Re: What Is a Justified War?

“Excellent article, especially about the Vietnam comparison. North Vietnamese generals in 1995 said they knew they were going to get everything they wanted because of the protesters disrupting the peace talks. They prolonged the war and caused more casualties. We’re seeing a repeat of it now.” —Minnesota

“The claim that Iran is in a stronger position than before the war started is an obvious lie. Tehran is no longer close to producing a nuclear weapon. If the Iranians had a nuke, no city in the U.S. or any other country would be safe from a mushroom cloud.” —Florida

Re: TDS Overtakes Welker as Trump Walks Out of Interview

“It’s amazing how the fake news incessantly fixates on Trumponomics. How about, even for a moment, fixating on the real economic malfeasance perpetrated by the Left? For starters, let’s go with Obama’s Solyndra debacle and his easy-money giveaway to Iran. And how about Biden’s go-for-broke spending bonanza during COVID and the inflation-producing Inflation Reduction Act? And let’s throw in Newsom’s money pit of a project for a high-speed rail line just for kicks. I guess when you don’t report serious news, all you can do is fake it.” —North Carolina

Re: Scott Pelley’s Time Runs Out

“Obviously, the people who have been shown the door at CBS are no Walter Cronkite. I’m old enough to remember when honest nonpartisan journalism actually existed. Hopefully, the new person in charge will be able to turn the division around and reinstall some semblance of nonpartisan reporting to CBS. Journalism? We’ll just have to wait and see.” —South Carolina

Re: Jesse and Ashley Ridgway Feign Compassion for Tragic Choice

“Good editorial. Besides the Gordian knot of drawing a line on termination or disability, there is another problem. How long will health insurance pay to help improve the lives of the disabled? How long before society accepts that some disabilities are so severe that the afflicted’s life should be terminated? How long before funding for medical research to heal the disabled, prevent the disability, or improve their quality of life is denied? If we accept abortion as the solution, how can we justify wasting resources searching for a cure or prevention? This tragedy is so evil in so many respects that it takes one’s breath away. Literally for that baby boy. How long before our society’s slide into the abyss is irrevocable?” —Missouri

“Satan is alive and well, and it appears he was able to inculcate his evil plan in the minds of this couple. No worries, though — this little one is with Jesus. As King David declared about the son he lost after his affair with Bathsheba, ‘But now he is dead. Why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he will not return to me’ (2 Sam. 12:23). David ultimately knew that he would be reunited with his son for all time in Heaven. Pray for the Ridgways and the many others who have chosen this horrific path. They need forgiveness and a fresh wind of healing through Jesus — and the comfort of knowing they will see their little one again.” —North Carolina

“Fact is, it does take courage to raise a child with Down syndrome, autism, or anything else that categorizes a child by some people as ‘not normal.’” —Alabama

Re: British Citizens Outraged by Heinous Crime

“The UK is a kingdom of cowards afraid of being called names. This is just the latest outrage. The UK ‘allowed’ its women and girls to be raped and groomed for years and protected the Pakistani rape gang from prosecution. Moreover, the feckless police arrested fathers who tried to protect their daughters. The UK desperately needs a full-on rebellion that sweeps clean all traces of Muslim influence in government. But, alas, they have no stomach for what needs to be done, as they are a nation of cowards.” —Ohio

Re: The ‘Pride Month’ Pendulum Is Swinging

“Before June was ‘Pride Month,’ it was the month for weddings — especially for high school and college sweethearts since marriage was seen as the next step after graduation. While June was never officially called ‘Wedding Month,’ the stores and magazines promoted weddings and wedding fashion. It was no accident that June was selected as ‘Pride Month,’ as it was displacing a cultural expectation that the gay movement hated.” —California

“Perhaps the best way to deal with the LGBTQ+ community and their obnoxious, in-your-face pride celebration is to totally ignore them, thus depriving them of the infantile attention they so desperately crave. We should also ignore those corporate entities that continue pandering to them for some terribly misguided reason.” —Florida

Re: Climate Alarmism Is Killing the Family

“It’s not just the irrational fear of global warming causing drops in birth rates. There is a constant worldwide attack on the nuclear family. From advancing homosexuality to pushing transsexuality, the Left is relentless in working to destroy what makes us human and reproductive.” —New Jersey

Re: Six Strings and the Chord Your Life Makes

“After reading Alexander’s column, I watched the YouTube video link he provided. I am in awe of the wisdom and truth Eric shared with the UNC graduates. He spoke from his deep convictions about life, faith, and love that hit the soul. I especially loved how he blended the song to fit the ceremony. That takes real talent and understanding.” —Kentucky

Re: Profiles of Valor: CPO Adam Brown (USN)

“As a retired USAF Veteran, thank you, Patriot Post, for your Profiles of Valor, especially the latest on CPO Adam Brown! I read the book Fearless many years ago and have purchased and given countless copies to others. His story is unforgettable. God bless his family!” —Georgia

“CPO Adam Brown’s Silver Star should be upgraded to the Navy Cross.” —Arizona
