“Governor DeSantis was spot on when referring to GoFundMe potentially commandeering the $9 million in donations for the Canadian Freedom Convoy as fraud. Beyond that, whether we’re talking about mask mandates or vaccine mandates or lockdowns, here in America, or in Canada, or in Australia, or wherever, it seems to me the word ‘fraud’ is conspicuously missing. The whole lot of these measures have, from the very beginning, been touted as the COVID crisis cure. The ‘temporary’ measures have expanded into a two-year permanency. That’s the fraud. So while we’re correct to fight for our rights as free people, we also must condemn our various governments for the fraud they insist we accept, and purge those who’ve been behind it.” —Illinois

“Absolutely spot on. Glad to see others finally taking a stand for Mike. He is truly a man of God and a man of stellar reputation, unlike Donald. I would like to see Mike Pence in the White House. I know he would truly be a man of God, not one of these faux Christian presidents we have continually had in the past. We need younger men and women leading, not more old coots. Kudos to Mike and all he stands for. Donald Trump needs to grow up and get a life.” —Oregon

“If vice presidents have the power to reject Electoral College ballots, then Al Gore would have been the 45th president of the United States. After all, it was his campaign that questioned the validity of the Florida electors after multiple failures to find enough votes in Broward County to give him the win in that state and in the Electoral College. If President Trump is right on that issue, then Vice President Gore could have tossed the Florida votes and made himself president. The Founders had no intention of giving that kind of power to the vice president; they designated him for that ceremonial role to prevent politicking and game-playing. The entire procedure was designed to prevent Electoral College vote fraud.” —Minnesota

“Trump’s idea of courage is that if a decision benefits him, it’s ‘courageous.’ Republicans need to be done with Trump, once and for all. Throughout the Obama years, he was referred to often as ‘narcissist-in-chief’ in The Patriot Post. That term certainly fits Trump. He’s no longer the narcissist-in-chief, but he remains a narcissist. Trump seems hell-bent on going for the 2024 Republican nomination for president and expects all other potential candidates to kiss his ring and defer to him. In his narcissistic mind, only he is worthy of the nomination. If Republicans support him and he achieves that end, disaster awaits for our party — and the nation.” —Tennessee

“Since 2016, agitators (including Russian and possibly Chinese actors) have told thousands of lies about Donald Trump in an effort to divide the nation, but the DHS rightly did nothing. After all, we respect the right to free speech. But NOW the DHS is worried since this free speech is threatening Mr. Biden’s poll numbers and people are sorting out the facts for themselves. Some of the world’s most notorious terror organizations, such as the KGB and China’s Guoanbu (Ministry of State Security), have charged dissidents with the ‘crime’ of ‘sowing social discord.’ While it’s good to remind people that there are liars on the Internet with malicious intent against the nation, the DHS should not equate free speech with terrorism.” —Minnesota

“The article showed that the satirical ones by The Babylon Bee are actually not that far off the mark of current reality. I live in the United Kingdom and am amazed to see how the USA is being undermined from within by the current Biden administration and institutions that were once trusted. The leadership of the DHS and FBI are truly a laughing stock — without even the need of satire.” —UK

“It’s a good idea to study weather. Maybe in the future we can build ever faster and better weather warning systems. Other than that, the hysteria being caused by alarmists is more damaging than the weather itself. In this age of cancel culture, factions have essentially declared war on whoever doesn’t believe. I would like to remind everyone that the predictions of the 1970s, ‘80s, and '90s never came true. My weatherman still often misses the mark. Why do we want to believe the person who can’t get the 10-day forecast right, but tells us that if we don’t pay higher taxes, we’ll all die from Nevada-like weather in 100 years? By the way, those windmills are a blight on our scenery and should be replaced with billboards.” —Nevada

“Even a 10 km scale is much too small to take into account all of the effects of terrain on climate. For example, I live in a 0.1 km deep river valley that varies from 5 to 8 km in width, with various grades along the valley wall. I’ve noticed that the valley can affect the weather at least 50 km away. This alters vegetation growth, which in turn modulates the weather. Thus, over the long term, such seemingly small features change the local climate and, by extension, the general climate. Perhaps these scientists would be more productive working to predict the optimum ecosystems for moderating microclimates. Doing so would take up more 'excess’ carbon dioxide and thus more efficiently reincorporate fossil carbon into the environment.” —Minnesota

“Rush Limbaugh always said ‘the models they began with’ were flawed, which is what undermines all of their claims. Additionally, what hubris! Any changes to the earth’s climate, unless we are talking nuclear bombings, etc., are not manmade! Science has not come anywhere near determinations that the climate fear-mongers make. They are giving crack pipes and drugs to addicts. Science has given up on the problems before us.” —Ohio

“The Russian invasion story may be a dog-wagging attempt by the Biden mob to exploit American’s traditional support for action in foreign crises, simply to bail out the Democrat Party’s dismal poll ratings before the election. That’s not to deny Russia may indeed be planning to rob Ukraine again as it did in 2014 during another U.S. administration noted for incompetent foreign policy. But the Biden response to Russia’s ‘training exercise’ has been little more than banging a war drum. Its record of bungling and dishonesty undercuts its claims. A better response would have been a snap REFORGER (REturn of FORces to GERmany) exercise to remind everybody that we can respond to force with force. Sending merely 2,000 troops to Poland is unimpressive.” —Minnesota

"She’s right that the Freedom Convoy is bigger than just Ottawa. She may even be right that it represents the first stages of an insurrection. But it’s not a ‘threat’ to democracy. When an overbearing government ignores the democratic will of the people, and prevents that will even from being expressed in more conventional ways, an insurrection is the very essence of democracy. Ask King George III.” —Georgia

“I saw this coming when I lived in Canada and left when given the opportunity. The people have to accept that freedom comes at a price and that price is safety. Emergency orders have allowed a dictatorship to emerge and standing against that has made us all racists. Not because of the color of people’s skin or ethnic origins but because we are not subjects that can be ruled. So they have to take us out by calling us the most despicable names possible. Joe Rogan and others represent the middle of the country but get associated with extremists by both sides. On the other hand, I am having a hard time because I agree with Bill Maher on more today than ever and that should scare some on the Left and Right.” —Florida
