Elitist Democrat Party politicos reside in hermetically sealed bubbles. They are reality tone-deaf and, thus, keep repeating the same hypocritical political errors. But they don’t care.
Recently, there have been numerous mask-mandating Demos who have demonstrated in their unmitigated arrogance that their “rules are for thee, not for me.” The long list of most notable Demos exempting themselves from the rules they impose on you includes Joe and Jill Biden, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA), Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI), Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY), and of course even Anthony Fauci, the grand wizard of vaxxing and masking mandates.
Even Barack Obama added another photo to his “maskless among the masked” collection while visiting the construction site of his new mega-million-dollar Hawaii mansion.
Hilariously, after LA’s mask-mandating Demo Mayor Eric Garcetti was criticized for posing maskless with football celebrities last week, he explained that when he poses for photos, “I hold my breath. There’s a 0% chance of infection from that.” I mean, that worked for former President Bill Clinton when he explained on a children’s network program when asked about his marijuana use: “I didn’t inhale.”
As I have written ad infinitum, if not for double standards, Demos would have no standards!
The latest entry into the Mask-Mandate Hypocrites Hall of Infamy is Georgia’s race-bait hustler and romance novelist, Stacey Abrams, who was photographed maskless sitting among a classroom full of mask-mandated elementary school children. And she did so despite her most severe of Covid comorbidity factors, obesity. It was a photo that should terminate her political career but, of course, won’t. She doesn’t care.
Abrams attempted to deflect criticism of her “reckless and deadly” maskless behavior by invoking the race card: “It is shameful that our opponents are using a Black History Month reading event for Georgia children as the impetus for a false political attack.” That should play well with her Leftmedia propagandists.
Days later after doing some additional political calculations, she offered an excuse as an apology: “I took a picture and that was a mistake. Protocols matter and protecting our kids is the most important thing and anything that can be perceived as undermining that is a mistake and I apologize.”
The fact is, Abrams and her ilk are the greatest threat to our kids, not her failure to wear a mask
Despite the fact that children are at virtually zero risk for ChiCom Virus serious illness – and evidence that masking children does more harm than good, power-drunk Demos are having a very difficult time letting go of their mask-mandate madness, despite the now-abundant evidence that masking is ineffective.
However, as I noted last month, Joe Biden is about to perform a COVID pivot ahead of the midterm elections so he can assert he actually did “shut down the virus.” And there is evidence that some Demo governors are reading the same polls. This week, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware and Oregon governors announced that they are, without explanation, rolling back mask mandates for schools. New York’s Hochul and California’s Newsom are also announcing some unmasking measures – but not for children.
Watch the pivot — the Left’s power obsession with masking mandates is about to shift. And Biden is hoping the courts will continue to give him an out on vaxxing mandates ahead of the midterms.
Of course if the pivot strategy doesn’t improve Biden’s approval numbers, alternatively they can claim ahead of the election that infection rates from the next Covid variant are soaring, and we better stick with their bulk-mail balloting fraud come November…
(Footnote: Our objection to mask mandates has not wavered since the earliest enforcement of this statist nonsense.)
