Re: Can Trump Move the Needle?

“Having spent 35 years at the highest levels of strategic military planning for kinetic operations against adversaries, Alexander’s rebuttal to the armchair experts claiming Iran poses no ‘imminent threat’ is spot on: ‘If you wait for an imminent threat, you have waited too long.’” —Virginia

Re: SOTU: Trump Loves America, and Democrats Hate Him for It

“When President Trump called for the people to reaffirm the fundamental principle of government, it was a pop quiz in civics. The Declaration of Independence states, ‘To secure [God-given] rights, governments are established among men.’ The Constitution’s Preamble says its purpose is to ‘establish justice … and to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.’ In the president’s words, ‘to protect American citizens.’ The Democrats flunked. They are an embarrassment to the people they represent and put their rights and freedoms at risk.” —Minnesota

Re: Spanberger’s Dour SOTU Rebuttal

“Spanberger has been a leftist from the beginning. She was only ‘moderate’ in relation to the real crazies of The Squad and Pocahontas and Bernie. She is a slick politician who kept a low profile in Congress and spoke the language of the more traditional Democrats while maintaining her leftist bona fides. And she has plenty — including a family history of leftist politics. She was the representative of my district before redistricting after the last census, and I paid some attention to her. She carefully supported Biden while occasionally throwing a bone to sanity. She is an adept politician and should not be underestimated. She has played both sides well. Being Virginia governor is a way station for 2028.” —Virginia

“The question is whether all liberal women are ugly inside and out. A majority of these shrill harpies do not require costumes for Halloween. The second question is whether their disappointing appearance influences their radical anti-American political positions.” —Washington

Re: Smith Was Spying on Wiles and Patel

“Whoever thought illegal wiretapping or broad snooping was justifiable should be made the subject of a ‘hear and fear’ moment in court (Deuteronomy 19:20). It should be made so clear that is unacceptable that it will be a generation before anyone is arrogant and foolish enough to try it again.” —Minnesota

Re: Genital Mutilation of Somali Women in Minnesota

“Not all Somalis are fraudsters or practice female genital mutilation. One great American from Somalia, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, has done more to stop FGM in America than any other person. She also speaks out against child marriage, antisemitism, and Islamic terrorism. She would be a great candidate for the Presidential Medal of Freedom.” —California

Re: Leftmedia Spears Team USA

“Sports fans of all stripes overwhelmingly lean conservative. They also overwhelmingly own guns and are, by and large, people who live life with far less fear and far more enjoyment than narcissistic, self-important podcasters, screeching Karen wine moms, blue-haired lesbians, or Antifa troglodytes out looking for an excuse to riot. Being a beloved sports hero depends more on being a patriot. But I guess the Left doesn’t get that.” —Oklahoma

Re: The Future of Nuclear Power Is Bright

“I’m looking forward to the use of micro-nuclear units. If installed in ocean-going freighters and applied to ferry boats, we could see a significant reduction in the use of fossil fuels. Don’t tell the tree huggers who ruined this power source for years. If they work so well in submarines, why not public service applications?” —Washington

“We would be a lot further along if it weren’t for President Carter, who stopped nuclear development and shut down a spent fuel rod replenishing plant.” —Minnesota

“Hopefully, we will finally recognize that nuclear is the best, safest, and cleanest available way to produce electricity. As a veteran of both the Navy’s nuclear power program and 26 years in the commercial nuclear industry, I will say that this is long overdue!” —South Carolina
