growing influence is not a side effect; it’s the reason they were imported. Dancing around the real impetus of this problem without naming it only strengthens it.” —Texas
“A great article that notes disagreement with some of Israel’s defense strategy and policy without charges of antisemitism. No country is perfect. But this reasonable disagreement does not impugn the safety or well-being of the Jewish religion or Israeli citizens. Innocent citizens of neighboring states deserve protection and freedom to live their lives as they have for centuries.” —Pennsylvania
Re: Thousands of Churches Promote Immigration Lawlessness
“I have no objection to a church offering sanctuary, as this has been a historical practice of the church. Of course, this historical practice required the person to admit his crime, and the person was only protected for as long as he remained inside the church premises. So, if a church wants to offer sanctuary to an illegal immigrant, then it should provide food and housing within its own premises. Otherwise, this is not a sanctuary; it is just virtue signaling (as the author says). When the church offers sanctuary, it does so as a costly act of mercy (costly because the church is providing free housing, food, clothing, etc.). Without cost, this offer of sanctuary is not religious mercy, it is politics.” —California
“Using the cloak of the Lord to shield their parishioners from the sword of the King against the word of the Lord.” —Nevada
Re: The Consequences of Opening the Floodgates to Fraud and Foreigners
“Mayorkas could have and should have resigned if he didn’t like Biden’s border policy. Trump told Hannity that not letting in Chinese students would be insulting to China and that many lower-level colleges would close. Guess he doesn’t care how many Chinese spies there will be in the country.” —Minnesota
Re: Race-Baiting Has Become the Left’s Most Dangerous Political Weapon
“Good article, but those of us on the Right are ordinary Americans. The only people gullible enough to be persuaded by the Left’s incessant accusations of racism are those who are ignorant of the facts, those who are too stupid to understand them, and those who are too disinterested to care. Unfortunately, that adds up to a sizable Democrat constituency.” —Georgia
